15/02/2026: Today we were there for the second time. We were enchanted the first time, and the second, too. Nestled in the hills near Collesano, it offers breathtaking views and is easy to reach. The place feels like home, they welcome you with a smile, the fireplace is always lit, in short, it's a comfortable refuge. The service is excellent, even on the busiest and most hectic days, with a constant smile and friendliness from the staff. The owner loves what he does; you'll see him wandering the tables, personally serving guests, and making sure everything is fine. The food is delicious, made with top-quality ingredients, with a focus on local produce. The dishes are a mix of tradition and innovation, but without losing their local identity. In short, it's like eating at a gourmet grandmother's house! The portions are generous; we couldn't finish everything and took the rest home because throwing it away would have been sacrilegious. They always offer a shot of their own liqueurs. The chocolate one is definitely worth trying; it's sublime. We bought a bottle. Casale Drinzi is one of those places that fills your belly and warms your heart, perfect for a little pampering every now and then. See you next time! 20/10/2025: The food is absolutely delicious, the best that we had in Sicily. Waiters are very helpful, polite. We are traveling with 20 month old toddler, the stuff helped us to arrange the food for the kid. Pizzas are outstanding, second dishes very very tasty. The waiter Joseppe was absolutely the best, very friendly, polite, and helpful!

26/02/2026: I'm extremely disappointed and annoyed by my experience at (Rinuccio). I arrived with my wife, including our two dogs, and asked if we could sit at an outdoor table, where there was no one else. The answer was a firm, "No, we don't accept pets." (I think it was a chef.) I wonder, what difference does it make if the table is outdoors? Our dogs are well-behaved and wouldn't have bothered anyone. In fact, it would have been a pleasure to have them by our side. The "we don't accept pets" excuse became increasingly ridiculous when we asked if there was an outdoor area where we could sit, and the answer was, "No, we don't have an outdoor area for dogs." But if the table is outdoors, isn't it already an outdoor area? My wife and I have decided to go elsewhere and will never return to this restaurant. If they can't accept a well-behaved dog, then they can't claim to be a welcoming and friendly restaurant. *Tip:* Don't go to this restaurant if you like to travel with your pets.

22/02/2026: Stunning location overlooking the Etna forests. Mount Etna in the background adds an extra touch. The staff is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Honorable mention for the quality of the food, especially the croquettes, the trofie with pistachio pesto, and the apple cake with orange oil. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. At the end of the dinner, Chef Costantino even came to say goodbye and made sure we were happy with everything. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, perfect for a fun evening with friends or family, where you can entertain yourself with board games and the right background music. The sandwiches are definitely one of their strong points: well-filled, tasty, and made with top-quality ingredients. The bread is fragrant, and the ingredients are fresh, well-balanced, with very successful combinations (real chicken breast!!!) and exceptional baked and fried potatoes. The menu isn't limited to sandwiches alone, but also offers platters, first courses, and second courses. The desserts are also excellent, providing a pleasant conclusion to the meal and definitely worth trying. The apple pie with cinnamon caramel 🤤 and the birramisu are particularly noteworthy. Their smoked bitters are also worth trying. The selection of craft beers is highly appreciated, with several interesting options you won't find anywhere else in Catania. 15/02/2026: We recently went on holiday to Taormina and wanted to hike up Mount Etna. On the way, we stopped in Zafferano Etna, where a woman recommended that we don't eat in Taormina, but instead in a beautiful place called Forza d'Agro. It's about 30 minutes from Taormina, nestled in the mountains with stunning views of the sea and Calabria. Incidentally, scenes from the film "Il Padrino" were filmed there! We had a wonderful meal at this trattoria, of course with fish, and the value for money was excellent! Highly recommended!

22/02/2026: This was an amazing experience! The restaurant is beautiful, food is great, and the service! Everyone friendly, funny and it doesn't matter that they don't speak much English, it's even better, you will always find a way how to communicate.

15/02/2026: We had lunch with some friends and chose a fish appetizer with both fried and raw fish, all delicious. We particularly enjoyed the raw fish and the extremely delicate mixed fried fish. We continued with two first courses (paccheri and spaghetti with squid ink) and desserts, especially the single-serving cassata. Regarding the quality/price ratio, it's worth noting that the prices are quite high for the area. The setting is nice, but the atmosphere is a bit cold. Yesterday (Valentine's Day) I would have put something colorful on the table or a few candles to add to the theme. But that's just my personal opinion. The wait staff was friendly and courteous.
