17/11/2024: Local located in the external part of the inhabited village, located more or less three kilometers from the city center. When you arrive you can read the writing (not illuminated), but you could certainly do better to highlight the restaurant which however is "forgiven" internally. Three rooms where you can welcome diners. Tables and mice and place good at times elegant. All friendly, helpful staff. Very fast and effective service. The top is represented by the kitchen. All the dishes, truly all genuine, good and well prepared. Thanks certainly to the cuisine but also to the raw materials. Absolutely promoted. Prices slightly above average for a tavern, but worth the expense. Advised

10/04/2025: If you have the opportunity to pass by this place, the food, the setting and the service are very simple, but my god it is good. If you want to taste flavors and tastes typical of the region… this is it! Ask for example as a starter, eggs with local sausage and lard (nsongnie in the local dialect).

02/11/2024: All good, from the first to the second courses. Sea-flavoured troccoli with a rich seasoning. The fried calamari is dry and tastes good. The mixed grill was for my celiac mother who had no problem requesting gluten-free dishes.

05/01/2025: Unfortunately not positive. The room was very old but that would be nothing if we had at least managed to take a shower. Impracticable. The water is ice cold and boiling in the space of a few seconds. Impossible to wash. In the sink a previously forgotten toothbrush cap didn't let the water flow. The 5 euro buffet breakfast with pancakes and biscuits packaged with a powdered coffee machine. Location not easy to reach to get to the Sanctuary. Unfortunately I don't recommend it and I wouldn't go back.

22/03/2025: Incredibly beautiful location and the beach just got cleaned of all the tree branches and rubbish (on March 20th-21st, 2025). It's open all year round. The beach bar and chairs are not available off season - I think somebody mentioned they open in May. You can hear the waves from your camper. 20 eur/night in March (cash/online by card (text the owner on Whatsapp for the link)), all included except shower (1 eur/2.5 mins - quite expensive), we didn't use it and used our own instead. You need coins for the shower and it said "only 1 euro" so perhaps only 1 euro coins accepted. There is good drinking water. The price for camping goes up as summer approaches, and the maximum is in August, 30 eur/night and the electricity is paid separately (3 eur and only in August if I remember well). We didn't try but the owner showed us a restaurant open from 19:30 at 15 mins walk, you can see it from the camping. We cooked in the camper, the power was enough to support our 1300w airfryer with no problem. Kind English speaking owners. Place well kept. Would definitely love to come back!

04/04/2025: Sunday salvation! On Sunday, when I wake up and don't feel like cooking or going out, I know it's ready on the table. Tasty dishes that save me time without sacrificing quality. Perfect for those, like me, looking for something good without too many commitments. I recommend the lasagna.

18/02/2025: I contacted Il Sombrero, a family-run restaurant, to celebrate my 50th birthday. I spoke with Michele (the owner's son) to decide on the fish-based menu and he professionally advised me on the choice of courses. Excellent menu from starters to dessert. Fresh ingredients, honest prices and impeccable service, staff always helpful and kind. I thank all the staff for giving me a perfect day.
