11/05/2026: Sale e Pepe Restaurant is one of those quiet restaurants where service is warm and friendly; it's definitely a good choice for those seeking a quiet meal. The menu balances traditional and innovative, offering traditional dishes adapted to the concept of a fine-dining restaurant. The restaurant also offers a daily menu (with two dishes) to offer regulars a bit of novelty and variety. The service is meticulously maintained by the waiters, especially the Maître d', who resolves any issues with extreme professionalism and speed.

09/05/2026: I had an appetizer of 6 mozzarella balls with eggplant and shrimp tartare: microscopic, frozen mozzarella balls, no discernible flavor. The first course was bavette with mullet bottarga: the pasta was very good, but the sauce was undetectable. The dessert was: cream puffs with dark chocolate ganache; on the plate, a ball of shortcrust pastry covered in icing... this too was tasteless. In short, a pretentious, expensive place, with food far below the price and expectations!

27/03/2026: Osteria del grano arso is an incredible choice in Foggia. The orecchiette pugliese di grano arso, the papardelle aI funghi freschi and the pasta fresca alle verdure o legumi keep the best flavour of the most authentic Italian cuisine. Besides, their tiramisú is the best we have ever tasted. Its smoothness fascinated us. In the background the owner playing the Spanish guitar delighted us. This osteria is a must in Foggia!!

19/04/2026: Top!! We stumbled upon this place by chance. What can I say? The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Hamza and Luigi, the waiters, who greeted us with enthusiasm and attentiveness. Highly recommended to anyone passing through Verona.

The fish is extraordinarily fresh, prepared with great respect, and capable of expressing authentic, clean flavors. Each dish is distinguished by a carefully considered balance: nothing is left to chance, yet the flavors remain natural, without excess or force. This cuisine focuses on substance, showcasing quality ingredients with technique and sensitivity. The presentation is also remarkable: elegant and meticulously crafted, making each dish a delight not only for the palate but also for the eye. Overall, a high-quality experience that successfully combines freshness, balance, and aesthetics: a place well worth a visit and one that clearly stands out in the gastronomic landscape. I highly recommend it. I'll be back soon.

18/06/2026: A truly delicious lunch! Authentic cuisine, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the flavors complemented each other perfectly! The staff were very friendly, and the venue was well-maintained. Everything was delicious, even the desserts.

A four-cheese platter for €30, an additional €8 for a bit of salami, and €1 for each sachet of ketchup: outrageous prices for an unsatisfactory experience. It's a shame, really. It's a shame, especially because Owner is a wonderful person. Owner is simply Proprietor. Criticism is good, when it's delivered honestly. For my part, the conversation ends here. Ad maiora semper.

24/12/2025: Definitely the best place we ate at. Great concept of a butcher shop/restaurant. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. The owner and staff went out of their way and really delighted us. All recommendations for ♡Terra Nostra ♡

24/06/2026: A splendid property located in a panoramic position overlooking the sea and just steps from the beach. We stayed for 4 days; it's the ideal place to relax. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with every comfort, the restaurant is excellent, and the entire staff is highly professional. Everything was perfect; we'll definitely be back!

27/05/2026: Beautiful hotel...we stayed in the recently renovated annex. Warm and professional welcome. Comfortable, clean, bright rooms equipped with every comfort. Quiet location with a relaxing view. Delicious breakfast served on the patio overlooking the garden. The swimming pool, which was under construction, will soon be available. The sea is just a few minutes' walk away, but a shuttle is available in the summer. An ideal location for a wedding. Thanks to the owner and his daughter.

09/02/2026: Excellent quality ratio on the product served, helpful and kind waiters.... the negative thing is that the prices on the list do not match then reported on the bill (on the bill you will find prices increased by € 1-2) pointed out at the time of payment and justified with absurd excuses..... never again

13/02/2026: There's absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the dishes, but the Saturday chaos made the service quite disorganized. We waited almost an hour to order, and we were promised water twice, but it never arrived. One of the grills on the pergola was also turned off to accommodate another table that was warm, but we ended up freezing to death. It's a shame, because we really enjoyed the food.

25/01/2026: We finally managed to book a table at Ovineria. The restaurant is impeccably managed: a welcoming atmosphere, professional staff, and excellent cuisine. The reservation was handled by Simone, while Antonio took care of our table service, providing excellent advice. The tiramisu absolutely lived up to its name, the bruschetta was tasty and beautifully presented, as was the meat, cooked and served with great care. Kudos to the entire staff: we'll definitely be back. My only suggestion for improvement: I had some difficulty distinguishing the men's and women's restrooms, as the signage with only pictures can be misleading. I'd recommend adding the words "Men's" and "Women's" for greater clarity.

22/07/2026: Informal, clean, and fairly youthful place, with friendly and fast service. The pizza is well-seasoned, with a good crust, cooked well, and filling. The prices are fair for the setting. Recommended!

10/05/2026: Porta di Basso was, quite simply, exceptional. The kind of restaurant that reminds you why certain dining experiences stay with you long after the evening ends. Set dramatically above the Adriatic, the atmosphere is breathtaking from the moment you arrive. As the light softened over the sea and the cliffs below, the entire evening felt almost cinematic — elegant, intimate and deeply connected to the landscape of Gargano. The cuisine was outstanding. Creative yet restrained, refined without losing soul. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully balanced and deeply rooted in the territory while still carrying the confidence of true fine dining. One of those rare tasting experiences where every course genuinely surprises and delights. What elevated the evening even further however was the extraordinary service. Warm, polished, passionate and incredibly attentive without ever becoming formal or stiff. The entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed and carefully looked after throughout the night. Porta di Basso is not simply a restaurant — it is a destination experience. A place where setting, cuisine and hospitality align perfectly. Without doubt one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had in Italy.
