22/08/2025: While passing through Salento, fate gifted us this magnificent experience in a truly magical place. The rooms once inhabited by Frederick II of Swabia have been transformed into a true gastronomic gem. Michele is a delightful host, and Patrizio is a young chef with exquisite taste. Local ingredients are exquisitely presented. Prices are reasonable for the quality. The location alone is worth a visit; with everything else, I'd say it's a must-see for anyone visiting the wonderful region of Puglia. Bravo!

20/08/2025: The fish is very good and innovative, with a lot of imagination and originality that doesn't exist in this part of the country. It was really good, we were amazed. My compliments to the staff, we will gladly return. Congratulations!

11/10/2025: We had lunch at Hotel Vittoria and, as always, it was an excellent experience! The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the service is impeccable. We appreciated their friendliness from the moment we arrived: they let us park and use the restroom before returning for lunch, everything was perfectly organized. It's now a regular stop for us—every time a testament to the quality and hospitality.

06/10/2025: Yesterday, having arrived by car at the Padre Pio Shrine, we began to search for a parking lot. We soon found a very small (and full) lot. There, we met a gentleman who "advised" us to continue about 30 meters further and enter the (guarded!) parking lot of the Hotel Vittoria, on the condition, of course, that we stop for lunch (either directly or by advance reservation). He handed us a sort of flyer that, among other things, highlighted a set menu for €25. A little skeptical but enthusiastic about the parking lot located a few steps from the Shrine, rather than the menu (given the cost, it didn't bode well), we immediately accepted the offer. From there, it was a succession of pleasant surprises: - the kindness and friendliness of all the hotel staff, including those in the dining room; - the waiters were outnumbered by the number of tables (which we found were all occupied!), resulting in impeccable, attentive, and fast service; - simple yet varied, plentiful, and delicious dishes; - mineral water in a glass bottle (which we opened ourselves) and carafe wine, included in the price; - cleanliness in everything we saw. Furthermore, the facility has a convenient, free-standing external staircase or, alternatively, an elevator (for 50 cents) that leads directly to the street, saving those wishing to reach the Sanctuary a hundred meters or more of a steep and tiring climb. Practically everyone. This is fantastic! Last but not least, we left our car around 11:30 AM and picked it up at 6:00 PM with the facility's approval. Congratulations for the professionalism expressed in efficiency, quality, and the commendable honesty of the service.

07/10/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. The food is excellent, and the owner (Giovanni) always gives the best recommendations. He's always available and cheerful. The grilled mussels are exceptional, but Giovanni won't reveal his recipe.

04/04/2025: Sunday salvation! On Sunday, when I wake up and don't feel like cooking or going out, I know it's ready on the table. Tasty dishes that save me time without sacrificing quality. Perfect for those, like me, looking for something good without too many commitments. I recommend the lasagna.

17/09/2025: An extraordinary takeout pizzeria. As for me, the Ortolana pizza is now on my regular menu, and it's truly delicious. Fresh ingredients, tasty and easy-to-digest dough, and friendly and helpful staff. A must-try.

The staff is friendly and makes you feel right at home. I'll definitely be back, because here, pizza isn't just food, it's an experience.”

18/05/2025: Il ristorante per antonomasia. Gestione familiare, tutto a base di pesce fresco sia cotto che crudite'. Bere da cantine rinnomate, servizio severo e umile. Prezzi alla portata. Parcheggio nei paraggi. Buona pulizia. Pochi tavoli, lavorano su prenotazione. Struttura molto consigliata. Maggio 2025.

23/09/2025: We went to Peperone in the city and I have to say it was a truly pleasant experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is kind and helpful. I chose the pizza by the slice and it was a real surprise: light and crispy dough, fresh, quality ingredients, a perfect balance of flavors. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an excellent pizzeria in the city.

03/04/2025: I entered the restaurant and was greeted warmly. They immediately brought us menus, and my family and I ordered two mixed fried fish appetizers for two. I ordered a mergellina pizza, while my family ordered two Peppa Pigs. The pizza was made with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto. The pizzas arrived promptly, and my meggese was filled with prosciutto. It was delicious. The waitress and the owner were super friendly, and when they brought the pizza, they said, "Good pizza!"—something other pizzerias don't usually say. The atmosphere was beautiful, clean, and quiet.

26/05/2025: Entrare alla Cometa significa entrare in un ambiente familiare, accogliente, genuino. Il servizio è veloce e le pizze sono squisite. I proprietari, sempre sorridenti, mettono particolare attenzione sul servizio. Un piacere trovare rifugio alla Cometa ogni volta.

12/04/2025: Di passaggio con le moto insieme ad un mio caro amico, abbiamo provato quedto bar - tavola calda e pasticceria. Abbiamo preso un caffè e un dolcetto al pistacchio: tutto molto buono e personale ( forse la proprietaria) molto gentile, simpatica e professionale. Il caffè davvero Top! Alla prossima sicuramente... Locale consigliato.

27/03/2025: Excellent pizza, wide choice of flavours. Polite and prepared staff. Order placed by telephone, on arrival it was ready with a punctuality to the second! Normal prices, but given the quality and goodness I would highly recommend it.
