This evening was also exceptional. The food, location, and staff were exceptional. Always excellent value.

06/04/2026: I recently dined at Il Simposio restaurant and had a very positive experience. Despite its inland location, the seafood selection was excellent, with fresh ingredients and well-executed dishes.
The atmosphere is elegant and very pleasant, ideal for a quiet evening. The staff was courteous and professional throughout the service.
I gave it 4 stars only because of some minor inconveniences with the wait times between courses, but overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for good seafood in the area. The quality/price ratio is fair.

07/04/2026: A bare location devoid of any added value (not even a sea view), with a bill that's anything but light. A practically empty seafood first course (two mussels and a few clams), a simple tomato dish, and a lightly seasoned sea bream for two don't even begin to justify spending around €100, without wine.
I understand it was Easter Monday, but opening should mean offering a worthy experience, not giving the impression of working to the bare minimum. The result is a huge disappointment for the customer, given the decidedly ambitious prices.
The quality/price ratio is clearly insufficient.
04/04/2026: We were in this splendid restaurant this evening and it was an exciting experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was very friendly. The cuisine deserved 10 out of 10. The dishes were well made and of an excellent quality. They were simply fantastic and we recommend them wholeheartedly. ❤️

15/12/2025: The pizza is good, a guaranteed favorite in the area. They just need to renovate the place, but otherwise, everything's fine.
20/10/2025: We went to visit relatives in Torremaggiore, and on Saturday evening they decided to order two trays of pizza from Il Gufo.
Really good, easy to digest, and tasty even when eaten cold. Congratulations.
Highly recommended!

28/04/2025: Sono stato di domenica a pranzo per un compleanno. Cibo molto buono, personale gentile, ottima organizzazione. Complimenti per tutto.
30/03/2025: Ristorante sito alla periferia di Torremmaggiore (con ampio parcheggio nelle vicinanze) che mi ha colpito per la cortesia e competenza dello staff.
Cibo: antipasto di pesce infinito (moscardini, ostriche, alici al forno, gamberoni, un paninetto con polpo e cime di rapa da urlo), primi interessanti (su tutti tagliatelle ceci e cozze da urlo) ed una frittura di pesce veramente fresco (calamari, totani, alici)
Prezzo pari a 70 euro compreso vino.

01/01/2026: This is how two pastries ended up: they were spat out because the choux pastry was as hard as concrete and the cream was sour. (I wanted to post the photo but couldn't.) And this is the second time after many years I've bought these pastries, and both times it happened to us. A disappointment since it ruined our taste buds at a New Year's Eve dinner with friends. A tip: take the old pastries home and don't sell them to consumers because, besides making people feel bad, it's unprofessional.
06/09/2025: We bought some pastries without having the possibility of choosing blind... they arrived at home as a surprise... they were not the ones ordered, but pastries that looked very similar to the Sicilian ones... cannoli and cassatine... I lost the will to give more because you don't buy blind... for goodness sake
