25/07/2025: Un Spritz Aperol quasi « Virgin »… ultra light. Une cuisine un peu bâclée. Des aubergines grillées à peine assaisonnées et manquant un peu de cuisson. La panacota à 6,50€ qui ne Ressemble pas à grand chose : 2/3 d’une petite verrine remplie d’une simple crème épaissie, sans coulis ni garniture!!! Ridicule en taille comparée au tiramisu qui lui est correct! Et pour clôturer, le serveur en chef qui se paye ma tête lorsque je lui exprime ma déception par rapport au dessert!!!

01/08/2025: Non si può negare che bere un aperitivo a bordo lago non ha prezzo. Quindi i 3 punti per il luogo e la gentilezza del cameriere. Poi però ordini un Franciacorta e nemmeno una patatina? Ma anche no.....

30/07/2025: Un posto delizioso. Il personale sa' come farti sentire bene, vitello tonnato e spaghettoni Ottimi. Il Cannolo siciliano con sorbetto al limone collega due luoghi lontani del nostro paese soprattutto se si accompagna con moscato d'Asti. Ben presentati e buonissimi.Bravi Già mi mancate!

26/07/2025: Immer hier zum Aperitif. Um 11 Uhr gibt es ein Plättli dazu. Immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen immer wieder. Auch zum Essen . Angenehmer und schneller Service.

25/07/2025: Siamo stati per pranzo in questa fantastica location ed è stata una delle nostre esperienze peggiori. Innanzitutto partirei con il dire che il menù non rispecchia i piatti serviti. Abbiamo ordinato una burrata con pomodorini e ci è stato servito una mozzarella con pomodoro a fette e il pollo croccante sembrava una cotoletta impanata surgelata. Altra nota negativa il servizio. La signora , dopo aver chiesto dove fossero i nostri piatti (in notevole ritardo) ci ha apostrofato con battute fuori luogo (“vado a vedere, se l’ordine arriva dopo 3 minuti da ora pagherò io” una volta arrivato l’ordine esultava per il fatto che non avrebbe dovuto pagare). L’unica esperienza positiva la gentilezza del cameriere che ci ha accolti che per lo meno cercava di sopperire alla maleducazione dei responsabili. Siamo ancora in attesa di sapere se il gelato al mirtillo è disponibile ma presumiamo sia esaurito.

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.

12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.

15/08/2025: We took advantage of this small village on the border to have a juice and lunch, the view is magnificent, the owner is lovely… she made us homemade paninis with good cheese and charcuterie that she sells right next door in her shop!

10/07/2025: On paye la vue et c est tout. Une douzaine de Gnocchi sans goût et en dessert un Tiramisu avec des boudoirs tout sec sans avoir été trempé initialement

15/06/2025: De pasta was goed, maar de pizza smaakte naar verbrand plastic. We hebben daar iets van gezegd en de pizza is van de rekening afgehaald. Dat was wel netjes. Mooi uitzicht op Lago Maggiore. Bediening was vriendelijk.

13/04/2025: We spent one night at this place, but without using the restaurant service 🍽 (so I can't judge it). I'll start by saying that in the past I've had the opportunity to try a wide range of different accommodations... from cabins and refuges... to very modest guesthouses and hostels (the latter even in places like the outskirts of Budapest 🇭🇺, Riga 🇱🇻, Tallinn 🇪🇪 and Vilnius 🇱🇹...). Therefore, in light of this... I won't even dwell on the countless small and large flaws (to put it mildly...) of this property, regarding the condition of the rooms 🛏 and the spaces 🛋... just read several previous reviews 📝 (which I fully agree with) to get an idea. What really struck me was the ABSOLUTE LACK OF TACT AND COURTESY of the staff (with the exception of the youngest girl 👩🏻, who kindly and jokingly—it must be said—showed us to our rooms). After checking in, around mid-afternoon, the owners asked us if we planned to eat there in the evening ✨; after we replied that we preferred to "take a walk around," we got the impression that our decision had annoyed them, to say the least. Furthermore, before leaving, the older lady 👵🏻 asked us (with a stern look 🤔...): "Where are you going?"... After explaining our intentions, the same lady added: "Because we're open here until midnight 🕛". After reassuring her of this, we went out for dinner. The next morning, ready to check out at around 8:30 🕣, we found the reception and the ground floor completely deserted, in addition to the main door 🚪 locked 🔒 (therefore with no way to exit independently). After a few minutes ⏳, despite our initial surprise and perplexity, we looked for and, fortunately "crossed paths" with another lady 👩🏻‍🦱...who, in a decidedly annoyed manner 😒 (this time it was certainly not just a simple impression) replied: "You could have let us know earlier, I'll call the owner now." After a few minutes, the owner 👨🏻‍🦱 actually came down (obviously just getting out of bed 🛏) and with the same cordiality greeted us like this: "Early birds, eh?" Perhaps he hadn't considered that we might simply have intended to make the most of our day. We then rushed to pay the bill (not so modest, by the way) and leave the property. From the first to the last moment of our, albeit brief, stay... I didn't see the slightest smile on the faces of the staff (with the exception of the young woman, I emphasize this once again) nor even the minimum amount of courtesy that any restaurateur/hotelier should show (if only to continue to have customers). We almost (and actually, let's remove the almost) felt embarrassed 😳, if not guilty, for having dared to leave the hotel 🏨 (and perhaps, as mentioned, to get the staff out of bed...) at 8:30 🕣 in the morning. SIMPLY HUNTING 😱. When we left, we all breathed a sigh of relief. To quote Dante Alighieri: "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here." Jokes aside...obviously ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED 👎. 14/07/2025: Maden var lokal, lækkert, frisk. Smagte super dejligt. Vi var de eneste med børn, men det fungerede meget fint alligevel. Fik lov til at bestille en børne-pasta, selvom der ikke var børne-retter på kortet. Kan anbefales.

