01/02/2026: We stopped here for lunch on our late return from Lake Antrona. The owners were very welcoming. The menu was very interesting, featuring several traditional local dishes, especially the pasta dishes, which were delicious. The desserts are homemade, specifically by the owner's wife: fantastic. We'll definitely be back next time we're here. Special thanks to the owner, who enlivened our lunch with stories from his life.

19/11/2025: Ottimo bar, pulito e confortevole. Lo visito la parecchi anni e la qualità è sempre stata costante. Buona sia la caffetteria che i cocktail. L'unica cosa che mi fa storcere il naso è che non effettuano ordinazioni al tavolo ma devi entrare a fare l'ordinazione. I prezzi ultimamente sono aumentati rispetto agli anni scorsi.

21/03/2026: My partner and I had lunch here during a trip to the Borromean Islands. We had a wonderful time! The restaurant is slightly further inland from the lakeside, but you can still see it from the terrace windows. We shared an appetizer (mixed fried lake fish), which was plentiful, light, and excellent! We then each ordered the daily fixed-price menu, also featuring fish, and were very satisfied. The waitress was also very kind and helpful. The price was reasonable, and cover charge included!

The pizzas are delicious, well-topped, and easy to digest, made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, perfect for a casual evening with friends or family. Friendly and fast service, fair prices, and great customer service. A local favorite when you want a well-made pizza. Highly recommended!

19/10/2025: Better to give it a wide berth Our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing in several respects. A pork dish we ordered was served undercooked twice. Only on the third attempt was the meat fully cooked – however, the repeated reheating made it dry and unappealing. The children's schnitzels seemed to have been industrially prepared, as they were all identically shaped and very tough. The fish plate consisted of small pieces of fish with a lot of skin and hardly any meat, heavily fried and coated in a thick, floury coating – tasteless. Another dish wasn't even cooked but still appeared on the bill. The staff didn't respond to this with understanding or an apology, but rather with a discussion. The pork, which we complained about, was also charged in full. The portions were small overall. It was obvious that ready-made products were being used; fresh herbs or attractive presentation were nowhere to be found. The service was slow, unfriendly, and made little effort to make the experience pleasant. The owner was present, but he acted hectic and unfriendly, didn't greet us upon entering or leaving the restaurant, and generally didn't give a professional impression. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend it. ... Better avoid Our visit to this restaurant was completely disappointing, despite various expectations. A fried meat dish was served twice, not completely cooked. Only the third time around, the meat was cooked perfectly, but due to the repeated heating, it was already dry and tasteless. 24/01/2026: The pizzas were decent, but nothing special. The shrimp one in particular had an unpleasant, almost aquarium-like flavor. The prices, unfortunately, are significantly higher than other pizzerias in the area, even more renowned, elegant, and gourmet ones. The bill was the same, if not higher, than at higher-end establishments. The bitters, at €5 each, are excessive, and when I asked for a takeaway, I was charged the same price. Overall, the pizzeria is acceptable, but the quality of the ingredients and pricing definitely need rethinking. I definitely wouldn't return, given the value for money.

20/02/2026: We didn't like the hotel very much. The rooms were outdated, the service was rude, and the breakfast left much to be desired. Considering the price, I found that very disappointing.

12/02/2026: Lovely hotel with a restaurant. Super friendly welcome! Conveniently located centrally with many small shops nearby.

30/12/2025: Great place! We stayed for one night but found the welcome warm and friendly. Check-in was quick, and the owners were very kind and helpful. The room, although it may seem small (a quadruple), had everything you needed. The room and bathroom were clean. The restaurant service was excellent, with very attentive waiters, good food, and generous portions. We recommend it and will definitely be back! Even though it has one star, it deserves more!

15/09/2025: I was there this summer with my partner and my 2-year-old daughter. The place has potential, but it's a shame the owner isn't very friendly (to say the least).
