05/01/2026: If you want fresh fish, you have to go to Roberto's. Everything is truly delicious: fresh, tasty, and plentiful, at a fair price. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and tidy. The staff is attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. After all, it's among the Best Restaurants in Italy.

04/01/2026: Blissful experience! Food is amazing, especially fish, I wish I could eat more! One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! And service is really nice and kind, the managers sat down to chat with us. Really great experience!

16/11/2025: Donnafugata Castle is a great place for a delicious lunch or dinner! Excellent ingredients and condiments, served with warmth and professionalism. I recommend the gnocchi and roast beef! The desserts are limited. Excellent coffee.

31/10/2025: Although it was a touristy place, the appetizers we ordered were very good. The sciaco with tomatoes was excellent!

15/10/2025: Together with friends on vacation in Palermo, we chose this restaurant to celebrate a very dear friend's birthday! Truly fantastic! Excellent food, friendly and always helpful staff! Everything was delicious! Excellent value for money! Minimal wait time! Upon request, they even had a dessert made for us from their pastry shop... Amazing!! Recommended!

04/01/2026: A truly positive experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and refined. The service was professional and friendly. The ingredients were excellent and locally sourced. Everything was perfect. At the end of the dinner, Chef Costantino even came to say goodbye and made sure we were happy with everything. Highly recommended!

28/12/2025: It was superb. I keep thinking about my (fresh) spaghetti, and specifically the sauce: Nduja, bottarga, breadcrumbs, grilled tomatoes, parsley. Mopped up with scarpette of their home made bread that was delicious. Clean bowls all round. My children had wonderful artichoke hearts that they made disappear in seconds, without offering any to their father. My wife had marinaded prawns of again unknown delicacy. As soon as I return to London I want to try to make that spaghetti sauce. Had an excellent carricante-based Etna bianco 2024 from SRC. Carricante for Etna whites and Nerello Mascalese for Etna rosso are the best wines in Sicily. Dry, saline, savoury, exquisite. My main course was roast pork slices from Nebrodi pigs with charred broccoli that melted in the mouth. I would go back again tonight and have the spaghetti again. I should also add that the service was first rate: two charming knowledgeable Sicilian ladies who spoke English well. What a place!

22/11/2025: We had the tasting menu and matching wines and every course and every wine was superb. They stick to local wines and foods and the preparation, presentation and taste were exceptional. I can see why Michelin rated them and I think they deserve a star. It was a quiet night hr but we were treated with good attention and the pace was excellent: not too fast or rushed. The highlight was probably the dish from locally foraged mushrooms: probably the best mushrooms I’ve ever had and that includes porcini and girolles. The umami was fabulous. To be fair each dish also went so well together that you felt this was a well curated menu with the richness increasing as you progressed: starting with a lightly marinated raw scampi dish and ending with a marscapone and jelly with carob wafers.

15/12/2025: Reservation for pizza with colleagues. The place is very nice, even more so in the summer with a lovely outdoor area. The pizzas are very good, with a wide variety. Excellent service. Good price.

20/11/2025: Last night I had the pleasure of taking some colleagues to Spiga!!! They immediately complimented me on the restaurant—beautiful, welcoming, and elegant—and then they were thrilled with the pizzas and desserts, and with Gianluca's hospitality, always available and smiling. Excellent value for money!

07/02/2026: Stopped here during a godfather tour. The restaurant was recommended by our tour guide and it didn't disappoint. They have a balcony which looks from Forza d agro across the Messina Straight to Reggio.

The cacao tagliatelle was, without exaggeration, the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten—perfectly balanced, earthy yet subtly sweet, and completely unforgettable. Truly next-level. We also had the sea bass with mashed potatoes, and both were bursting with flavor—fresh, delicate fish paired with incredibly rich and comforting potatoes done just right. The meal started with excellent Sicilian bread and olive oil, followed by thoughtfully paired wines that complemented each dish beautifully. We finished with a delectable tiramisu, the perfect ending to an already flawless meal. Beyond the food, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming, making the entire experience feel special from start to finish. Sal8 is an absolute must-do in Agrigento—creative, soulful cooking done exceptionally well. 🍷🍝✨

The dishes are outstanding, made with high-quality ingredients, and the service is excellent, with staff who are both highly professional and genuinely warm. If you're unsure on what to get, definitely ask for recommendations. They will surprise you with dishes you wouldn’t think possible. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming: the wooden structure feels like a mountain cabin in winter, while in summer dining under the olive trees evokes a Sicilian country home. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it to everyone, vegan or not
