21/05/2025: So the place and the friendly welcome, the room installed in a butcher's shop so we eat excellent meat for only 70€/kg (60€/kg for the minced steak). No vegetables, frozen fries on the other hand much too salty, we could not eat them. For us the quality price ratio was not really there, but we had come in by chance not prepared for such a carnivorous experience.

13/05/2025: The room was very large and comfortable, with its own fireplace. Highly recommended for relaxing and experiencing the real Italy. The location is excellent. Very quiet, and the food was also very good.

05/04/2025: Heerlijk eten, zowel zoete gebakjes als hartige deegwaren en arancina. Lekkere Cassatine, broodje worst, pizza etc. Hele aardige bediening. 2 tafels binnen en 2 buiten. Ruime koffiekeuze.

15/05/2025: Excellent restaurant. Les pâtes au pesto de pistaches sans gluten, sans lactose un vrai délice. Les beignets de fleurs de courgettes sans gluten et sans lactose, légères et délicates. Et le tout servis avec du pain sans gluten. À ne pas manquer.

16/05/2025: One of the best restaurants we have found , it’s full of locals very friendly and the food is amazing, only place we have found vegetables in abundance, it’s a very casual canteen type place no table service, you point at what you want to eat and drink and give your name, they call you when it’s ready, just like home, and you clear away after, great atmosphere.

22/05/2025: Honestly this place is one of the best restaurants I have been to in my life and I am picky. amazing and underpriced. This is easily a 1- 2 star Michelin restaurant. I loved the place. Totally reasonably priced and amazing food. Congrats to the chef and amazing service with Davide our server.

09/05/2025: I'm sorry to say the service as well as the beer did not satisfy me at all. The service put me in a nervous situation several times, too direct and unwelcoming, for the baked potatoes with speck which simply needed to be reheated I had to wait more than three quarters of an hour, calling for the dish several times with the place not even being full. They say the beer is a blanche, fruity but nothing special. I pointed it out, obviously I kept that one but there was no satisfaction from the service. Other places and other venues are definitely much more welcoming, much faster and much more satisfying. Sin.

29/04/2025: This place is very welcoming and characteristic. My son, my husband and I frequented it for a couple of evenings because we were passing through Catania and coincidentally we were staying next door. They have board games available and in addition to the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the craft beers are delicious and the food is of excellent quality (ribs and chips). Excellent quality/price ratio 👌

20/05/2025: Excellent! We chose burratina as an appetizer, a first course with creamed broad beans and crispy bacon and rolls with a side of baked potatoes, all delicious! The house red wine was equally good. Welcoming, typical mountain atmosphere, kind owner. We will be back😄

29/05/2025: Sitting here as I write this, because this cannoli is magical. I ordered a cappuccino and a cannolo. The cappuccino was great, but then I bit into the cannoli, and this is certainly the best cannoli I’ve ever had in my life. You don’t see them on display because they keep the materials in the back to prepare it fresh when you order. The shell is crisp and flaky, not greasy at all. The filling was still cool from being refrigerated, but very soft, and the perfect sweetness. The people are very friendly, the prices are, I expect, local prices, the cafe interior is lovely, and the patio views are wonderful. I will for sure be back!

05/05/2025: Discovered by chance, this restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even more pleasant. The pasta alla Norma was a revelation: authentic flavors, perfect aubergines and ricotta salata that enhanced every bite. The imperial sauro recommended by the waiter was also excellent, fresh and tasty. A corner of Sicily not to be missed, where I will definitely return. Highly recommended!

19/05/2025: Highly recommended by our host, and we totally get the reason why we have to eat here whilst in Ortigia! It was so good that we ate here two days in a row! Loved the freshness of the seafood (particularly the daily special “sea uni pasta” and mussels soup), their pasta and above all, how fun and nice everyone who served us! Service line is never easy with the long hours but all the servers is so helpful and clearly loved their job!
