The interior is nice, but I found the rest disappointing... 4 tomato bruschettas for €10. The grilled chicken breast I ordered was a rock, and the bill was €90 for two... Bad experience.

13/09/2025: This restaurant is located a bit outside of Cannobio. It's not particularly well-located. The pizzas were delicious, and the Aperol and Hugo were also delicious. The service was a bit unfriendly. The prices here are very fair.

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.

12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.

The staff was attentive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming — you can tell they care about every customer who walks through the door. The coffee here is excellent — rich, smooth, and full of flavor. Whether you’re having a classic espresso or a creamy cappuccino, you won’t be disappointed. I also tried a freshly baked pastry, and it was simply delicious — light, flaky, and made with care. They offer a nice selection of sweet and savory snacks that are ideal for a quick break or a light lunch. The interior is stylish yet relaxed, making it a great place to sit down with friends or even work on your laptop for a while. It has that special atmosphere that makes you feel at home, while still being vibrant and alive. The outdoor seating is also a bonus, especially if you want to enjoy a sunny day and take in a bit of the local life in Verbania. 05/09/2025: A wonderful place in the heart of the picturesque monastery complex. The food is very good, and the prices are reasonable. However, the unfriendliness of the staff, even when speaking Italian, is a real imposition.

03/09/2025: We had a reservation at this restaurant yesterday at 9 pm. We had confirmation by mail. When we arrived by car at 9pm15, the restaurant wa CLOSED. It was dark, nobody was there. Nobody at Phone. On Google the restaurant was still indicated "open until 10.30 pm". They did not call us to advise us, of course. We had NEVER seen that with a restaurant. Please never go there. When you treat clients tlike that, you just deserve to be CLOSED for ever.

27/07/2025: We came to spend a day at the pool area and ha lung lung at the restaurant. It was very bad. Fritto misto was over cooked and very dry, kids had fried chicken that was also too dry.

28/06/2025: I am a regular customer at the pool, I wanted a simple toast but the kitchen was busy so they told me that they wouldn't make sandwiches, piadinas and toast until 2.30pm... I come back at 2.30pm and... nothing so I had lunch now, with a brioche because being at the pool I didn't feel like a plate of pasta (it's also a bar), so if you come to the pool with the idea of ​​having a sandwich my advice is to bring food from home.

11/07/2025: Local gem! Some locals recommended this spot when we were looking for a good place for an aperitivo — and it turned out to be so much more! Great atmosphere, tasty drinks, and surprisingly good food for a light meal. We’ll definitely be coming back!

18/08/2025: We booked a triple room for Ferragosto, almost at the last minute, and despite the time of year, the price for one night was more than fair, including breakfast (at the partner bar next door). The building is relatively new, and it shows in the amenities it offers. The room was good, with adjustable air conditioning, a bathroom, and a small closet. Friendly staff. We booked to spend a couple of days in the mountains—Monte Rosa is about 30 minutes away—but it's also suitable for business travelers, as it's close to the Simplon highway, which connects to the A26.

29/07/2025: An unforgettable experience! Motel located between abandoned factories and a bus depot. The rooms were clean but dated, which is a compliment. The air conditioning didn't work, and the windows couldn't be opened due to the huge number of mosquitoes. We asked to bring our bike (sparkling clean) to the room, but they said no, instead having it put in a garage they called "sucuro"... The next morning we went downstairs and found the famous "sucuro" garage located at the back of this motel, completely open and unsupervised! Breakfast was at an adjacent bar, not very clean, but very casual.
