23/05/2026: A little piece of paradise in the middle of the agricultural desert of Apulia. The facilities are okay, but cleanliness could be better. The restaurant is lovely; they practically cooked just for us. The food wasn't great, but I think we were just unlucky. It's a great place to camp and use the showers. It's also suitable for campervans. The two of us with our tent paid just €8, while the set menu was a bit more expensive at €27 per person. There are several large sheepdogs living here, but they're very friendly and playful. So no worries :)

06/05/2026: I spontaneously stopped by during my cycling trip and asked if I could pitch my tent here. No problem at all; I received a very warm welcome from Daniela and the dogs. I could choose my own spot. It's a beautiful, well-maintained, and relaxing oasis of peace and quiet in the middle of nature. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the rooms or the food, as I had my own supplies and tent with me. A hot shower and drinking water were available. Daniela was very helpful and gave me a great recommendation for the following night, even calling ahead to check if they were open. Since it was still the end of April, it wasn't always easy to find a campsite for the night. 🚲 I started the next morning refreshed and well-rested. I have to say, it was one of the most wonderful stays I've had in southern Italy. And all for €10!

22/03/2026: Excellent service, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, truly delicious cuisine made with top-quality ingredients, and a superb wine selection for all budgets, with excellent quality from the cheapest to the most expensive. Recommended for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends for important events, the quality is truly excellent.

22/01/2026: The focus on lactose-free options was excellent, but the main courses were disappointing. I visited Dispensa in Foggia, curious about this new place for me, having not lived in the city for years. The experience was a mix of positives and decidedly subdued aspects. The caramel and salted peanut cheesecake deserves a special mention: finding a lactose-free dessert this good is not a given, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The patatas bravas with peel and rosemary were also very good. The other courses, however, disappointed me: Scrocchiarella: being intolerant, I asked for the burrata to be removed and if it could be replaced with something else, but I was told there was nothing available. I felt like I'd put the person taking the order on the spot, and while it was a nice idea, without an alternative, the final taste was a bit bland. Tuna tataki: the plating is nice, but the corn-crusted breading was so overpowering that it completely covered the flavor of the tuna. A shame, because I was excited to try it. Fassona beef tartare: the sorest point. I'm used to bright red tartare; this one was dull (I've attached a photo), and the flavor was covered by the tomato crumble. I wasn't convinced by either the perceived freshness or the quality of the meat, which seemed almost camouflaged by the breading. Overall, the concept of the place is very nice, but for the price (including a €4 amaro), I expected a more refined balance of flavors and more prominent ingredients. I hope this provides useful feedback for improvement.

03/04/2026: A very welcoming, clean hotel in an excellent location, allowing you to easily reach the Sanctuary on foot. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I recommend this hotel for short or long stays.

17/05/2026: Simply a wonderful place!!! We were going from Rome to Bari and stopped at this restaurant for lunch and it was amazing… The food was wonderful, everything was very well prepared, generously served, and affordable. They have a set menu option or à la carte… We were very well attended to by the Italian-Brazilian Diego, who was very friendly and polite. He explained the menu to us very well!

06/04/2026: We went for dinner on Easter Monday. The menu was excellent, the service excellent, and the value for money was good. It deserves more opportunities.

16/04/2026: A cousin of Lucera's recommended this bar to me. It's a traditional bar in town with excellent and friendly service. The coffee is delicious, and it's a great place to stop if you want to go somewhere frequented by locals.

09/03/2026: Everything was delicious, artisanal pastry shop since 1949. They were very kind to us, explained everything very patiently, and gave us a taste of their famous cassata.

13/08/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful, romantic, and very well-maintained. The service is top-notch: the staff is always attentive, helpful, and very polite. We've been to this place several times, and I have no reason not to recommend it. The dishes are also well-prepared and generous. Well done!

19/07/2026: We went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed, even though we've been going there for years. The fried food was good, but the quantity was decidedly insufficient for the price. The pizzas had a nice crust, but they weren't cooked evenly: one, in particular, had a burnt crust, while the tomato sauce seemed practically raw, probably undercooked before being used. We politely asked for a replacement, especially since it was intended for children and we wanted to avoid any stomach problems, but the waitress's response was rather rude, simply saying "it wasn't her fault," without trying to resolve the situation. The service was also disappointing: the wait times were long, and on several occasions we had the impression that the waiters pretended not to hear us when we called to order or ask for something. Finally, when it came to the bill, we were also charged for the service for the cake we'd brought from home. If this is a restaurant policy, it's legitimate to enforce it, but it would have been appropriate to communicate this in advance. I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review for a restaurant we've always enjoyed, but this experience was truly disappointing in several ways. More than the food, what left a bad taste in our mouths was the way we were treated. For this reason, we're unlikely to return.

12/06/2026: Romantic dinner for two. A fantastic experience... Everything was truly remarkable. Delicious food and an elegant atmosphere. In addition to the courteous and prompt service, a special mention goes to the owner and chef: a very helpful man and an excellent host. I will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

04/06/2026: Due to bad weather, we dined inside in the cellar, a lovely, well-kept place. We ordered appetizers from the "light" menu: focaccia barese and duck stew with figs and caciocavallo cream. The dishes were generous and rich; I recommend the focaccia. Then we ordered lamb chop with egg and octopus with chorizo. These dishes were also delicious, with unusual but well-matched pairings. Desserts included baba and a semifreddo; the baba was good, but the semifreddo was a bit bland. Drinks included water and a glass of wine. The service was very kind and attentive. 25/05/2026: A lovely little shop just steps from the Arena. We discovered some excellent products (the wines were superb). Alberto is passionate about his work and has a great sense of humor!

08/08/2026: Reginella is a pizzeria that has passionately carried on the ancient tradition of pizza making for over 15 years, run by a friendly and passionate couple. The pizza is truly excellent: a special dough, light and very digestible, it doesn't leave you feeling thirsty and, in fact, makes you want to eat another! The quality-price ratio is also excellent. The owner has also received several awards over the years, including one from Gianfranco Vissani. Tradition, quality, and passion: Reginella is definitely worth a try!

22/07/2026: I booked through TheFork 10 minutes before arriving, and they didn't have a reservation, but they were very kind, even making some people stand up to join tables and seat us. 10 out of 10. The food was good, the service was attentive and fast, and the staff were helpful. They even added 20% to the bill, even though it wasn't included.

06/12/2025: I love coming to this restaurant because the quality of the meat is truly impeccable. Every time I'm amazed at how well it's cooked: tender, flavorful, and always perfectly cooked. The quality of the ingredients used is also excellent, and it shows in every dish. The owner deserves a special mention. He's extremely courteous and helpful, always ready to greet customers with a smile and do everything he can to make them feel comfortable. For me, he's become a go-to: when I want to eat well and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, I already know where to go. Highly recommended.

10/06/2026: Review of the pitiful way in which animals are kept... a disgrace... in a place like this they should be better off than humans... everything dirty, tiny spaces... chickens that brood in the ground... deer... full of flies... donkeys that have food thrown at them... after seeing the neglect in which they are kept we left... shame, shame!

03/05/2026: Nice place, home-style food, and a family atmosphere. The only flaw is the table service, which is a bit unsuitable for a family atmosphere and not a work environment, I'd say. Some improvements are needed.

18/04/2026: Found online, I highly recommend it for its quality and price. We had the house antipasto...typical (it's from an excellent trattoria) with baked caciocavallo cheese, three excellent first courses, house wine, three amari...€25.00 each. We'll definitely be back.
