01/10/2025: We stumbled upon this truly fantastic place today. Just above Mattinata, a breathtaking view of the sea and olive groves (it's a shame about the rain, but the view was beautiful nonetheless). Lunch included an excellent plate of orecchiette allo scoglio (seafood orecchiette) and a homemade dessert made with almonds and lemon cream. Excellent. The welcome was extraordinary, the people were kind and cheerful. I highly recommend it.

25/09/2025: I highly recommend Scarpetta D'oro. This simply enchanting place offers a view of the beautiful Mattinata and its fantastic sea. The atmosphere excites and makes you enjoy lunch or dinner from the moment you arrive. Spacious yet intimate. I want to give a special compliment to the owner, who is very polite, kind, friendly, and above all professional. The food is a culinary adventure. We obviously had seafood for lunch. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the dishes were well-proportioned, allowing you to savor the true flavor of the sea. There was no wait. We were welcomed and pampered until the very end. I highly recommend this place. I will be back very soon and will definitely return many times.

08/09/2025: Excellent wine bar in the center of Peschici, you can drink and eat very well and refined. Francesco's company is pleasant and makes the atmosphere pleasant.

06/10/2025: What can I say? The rustic atmosphere is excellent food and Saverio, the owner, is a friendly person who pays great attention to food. Saverio is a unique person.

03/10/2025: We saw a menu on Google, but when we arrived we were told there was no menu. We ordered dishes from a list offered to us by the owner of the place and received a very expensive and unreasonable bill, very disappointing.

02/10/2025: The owner was friendly and welcoming, but the experience left a bad taste. We ordered two pastas (mushroom and gorgonzola), a mixed salad, a very small beef fillet, and one espresso. The food was average, portions small, and the bill came to €75. Way overpriced for what you get. Feels authentic at first, but the pricing is not honest.

12/09/2025: I finally managed to have lunch at this restaurant with my family. The tasting menu offers a fixed price, perfectly in line with the quality and number of courses. The chef, the host, personally comes to the table to chat with guests, which we greatly appreciated. It allowed us to share ideas and created a convivial and joyful atmosphere. I applaud the use of borage, both fried and parmigiana-style, which is truly exquisite.

31/08/2025: The hospitality you receive from Peppe Zullo at his restaurant is unparalleled. He makes you feel right at home! Simple, seasonal dishes made with the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend a lunch with the maestro for a relaxing, convivial experience.

29/08/2025: During the patron saint's day, we stopped for dinner at this small restaurant, which has no outdoor seating. It was a gamble, considering other options in the area are highly recommended, but it paid off with flying colors. We ate deliciously at a reasonable price. If you're looking for a quiet spot for a pleasant evening with excellent seafood, don't hesitate; give it a try. There's also a large parking lot not far away, near the sea, which makes everything easier.

09/08/2025: A seafood trattoria with excellent specialties. We ordered two appetizers (including the stuffed mussels, which we thoroughly enjoyed), two first courses, and a grilled fish dish. The portions were so generous we couldn't finish them. Service was prompt and unpretentious. The location could be improved, but it's more than adequate for a trattoria. Overall, good food and very reasonable prices!

27/09/2025: It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place for a wonderful dinner. The food itself – mainly fish and seafood – is truly excellent, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The freshly baked, delicious bread is also a real highlight. Add to that the fantastic atmosphere and the attentive service, and you'll have a truly unforgettable experience. But the tables with your feet in the sand are the icing on the cake. We'd love to come back! Grazie mille!

03/10/2025: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The dishes are tasty, plentiful, and the price, so far, is fair. Unfortunately, prices in the area tend to rise every year, and I really hope the same doesn't happen here, because it would be a shame to ruin such a place. If the prices stay the same, I think this place fully deserves five stars: central location, friendly staff, and truly satisfying cuisine.

22/09/2025: Dining at this osteria was like visiting a friend's home, welcomed by Patrizia's kindness and pampered by excellent dishes featuring ancient flavors, lovingly prepared by Pierluigi. I recommend this experience to anyone passing through San Severo. I'll be back.

13/08/2025: Don't be fooled by the front door; I thought I'd come across the wrong address. However, once inside, we were greeted by the friendly couple who run this welcoming place. We discovered this place by chance and were rewarded by our curiosity. They serve simply prepared dishes; those seeking sophistication would be better off choosing something else, but it's perfect for ordinary people who expect basic, hearty food just like at home. We ordered a first course and a side dish since we were passing through for lunch, but they also had excellent second courses. The atmosphere is family-friendly, not very large, air-conditioned, and the kitchen is open. Prices are fair. I saw a guitar somewhere and some song scores: I'd love to return to spend a few hours with friends. I recommend everyone try this easily accessible trattoria.

17/09/2025: A welcoming atmosphere with meticulous attention to detail. Spacious tables and comfortable chairs. The host, Simone, is kind and knowledgeable. He continually trains to stay up-to-date and bring delicious, refined food to the table. There's always something new on the menu at this Ovineria. The waiters are knowledgeable and courteous.
