18/02/2025: A truly fantastic experience! I attended one of the cooking classes and was thrilled with it. Each evening has a different theme, which makes each meeting unique and always interesting. The environment is welcoming and convivial, perfect for relaxing and having fun while learning something new. The owner is a kind and friendly person, capable of putting everyone at ease and conveying his passion for cooking in an engaging way. You really learn a lot, but without ever losing the pleasure of being together and experimenting. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to improve their cooking skills in an informal and pleasant atmosphere!

18/01/2025: They described this place to me as a modest pizzeria....but I can assure you that the food is very good, the service is impeccable and the prices are very competitive. The really tasty panissa alla Vercellese, the Piedmontese fondue, the bunnet... all fantastic. Compliments

21/12/2024: A magnificent Villa managed impeccably by the splendid and genuine Benedetta! Today we spent a wonderful day in the company of all Benedetta's beautiful furry friends. The place is enchanting surrounded by nature in an oasis of peace. There is also a swimming pool to have fun in! If I had known her before, my wife and I would have gotten married here. We will definitely celebrate the anniversary. The rooms where you stay are beautiful and historic. I can't wait to go back! Thanks again Benedetta you are a truly special person!

23/01/2025: RIVA VALDOBBIA - ALPE LARECCHIO Another repeated "pilgrimage"... due to the great beauty of this plain at 1900 m above sea level. By car as far as possible, on weekdays there is a place at Ca' di Janzo, otherwise earlier, and then continue on foot. The road, which decades ago was a mule track already between the Janzo huts, is now asphalted up to Ca' S.Antonio, but at times the old path runs just above the road and allows for a more natural walk. Just below the Peccia, a small lake invites you to stop, then Peccia always offers impressive views, as well as, just beyond the last huts, at the top of a short climb, the Oratory of San Grato, 1529 m, with a plaque in memory of Giacomo Clerino, first custodian of the Sottile Hospice, who died here under an avalanche in 1870. Continue across the Napoleonic bridge and go up on the right, touching the Montata huts and higher up the chapel of the Madonna del Lancone. A few hundred meters follow until in the larch scrub, at around 1800 m altitude, the signs invite you to go up on the left (if you continue straight you would go to Sottile) and after ten minutes the magnificent "oasis" of the Larecchio plain reveals itself to our eyes , and from here the desire to take photos suddenly increases. The trip in August is an immersion in greenery, in mid-late October an explosion of red-golden colours. The farm is open in summer, managed by the family. Carmellino, the father was custodian of the Sottile from 1954 to 1991 (the Carmellinos are mentioned by Alessandro Orsi in his book on the history of the Hospice), and now he is here too. It's a shame not to be able to share the scents of the cuisine too... An obligatory ritual is to travel around the entire plain to the lake, just hidden by a morainic remnant, not forgetting to admire, albeit in the distance, the Corno Bianco and to look for more below the old Rissuolo refuge and the new refuge. Famine at Alpe Pile, semi-hidden but identifiable, the photos of which are in my review of Corno Bianco. Some chamois and ibex also appeared to me, always on the Corno side. A small pair of binoculars is invaluable here! You no longer feel tired here, just a bit of sadness comes over you when the watch advises you to start descending. I found slides from 30 years ago taken from above, I took off on a paraglider from the Ospizio Sottile, I passed over the Larecchio vertically, I remember it as a beautiful experience.

04/01/2025: Questo rifugio per noi è stato una grandissima delusione.Prenotiamo il giorno prima per tre persone tutto confermato. Arriviamo il giorno seguente dopo 3 ore di passeggiata in salita con diverse zone ghiacciate esausti e ci dicono che non hanno salvato la prenotazione e ci hanno fatto mangiare all' esterno al freddo con addosso tutto il sudore della camminata. Davvero poco accoglienti e poco organizzati, non hanno fatto niente per accoglierci malgrado avessero sbagliato loro a non segnare la prenotazione. Mai più!

21/02/2025: I went with my husband a month ago, we had a good time. Lots of choice on the menu. Excellent dishes and good service even if the place is a simple trattoria of the past. We will definitely be back. The dishes are all traditional Piedmontese. Excellent value for money

18/03/2025: Siamo stati invitati dai nostri amici. Non conoscevo questo ristorante. L’ambiente é accogliente. Il menù offre sia carne che pesce. Abbiamo provato entrambi. Tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato era buono ma non eccellente. Là tartare di carne era fresca ma ha preso un po’ di odore dal frigo dove la carne viene conservata. La panissa era buonissima. I ravioli di capesabte molto buoni. Il sugo un po’ troppo liquido, forse andava scolata Meglio la pasta. Salmone ottimo Fritto misto di pesce perfetto. Non abbiamo mangiato i dolci Il vino? Una buona etichetta è servito alla giusta temperatura Il servizio? Preciso. Essendo pranzo non di lavoro va benissimo con tempi che non siano ultra rapidi
