05/10/2025: Good pizzas, then we ordered grilled vegetables and a dessert.....the portions were very small for the price asked.

24/02/2026: We had lunch for four at midday. As anticipated, we chose a charcuterie board, which was truly excellent and of high quality. We then ordered two plates of tomato gnocchi: delicious, made with fresh tomatoes; the only flaw was the presence of some tomato peels. We continued with the polenta with sausage and mushrooms, very good and a generous portion, and the tagliatelle with mushrooms, also very good and plentiful. We concluded the meal with a delicious apple strudel and a bonet, which was good, although in my opinion slightly overcooked. The staff was friendly. I would just like to offer one piece of advice: the sliced ​​bread should be served separately from the packets of breadsticks. Overall, we ate well.

25/02/2026: Look at this attached receipt and you'll understand why I got a 1☆ rating.....€2 for a SIMPLE 0.50L BOTTLE of natural mineral water, of an unknown brand, for 20 cents at the supermarket....€5 for a simple HOT CHOCOLATE, with sufficient flavor and density.....€2.80 for a ginseng coffee in a large cup, watered down....but we're only in the SUNA-VB square, which although beautiful... ....is NOT Piazza S. Marco in Venice!!.....I don't recommend it.... .......SHAME ON YOU!!

23/02/2026: We ate there on Sunday, February 22nd. It took a very long time before anyone had time to take our order. We ordered lasagna (which was unfortunately cold and therefore didn't taste good) and tagliatelle al ragu (which was tasteless). The price was unjustifiable for both the service and the food!

18/08/2025: Perfect for a drink and a swim in the lake. You can also rent SUPs, etc. - unfortunately, we didn't have time for that.

14/08/2025: A lovely, quiet spot on the lake with comfortable, affordable lounge chairs. You can eat and drink, rent subs, go water skiing, etc. It's a nice, relaxing spot. Dogs are welcome in a designated area.

03/01/2026: The service was extremely disappointing. We had to wait forever for water, food, and the bill… no apology, no explanation. The food was okay, but having to wait that long for it was definitely not worth it.

07/11/2025: We went for an aperitif at the Lo Scalo restaurant. It had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. We sat inside, which was well-heated, and ordered the platter of cured meats and cheeses. The flavors were excellent, authentic, and of high quality. The fried gnocco was SUPERB!!!! The seafood spaghetti was delicious, as were the fillet steak and the pizza. In short, everything was perfect. The kindness of the waiter and the sweetness of the owner were unique on Lake Maggiore. We'll gladly return to be pampered again. Highly recommended.

23/02/2026: Pasta with mushrooms and sausage... A real shame... No sausage whatsoever, just canned mushrooms. A real disappointment.

12/02/2026: The pizza is disgusting, even though the prices are supposedly low (but with a cover charge for a piece of paper on the table). Not recommended.

30/10/2025: We had a delicious meal and they were very considerate of our gluten allergies. One of the few places with gluten-free pasta. Fantastic!

26/10/2025: We came here on a recommendation. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. They even accepted orders for dishes not on the menu (though the price was a bit higher than expected). But it was delicious, home-cooked. During our week in Stresa, we visited many cafes and restaurants in the city and can say that this pizzeria is definitely worth a visit. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Happy business!

18/09/2025: 3 medium beers (2 IPAs + 1 Weiss) without even a potato chip, an olive, nothing at all.... 23 euros. An average IPA for 8 euros is crazy.

07/01/2026: Not bad. The quality/price ratio is good. Unfortunately, being a pizzeria, pizza doesn't seem to be available often except on Sundays or in the evenings. Choosing the meat and fish menu, we can't say we had a bad meal. It's a shame the pandemonium of people made it difficult to converse at a normal volume. Perhaps it was due to the other restaurants being closed for the winter, but the fact remains that there was plenty of noise, and the service was a bit slow and distracted. Probably due to the overload of the clearly understaffed staff.

16/10/2025: We were able to enjoy the view of the lake during our stay. The pizza we ordered wasn't as tasty as we'd hoped... canned mushrooms (!) and the dough? So-so. Service: There was service, but it was somewhat lackluster and disinterested. A feast for the eyes is also part of the experience. I wouldn't go there again.

16/10/2025: The location right on the lake is impressive. The pizza taste was less impressive. Mediocre at best. While well-topped, it was extremely bland, which is a shame. And Jan is right, canned mushrooms are a no-go.

22/10/2025: I celebrated my 50th birthday! Mrs. Lorella and Mr. Matteo were immediately available to answer my questions. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful. I was treated like a queen! Thank you, and see you soon!

27/07/2025: Leuk restaurant waar je vooral vlees moet eten want de keuze is uitgebreid. Alles komt in een vlot tempo aan tafel, de bediening is hartelijk. L’onglet was super mals en heel lekker. Na een uur stonden we al weer buiten. Gezellige sfeer.

Tagliere di affettati di ottima qualità,forse un po' caro ....rispetto a quanto offerto. Primi piatti ottimi, materie prime di qualità e porzioni giuste. Dolce buono. Da tenere presente!

12/10/2025: Perfect location and friendly staff, but the place is bare and poorly maintained. The most absurd thing is the insane prices. A cappuccino costs €4.50, a water €3, and a tiny tart like the packaged ones costs €4.50. Not even on Isola Bella or Isola Madre did you find these steal prices. Avoid.

05/10/2025: A beautiful location on the lakeside promenade, quiet, well-shaded with adequate umbrellas and a small covered veranda with a perfect view of the lake and its islands. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful lunch: a perfectly cooked entrecote and a slice of beef, along with excellent homemade desserts. The prices are a bit higher than other similar establishments, but the menu is displayed outside and you can consult it before entering. We went, and if we ever return, we'll definitely return. Money well spent for a great experience and delicious food.

19/10/2025: I rated this location as 3 stars for several reasons. First, we reserved a table on their website which was easy and worked well, but once we go up to the restaurant parking was nearly impossible. One of the waitresses had to let me park behind her car otherwise there were no other parking available. Once in the restaurant it is nice and clean. They charge you 1,50€ per person bread and service according to information on their menu, however we received no bread and service was limited. As for the food it was nothing special. I had the lasagna with sausage and afterwards my stomach was not well. My wife had an appetizer which she said was okay, nothing special. Our son had the noodles with ragou and it was quite small being an adult portion. Our daughter had the kids schnitzel and that was probably the largest meal on the table. The pictures I posted are deceiving due to how close i held the camera. At the end of our meal we spent nearly 80€. Being that we had far superior meals at other restaurants in the area where we are staying and paid about the same, this was extremely disappointing for the price and the effort to get here.

12/10/2025: Very friendly staff, cold place but the two stars are due to the price. You can't pay 90 euros for two people for a lunch menu, an appetizer, cold cuts and cheeses with supermarket food. Two slices of pork, a glass of wine, a beer and tap water. It's too expensive and cannot be justified. We won't go there again. It's a shame.
