26/08/2025: The seafood appetizer consisted of a tasteless tuna tartare, marinated anchovies covered in vinegar to mask who knows what flavors, vacuum-packed store-bought smoked salmon placed on the plate in a balled-up rose shape, boiled cuttlefish salad—the only saving grace was the octopus! Let's move on to the main course: Vieste-style cuttlefish in a slop of sauce and cheese that covered the rest of the flavors. My wife had a tuna steak with sun-dried tomatoes and chopped pistachios on a magnificent bed of iceberg lettuce, but the main problem was that the dish arrived cold and flavorless. We were so disgusted we didn't even ask for an exchange. We were hoping for good fish given the high prices, but instead... Just to top off the terrible service, the waitress asked us if we wanted anything else at the end of the meal and then turned away to do her own thing for several seconds. I strongly advise against it!!!

26/08/2025: We had a mixed grill of fish with a side of grilled vegetables, which was truly excellent. The cheesecake was also delicious for dessert. The staff were impeccably friendly. And at the end of the evening, they even gave us their signature olives as a gift. The wine they recommended was excellent.

10/09/2025: Excellent in every way. The welcoming atmosphere and the extremely friendly staff make you feel at home, pampered, and truly at ease. The pizza is delicious, with well-leavened dough and always fresh, top-quality ingredients. We also had a tagliata, which was tender and cooked to perfection. We've eaten here several times, and what always stands out is the quality of the ingredients and the passion with which they are prepared. Recommended!

30/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. The food is quite good, with a choice of 4/5 excellent first courses and 4/5 excellent second courses, as well as equally good appetizers. We'll definitely return, perhaps even for a simple pizza.

08/09/2025: Not once, not twice, not three times...but for well over 10 years, Skipper has been a regular stop on our August evenings in Vieste. Never a disappointment, never a mistake, all the dishes are always perfect and served to perfection, as per the book. Excellent, high-quality products, as is the preparation. Credit also goes to Claudio, who isn't the usual entrepreneur/owner who stays behind the scenes, but is always on the front lines, welcoming customers and being present at the tables to serve and convey the quality of his work and commitment to his customers. A must-see if you visit Vieste!

25/04/2025: Pizza ottima, lievitata perfettamente, leggera e digeribile. Quella con crema di asparagi e speck è davvero spettacolare! Anche il panzerotto (enorme) è molto buono! Personale gentile e servizio rapido nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Davvero top

21/07/2025: Locale ben curato e pulito… L’unica pecca è il servizio che è da migliorare, mi è capitato molte volte che i camerieri sbagliassero la comanda mettendo in dubbio anche l effettiva consumazione. Attenzione di conseguenza anche allo scontrino perché comanda sbagliata scontrino errato! Ultima osservazione il prezzo dell’ OVI-CUOOP secondo me un po’ alto per quello che offre…alla fine sono piu patatine che altro!

20/08/2025: An impeccable welcome, with a kindness so symbolic of the village in which the restaurant is located. The dishes were excellent, the dessert delicious, and the little limoncello was offered. 🍋 The restaurant's setting is peaceful and wonderful at sunset. Thank you very much.

26/08/2025: I've known this bar for a long time. It's changed names and management to become a place rich in wines. They also have a kitchen. Visiting occasionally is a pleasure. Going in a group can be enjoyable, as the variety of wines allows you to interact with each other to choose a wine you like or know.

15/09/2025: Going "At Sunset" is enjoying one of the most beautiful natural experiences with loved ones, but it's not just the location, the food, the service... it's the whole package. Arriving just before sunset and waiting for the most spectacular view, filling your heart and eyes with thanks to the Good Lord for His Creations, then sitting at your table and being enveloped by the aromas and flavors of the excellent cuisine and pizza, accompanied by talented and smiling staff. Highly recommended, especially for the excellent quality at reasonable prices. Compliments to all the staff, and especially Raffaele.

29/07/2025: A quick stop in a simple and welcoming restaurant. On the way, two first courses made with fresh and flavorful ingredients: cavatelli (real) with eggplant and crispy pancetta, and parcels with cherry tomatoes and stracciatella. It's a shame we can't enjoy this cuisine more...it's worth a return visit!

18/07/2025: Fantastic place. It's been a while since I've eaten so well. Everything was delicious. From the appetizer to the dessert tasting, it was a DELICIOUS culinary journey in every sense of the word. I'm truly thrilled and highly recommend it. The only downside, being disabled, was the steps at the entrance and the small bathroom, but I hope to return. By Ritorna.

03/07/2025: The only thing to say is that let's say that it has nothing of a trattoria so it would be better to just write restaurant, however the food is really good and the dishes are very special, we recommend it 😉

Booking was quick and easy, thanks to the option to make it via WhatsApp and the professionalism of the staff, who offer such efficient and prompt service that it almost seems obvious. The staff was fast, friendly, and always smiling, despite the holidays. The pizza is truly delicious: the menu offers such tempting combinations that you'll want to try them all. One more reason to come back soon! Kudos to the whole team!
