11/10/2025: Excellent experience. I had lunch at this delicatessen with a kitchen. The smoked and unsmoked burrata were excellent. The table service was pleasant, friendly, and provided excellent information about the dishes. I had a truly delicious Parma ham, cut into chunks. I finished with a traditional Bari-style rice, potatoes, and mussels. It was my first time trying this dish. Good.

14/04/2026: For at least 40 years, this restaurant and pizzeria has been a landmark not only for the small town in which it's located but also for many surrounding towns. Traditional Apulian appetizers, carefully prepared homemade pickles and pickles, earthenware terrines filled with all sorts of delicacies cooked in the open-fire oven, outstanding pizza and "schattata," baked orecchiette in earthenware that alone are worth the visit, along with the variety of beers. It's certainly worth the trip a few kilometers: the inconvenience is well worth it.

12/04/2026: In the heart of Sannicandro di Bari, hidden in a dead-end street from which it takes its name, lies Il Nascondiglio: one of the town's most historic establishments, established for nearly forty years. Entering is a bit like stepping back in time. Here, everything has remained as it was: from the tables to the benches, unchanged since its founding, contributing to a simple, informal, and deeply convivial atmosphere. And it is precisely this consistency, this loyalty to its identity, that has allowed it to resist trends without ever losing its charm. The cuisine follows the same philosophy: few frills and plenty of substance. The dishes showcase the region with authentic, bold flavors that leave their mark. The pizza, with its thick dough and lack of the modern honeycomb crust, is reminiscent of homemade pizza: a choice that may not appeal to everyone, but it remains digestible and consistent with the restaurant's style. The real advice is to let yourself be guided by the first courses and, above all, the tripe chop, the true highlight and most refined item on the menu. The bill is more than fair, allowing you to leave feeling full and satisfied. P.S. There's no phone signal in the depths of the restaurant... but, come to think of it, that's perhaps the detail that completes the experience: here you truly dine in peace 😂

28/02/2026: A wonderful experience. Excellent quality ingredients. We had appetizers, a meat main course, and a homemade dessert. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly, and the price was fair for what we ate. We'll definitely be back.

14/02/2026: I've been there for dinner several times in the past few years, even celebrating a birthday, and I've always been satisfied. In my opinion, the place was elegant and very welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere. This time, however, I noticed a decline compared to my previous experiences. It was a pre-arranged dinner with a pre-determined menu; I didn't get to choose what to eat. The appetizers were pleasant, however, but the sliced ​​steak was lukewarm, poorly seasoned, and the meat was full of fat. A sorbet and a dessert followed. The price honestly didn't justify the quality and quantity. A shame. Nothing to complain about the staff, who were friendly and very professional.

20/09/2025: A wonderful experience. I loved everything about it and it fully met my expectations. The price of breakfast is commensurate with the quality of the ingredients and the deliciousness of the preparations. The service also deserves special mention. I highly recommend it.

06/09/2025: Ristorante Lilith is one of these place where you arrive and right away feel comfortable, the family owned restaurant just gives you the atmosphere of being at a friends place. The food is amazing and the same goes for the service. They‘re really friendly and professional. I definitely recommend to share as many dishes as possible so you can try more of these amazingly fresh plates where you taste every single ingredient.

21/04/2026: Definitely busy based on their Spaghetti all'assassina basically fried spaghetti with a little heat (less than anticipated). Make sure to have a reservation. Wine is cheaper by quantify - order a litre. Other pasta is very flavourful.

13/04/2026: We had two coffees and were charged two euros for service. It's the first time in my life I've been charged table service just for sitting down to drink a coffee. And we didn't even get the cheapest one. And, truth be told, it gets worse: on the menu, table service costs 50 cents. The owner's indignant expression (because we weren't tourists and dared to take a table in his bar) when he asked us to pay spoke volumes; he let off steam by charging us double the cover charge. Apparently, he hasn't learned how to treat locals.

01/04/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance because it was close to the B&B where I was staying. A lovely surprise. The Materana pizza was excellent, although a bit "challenging"... when you call it a one-dish meal!!! A nice draft beer, followed by a dessert (brought up to temperature with a quick trip to the oven!) and a house liqueur!! The price was absolutely in line with the amount of food! Helpful and friendly staff. WELL DONE!!!

29/03/2026: First of all, I'm a regular customer of this pizzeria. I know the owner Francesco, and his professionalism and kindness are unmatched. About fifteen years ago, in my opinion, it was one of the best pizzerias I'd tried. I often went there on weekends with my family.... The pizzas were, in my opinion, among the best I'd tasted in the area. Then, unfortunately (I'm speaking for myself) something has changed in this place in recent years: the menu style has completely changed, with few pizzas on the menu at completely different prices. The usual drinks I used to order are no longer available, replaced with artisanal ones. In short, a radical change, which I personally didn't appreciate. But on a sour note, unfortunately, returning to the pizzas....because they're no longer like a few years ago but rather Cartavelina style...very fine, and very EXPENSIVE!! All the menu prices have completely doubled. Certainly for a family with dependent children... I don't even want to imagine the final bill. In fact, I've noticed that the Saturday clientele has changed, I've seen many groups of young people... Finally, drawing my conclusions, I don't think I'll go there again!

25/01/2026: Discovered by chance through an invitation to spend New Year's Eve lunch, it was truly a discovery of a place where everything is meticulously curated, elegant for its kind, with excellent service, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and top-quality food and wine. It's impossible to say which dish was the best because, having tried a little bit of everything from everyone, I found every dish well-prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious, despite being at a table with a large group. What can I say? I'll be back as soon as possible, even outside of any celebration.
