03/10/2025: Last night, my son, Christian, and I visited this wonderful place, "MASSERIA SPINA RESTAURANT." Everything was perfect: delicious food, impeccable service, and a friendly atmosphere. Fresh tuna and cod tartare with creamed turnip greens as an appetizer (all excellent). For starters, amberjack-filled ravioli with creamed zucchini and herb breadcrumbs, and fusillone pasta with creamed roasted eggplant with caciotta cheese and pine nuts, and for the main course, a truly fresh, light, and crispy fried fish platter. All washed down with an excellent "Minutolo" (a variety of aromatic grape, grown since 1200 in Southern Italy), recommended by the knowledgeable staff. We'll definitely be back again and enjoy your fabulous, well-stocked wine cellar.

Nestled in the greenery, away from traffic, the osteria allows you to relax and offer a culinary experience reminiscent of Sunday lunches of yesteryear. The dishes are prepared with love and in abundance, the meat cooked to perfection, all served by a staff of humble, helpful, kind, and hard-working people. Let's not always forget those on the other side and the commitment they put into every meal. I hope I've given you a glimpse, a nuance, or a vision of what awaits you at this place should you want to try it. I'll be back to see if there's the opportunity to take a stroll around the surrounding area and enjoy the greenery. Finally, I think the prices are average.

30/03/2026: La Piccola Locanda is one of those rare discoveries that make you feel like a guest in someone else's home, in the best sense of the word. A simple, no-frills establishment, where the focus is on the authentic cuisine and the owners' warmth. From the first moment, you feel welcomed with genuine friendliness and helpfulness: the owners are always ready to accommodate guests' requests, with the flexibility typical of those who cook with passion, not pressure. The cuisine is honest, homey, made with fresh ingredients and traditional preparations that taste of the region. One of the restaurant's strengths is its value for money: the food is good, with satisfying portions, at truly fair prices, an increasingly rare occurrence. A place to return to, especially if you're looking for authenticity far from the tourist trail.

25/03/2026: A restaurant serving home-style food, with no menu. The owner and cook, Magdalena, shows you the dishes on display. We had three different dishes, all well-prepared and delicious 👌👌, and a homemade dessert, along with house wine and coffee. We all left very satisfied, even with the price (€40). The facilities could be improved, including the restrooms.

08/01/2026: We stopped in for lunch because we were passing through. The place is beautiful and very quiet. The menu has some good options. The pasta with tomato sauce for the kids was exceptional. The first course with sausage, mushrooms, and pumpkin was good, but lacked the sweetness of the pumpkin and was too salty. The horse fillet was good but overcooked for my taste, and the side potatoes were also too salty. The wine selection by the glass was good, but a bit pricey. Excellent service. All in all, I would gladly return to try the tasting menu.

It offers a refined culinary experience, based on the highest quality and freshest ingredients, combining unique flavors through both traditional and innovative preparation techniques and impeccable aesthetic presentation of the dishes, transforming the meal into a complete artistic and sensorial experience, confirming the positive reviews online. 01/01/2026: Wow wow wow. First of all, the food was fantastic, some of the best that my parents and I have had since our stay in Italy. Speaking of the best, the customer service was top tier, specifically the waiter with the glasses on (working dinner 1/1/26), we didn’t feel rushed, we were helped, checked up on, but also not constantly harassed. The cocktails were obviously good and surprisingly big serve. Yes it is somewhat pricey, but it could be worse and you definitely get what you pay for. My only critique was having to sit next to the bathroom, but someone has to lol. Thanks Momento for the lovely night!

01/01/2026: Superb focaccia from Bari! Service is quite fast and is done by picking up a number at the vending machine. The staff could do with being more welcoming. I've been there twice already, and the ladies aren't exactly the friendliest...

Excellent food, from the appetizers (plenty) to the first courses, from the excellent mixed roast to the desserts, and finally, good wine and liqueurs. Impeccable and friendly service. Very rustic-chic location and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth repeating.

We are a group of six pilgrims and we found the service to be friendly, kind, and efficient; the dishes were amazing, all served and accompanied by good wine and "verdeca," a specialty! Saverio Leone is a fantastic person, efficient, and extremely friendly. Highly recommended.

11/04/2026: I went based on several recommendations and was very disappointed. The customer service is TERRIBLE. I asked for half a piece of focaccia that was left, and instead of explaining things properly, the older woman working there interrupted my conversation with the other girl who was serving me, saying that I either had to take the whole piece or not. The rest of the transaction was completely unspoken—no thank you, no goodbye, nothing. Very unpleasant. The focaccia was ice cold. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth after having had a wonderful day in Polignano. I don't recommend it.

03/12/2025: This little focaccia we discovered in Polignano a Mare was truly wonderful. We tried the tomato focaccia, a Puglia specialty, and it was delicious. Seeing how popular the place was, we were curious to try it, and I'm so glad we did. Although small and crowded, the delicious flavors made it all worth it. We felt lucky to have chosen this place.
