18/07/2025: We were there for work, and were welcomed as if we were their grandchildren. The owners, Filippo and Rosaria, are two genuine, hard-working people who do everything they can to make their guests feel welcome and cared for, as do their daughters who help them, who are also tireless. After 15 days, we were sad to leave them; we felt at home. We returned two years later, again for work. The place has been completely renovated, but fortunately the spirit hasn't. I will return as soon as possible, and we will continue to return. Thank you again for everything you have done and continue to do. If you pass through Roseto, you can't miss this place. 28/07/2025: Wonderful dinner at De Vinum in Peschici! A truly special experience: exquisitely prepared dishes, a professional, kind, and attentive staff. The wine list is extensive and well-thought out, a true gem for lovers of fine wine. It's hard to choose a favorite dish, but the amberjack carpaccio and the warm cuttlefish tagliatelle are absolutely unmissable. A big round of applause also for the gluten-free options: from the bread to the pasta dishes to the desserts, everything was impeccable. I can't wait to return! A truly wonderful dinner at De Vinum in Peschici! Every detail was taken care of—beautifully presented dishes, a super professional, kind, and attentive staff. The wine list is excellent: well-curated and full of great choices for true wine lovers. Hard to pick a favorite dish, but the amberjack carpaccio and the warm cuttlefish are definitely must-tries. Also incredibly impressed by how well they handled gluten-free options, from the bread to the pasta and even desserts. Can't wait to go back!

25/07/2025: We came across this place by chance. We ordered appetizers, including a slice of toast with butter, anchovies, and orange (€16). We were expecting a different presentation than the one served at the table. Then a slice of toast with salmon and buffalo mozzarella stracciata (a slice of bread??). Then a fresella with stracciata and dried tomatoes. Basically, the ingredients served at the table are never processed. You take a slice of bread, toast it, and add the ingredients. We ordered orecchiette with tomato sauce for my daughter, and she got orecchiette with raw tomatoes. The first courses were good, but not excellent. Excellent service from the blonde girl. The location was really cute and unique. A terrible advert for Apulian cuisine (and not only). Puglia, which during our stay here, proved to be a region with a tendency to fleece tourists. Edit I'm replying to the answer you offered under my review. "Are our prices in line with the quality offered?" A slice of bread with butter, anchovies, and orange zest €16? Where do you get the oranges? Are you kidding? You said we liked the pasta dishes, but I said they were good but not excellent. Are you implying we're used to jarred sauces just because I think we're all good at making orecchiette with raw cherry tomatoes sautéed in a pan with pasta? But wouldn't tomato puree for children's penne be better than using raw cherry tomatoes? This doesn't mean we're used to pre-made sauces. In any case, the service is excellent, and so is the location. I think I've been as objective as possible, because I paid and thanked them, I complimented the staff and the location, but you just can't believe that someone who grew up in a grandmother's or mother's Italian kitchen is accustomed to anything better. 16/08/2025: Terrible experience. After a very long wait, the food finally arrived: spaghetti with clams, cold, dry, and tasteless—a real disappointment. The mussels? Inedible, so salty they tasted like they'd been preserved in seawater. To make matters worse, the bill was ridiculously high, completely unjustified given the poor quality of the food and the slow service. I absolutely do not recommend this place; it's more of a tourist trap than a serious restaurant.

14/08/2025: We were there the day before yesterday. We'd seen some reviews and decided to go with it. For starters, we had tuna tartare and a mixed antipasto. I must say the quality of the tuna was very good. For the main course, we chose spaghetti with squid ink and shrimp tartare. The dish wasn't very successful; the pasta was dry and lacked flavor (the shrimp were delicious). The restaurant was very kind in canceling two portions because they weren't appreciated. Then we had a delicious mixed grill and fried fish dish. Good value for money.