08/07/2025: Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich hatte ein Rindertatar als Vorspeise. Mein Mann wählte keine. Aber sie brachten unaufgefordert 2 Teller und stellten die Vorspeise in die Mitte. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Das Rindertatar war hervorragend. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals ein so perfektes Tatar gegessen zu haben. Engagiert abgeschmeckt und mit karamellisiert Zwiebeln, Kapern und gerüsteten Mandeln war es einfach hervorragend! Auch der Hauptgang, ich hatte Pasta mit Muscheln, war nicht nur mit seiner sanften Schärfe köstlich, sondern auch wirklich so abgeschmeckt, dass es kein Nachwürzen bedarf. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, auch wenn der Service bis auf eine Ausnahme sehr steif war. Das Essen sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Es ist wunderbare italienische Küche!

04/08/2025: Es war zwar sehr lecker, aber die Portionen sind leider ein Witz! Einmal geatmet und schon war das Essen leer. Also ich musste noch zuhause dann mir was zu essen machen weil von 100% Hunger wurden 30% gestillt.

06/08/2025: Siamo stati l’altro giorno a pranzo in questo posto speciale, arrivati grazie a un passaparola che si è rivelato uno dei più felici. Eleonora ci ha accolti con la grazia e la cura di chi non gestisce semplicemente un ristorante, ma apre davvero le porte di casa sua. La sensazione è stata quella di essere ospiti, non clienti. Il pranzo si è svolto con una vista incantevole sulle Alpi, mentre un venticello leggero muoveva le tende e rendeva tutto ancora più magico. Un angolo silenzioso, autentico, dove il tempo sembra rallentare. E tutto questo… con prezzi più che onesti: primi piatti gustosi e abbondanti a soli 10€, qualità altissima e una cucina che parla con sincerità. È raro trovare un equilibrio così perfetto tra bellezza, bontà e semplicità. Grazie Eleonora per la tua accoglienza e per averci fatto sentire, anche solo per un pranzo, parte di qualcosa di vero. Torneremo, senza alcun dubbio

04/08/2025: Buonasera,stati oggi a pranzo con famiglia,location veramente bella ,in un delizioso borgo,ottime tt le portate dall' antipasto ai primi,risotto in primis,prezzi giusti(che tutt' oggi è una rarita')un complimento particolare ad Eleonora,simpatica,disponibile e professionale,ci torneremo sicuramente

29/07/2025: Personale gentile, cibo molto buono e prezzi convenienti. Peccato che eravamo solo di passaggio! Streghette appese ovunque, come nel resto del paese, molto caratteristico!

02/07/2025: Abbiamo assaggiato il caratteristico "risotto in forma" buono e abbondante e molto coreografico. Come antipasto gustose verdure grigliate e una bresaola di tacchino prodotta da una macelleria della zona. Molto validi anche i dolci. Buon rapporto qualita prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

11/05/2025: I went there by chance on December 8th with my partner. At the table, they told us the only option for the day was the market menu. I didn't like it even then because there aren't any markets in Craveggia, so why take advantage of it? We stopped because it was already 1 pm. The menu included an appetizer, a platter of local cured meats that only my partner ordered, but in reality it was a sad little plate of deli meats from the supermarket. We ordered two different first courses, but in reality, both were topped with lots of onion and bacon and nothing else. A truly poor dish in terms of quality and flavor. It was all accompanied by undrinkable wine because it was vinegary. The main course was served to us with a finger by the waitress, who even left her fingerprint in the slice of meat. The dish served to my partner, polenta and two or three varieties of meat, looked like leftovers. My fries were covered in oil. We skipped dessert. This entire lunch, which you normally get on weekdays for 10 euros, was charged 35 euros each! Shameful. We'll never go back and I don't recommend it to anyone. I'm attaching a photo of my thumbprint and the oil on the fries, which I showed to a waitress who apologized.

26/06/2025: Tutto ottimo dalle pizze semplici ma di qualità impasto croccante e pasta ruvida, vi consiglio la pizza buona! Per cucina vi consiglio l’abbondante fritto misto oppure la tagliata…. Ottima anche la focaccia intanto che aspettate i piatti!!!

18/06/2025: Schöne gedeckte Pergola, gegen Strasse und Fluss. Genug Parkplätze. Mittagsmenü 2 Gänge, Pasta und Fleisch mit 1 Glas Wein 15 Euro! Gute und freundliche Bedienung. Gerne wieder

26/05/2025: Fabulosa comida en un bonito entorno en las afueras de Cannobio. El plato de pasta era muy especial, así como mi gran filete. Carta de vinos y menú de bebidas. Lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fueron los propietarios que eran muy amables e incluso nos dieron un aventón de vuelta a nuestro hotel ya que estaba lloviendo.

29/06/2025: Che dire,,,,!!! Tutto Ottimo e abbondante la gestione familiare è la ciliegina sulla torta. Gente Semplice e accogliente con TUTTI TORNERÒ sicuramente per assaggiare la polenta con le Lumache. Bravissima la ragazza in sala e la Figlia dei proprietari Sempre sorridente il che non guasta. 16/06/2025: Ottimo posto ( non lochescion... ) che ti riporta ai tempi in cui non si facevano le " esperienze gourmet " ma si andava a mangiare per stare bene ed in compagnia. Personale premuroso e gentile malgrado la calca, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo e panorama bellissimo. Da provare!
