27/08/2024: Al Coltello a Bari was an excellent choice! The staff was extremely kind and attentive to our needs, even though we arrived late. The tartares were truly amazing and the sandwiches were delicious. TheFork discount was applied without any problem. Only note: it would be nice to see a better selection of beers, perhaps avoiding Peroni 😉. Overall, a fantastic experience!

21/08/2024: Premessa: è complicato prenotare, ma ne vale la pena. Trattoria tenuta in maniera maniacale, ha una trentina di posti a sedere e quindi il locale si riempie presto, difficile che faccia un secondo turno. Tradotto fa il minimo indispensabile! Ma lo fa in maniera eccellente e si vede che ci mette cuore e passione. Dopo una giornata passata inutilmente a provare a chiamare siam passati alle 19:30 per vedere se il titolare ci facesse accomodare, aveva già tutto prenotato, ma visto che avevamo una bambina con noi ci ha promesso che appena si liberava il primo tavolo ci avrebbe servito. Aspettare ne è valsa la pena. Abbiam preso un tagliere misto ed è stata la prima piacevole scoperta, una composizione buonissima che abbiam divorato in due. Poi abbiam preso un orecchietta al sugo per la bambina, un orecchietta alle rape ed un piatto del giorno (tortelli con ripieno in salsa di funghi e burrata)... spettacolari. Credo che pure i secondi piatti fossero eccezionali, ma eravamo già pieni ed abbiamo optato per un semifreddo al cioccolato con ripieno ai fichi (per chiudere in bellezza). Prezzi modici e sicuramente bassi per la qualità mangiata. Da provare.

24/07/2024: Even though I don't live nearby, I'm happy to come back every time I can because I think it's absolutely one of the best pizzas in the province. The pizza is tasty and light at the same time. For a few months there has also been a wide choice of pucce with unique combinations (oh my goodness, that fig sauce 😍). Very kind staff and very nice environment. What can I say, on Friday evenings it's only on Castle Street.

24/07/2024: Excellent overall experience, in addition to being a nice place, in my opinion the real strong point is the service, very efficient and professional but at the same time easy-going and jovial... in short, as I wanted it. Last but not least, the bill which turned out to be more than honest for the pizzas, including a gluten-free one and the sandwiches ordered. 27/07/2024: Absolutely to go there and return! Excellent service, staff always present and very kind, everything delicious from the wine to the appetizers up to the bombette, sausage and strips of capocollo and dessert! Very quiet place to enjoy a relaxing dinner! I can not wait to come back!

17/08/2024: After booking and going to the facility we were informed that due to a technical fault the outside tables were no longer available. Too bad that in the reservation it was specified that the booked table was reserved inside. When the issue was raised with the staff, the response was "it must have been an error on the part of the administration". Checking the incoming emails shows an email sent by the staff regarding technical problems related to the outdoor area and consequent cancellation of the tables outside. Unfortunately, since our reservation specified a reserved seat inside, it was obvious to think that it would not involve us. An unprofessional and inappropriate attitude for a place that wants to aspire to an image that, probably, with these "distractions" it cannot afford.

14/08/2024: It's my second visit. Excellent experience this time. Not that the first one wasn't enjoyable too, but I still had some doubts. In reality, I have understood that traveling "à la carte" always gives me a better experience than the tasting menu (a choice that I almost always prefer on the first visit). I found greater balance and maturity in all the proposals. A level of the (numerous) amuse bouche at times higher than the main courses. On all dishes, the orange sweetbreads and raw prawns shine. Also mentionable for the beer-glazed turcinieddhi. If a note must be made, the desserts (for my taste) are a step below everything that precedes. And what follows, given that the real sweet note is pleasantly left by the amuse bouche that closes the journey. Selection of wines and spirits up to the level now achieved. Trained and present staff. Adequate prices. Absolutely deserved star.