21/04/2025: We came across the place out of pure curiosity, risking the success of the baptism which we thought we would celebrate in a new place "for a change"....and we did very well. Intimate and private place where we ate magnificently; we requested fish, meat, baby and vegetarian menus and none of them disappointed us. All the guests enjoyed it and no one had any complaints about anything because we were satisfied with everything; from the cushion to improve the seat due to health problems to the hairdryer to dry a little girl who made herself a water balloon with soap bubble water and all served by Mr. Michele, in the presence of his wife, who turned out to be kind, welcoming and companionable people with whom to share and also express personal life stories. My guests and I will definitely be back

04/04/2025: Sunday salvation! On Sunday, when I wake up and don't feel like cooking or going out, I know it's ready on the table. Tasty dishes that save me time without sacrificing quality. Perfect for those, like me, looking for something good without too many commitments. I recommend the lasagna.

21/07/2025: My wife and I had dinner last night with another couple of friends on their recommendation, and it was a fantastic experience. The chef welcomed us impeccably and warmly. The location is beautiful, with meticulous attention to detail; modern and welcoming, refined, and truly beautiful. We were lucky enough to find a table for four on the terrace. Wow! The staff takes great care of you; they're knowledgeable and know how to offer the right advice; they're not intrusive, but discreet and friendly. The dishes were simply fabulous, different from the usual, flavorful, and high-quality. For me, as a big eater, it was a problem because I couldn't stop eating. Everything was delicious, excellent, from appetizer to dessert. And last but not least, the bill; I thought I'd pay a staggering amount, but it was very, very fair. The value for money, in my opinion, is unbeatable. The bill is itemized in every detail, everything is clear, and there are no surprises. I hope the generous discount is also a must. I'll promote this place whenever I can and to whoever I can. We were coming from San Paolo di Civitate. Go there because it's truly worth it, trust me.

01/08/2025: Excellent paposcia, well cooked and well seasoned. The service is fast and friendly. The place is simple, probably family-run. I definitely recommend it for trying this local specialty. The paposcia del contadino (oven-baked and topped with pecorino cheese) is delicious, best enjoyed with cured meats on the side.

26/07/2025: On this vacation back to my Lucera roots, we stopped here for lunch twice, and before we left, we already booked another. I'm not posting photos because I'm not used to it, and I'm not even in the habit of leaving reviews. But in this case, it's a must. This restaurant is run by chef Paolo and his wife, who work directly with their customers. Knowing that today was my partner's birthday, they even prepared a special menu just for us! The dishes are freshly prepared (which isn't a given), and the menu changes daily, always using the freshest ingredients. I think it's the best place to eat in Lucera, and not only that, I think it's among the best in Italy, both for the quality of the dishes and the customer service.

12/04/2025: Di passaggio con le moto insieme ad un mio caro amico, abbiamo provato quedto bar - tavola calda e pasticceria. Abbiamo preso un caffè e un dolcetto al pistacchio: tutto molto buono e personale ( forse la proprietaria) molto gentile, simpatica e professionale. Il caffè davvero Top! Alla prossima sicuramente... Locale consigliato.

21/06/2025: On a hillside near where Saint Micheal appeared awaits a protector of great taste named Templari where Biogio awaits your arrival to begin your gastronomic journey into eastern coastal Italy. This place is not known to me but after mass I was lead around historic places of prayer 🙏 to rest into the best that San Angelo has to offer. The skill and thoughtfulness of the chef insured that every bite would deliver upon its promise….to never let you forget an incredible journey. My friends, as always I think of you when I walk inside a culinary adventure, what do you want, what does your soul yearn to eat, look no more because templari brings you right where you need to be 🙏 Grazie Mille

20/01/2025: El lugar en sí es lo que esperas de una auténtica enoteca italiana. Grandes vinos , personal amable y conocedor del vino. Pero la comida fue decepcionante, por decir lo menos. No vale la pena ahorrar en la calidad de los productos, el queso que se sirvió no honraba en absoluto los quesos italianos que conocemos, el sarro de ternera no era de primera calidad y el cocinero haría bien en revisar su receta de paté de hígado.
