I'll start by saying that the staff was very friendly, and they gave me a €2.20 discount because I paid cash.
I imagine the food was frozen and reheated.
I noticed at home, because I didn't have glasses, that the cover charge was for seven people, but there were three of us.
Never happened to me in my life...
Of course, it's easy to make a mistake with people you won't see again because they're tourists...

02/05/2026: We stayed here for four days. Excellent drinks, especially the limoncello spritz. Fast service and reasonable prices. Excellent location in the center of Stresa. Excellent platters.

20/04/2026: I agree, the staff is incredibly unpleasant. If you want bread, you have to get up and fetch it yourself after waiting for the waitress's attention, as if we were bothering her. The portions are tiny: a ribeye steak of about 150g accompanied by two fries, literally two. It's outrageous!
19/04/2026: The raisin brioche was very good, the gelato and cappuccino were decent. The atmosphere was lovely, especially the outdoor seating, which still felt a bit like being in the park. We didn't appreciate the behavior of one of the waitresses, who rudely treated her colleague, who was obviously a novice, for mistakenly bringing us a cup of gelato that wasn't for us. Everyone makes mistakes, but it didn't bother us at all. She also confused him further by telling him to take everything away, when in fact the mistake was only about one item. We understand the stress at the end of the day, but respect for others must always be present.

Annoyed service; the waitress immediately became annoyed when we asked to move tables.
Roast potatoes: 8 of each for 6 euros.
Fried lake fish: 80% of which are cheap fish, but it's a 20-euro dish.
Half a liter of draft wine: €12.50.
Definitely too expensive, and above all, cold and annoyed service.

27/07/2025: Leuk restaurant waar je vooral vlees moet eten want de keuze is uitgebreid. Alles komt in een vlot tempo aan tafel, de bediening is hartelijk. L’onglet was super mals en heel lekker. Na een uur stonden we al weer buiten. Gezellige sfeer.

Senza prenotare e ad un'ora dalla chiusura ci hanno fatto accomodare subito.
Personale cortese e disponibile.Servizio veloce.
Tagliere di affettati di ottima qualità,forse un po' caro ....rispetto a quanto offerto.
Primi piatti ottimi, materie prime di qualità e porzioni giuste. Dolce buono. Da tenere presente!

25/07/2025: Un Spritz Aperol quasi « Virgin »… ultra light.
Une cuisine un peu bâclée.
Des aubergines grillées à peine assaisonnées et manquant un peu de cuisson.
La panacota à 6,50€ qui ne Ressemble pas à grand chose : 2/3 d’une petite verrine remplie d’une simple crème épaissie, sans coulis ni garniture!!! Ridicule en taille comparée au tiramisu qui lui est correct!
Et pour clôturer, le serveur en chef qui se paye ma tête lorsque je lui exprime ma déception par rapport au dessert!!!

11/08/2025: Servizio al tavolo ok, personale gentile e veloce, unica nota negativa, i prezzi. Prendo una lattina di Schweppes e scopro che costa 5 euro, quando per la stessa il 9 giugno ho pagato euro 3.50. Non so quando possono cambiarsi i prezzi per la stagione. Ma lo trovo un po esagerato.
Purtroppo l'idea di alzare i prezzi é terribile e a pagarne le conseguenze siamo tutti.
26/07/2025: Goede kwaliteit prijs verhouding met mooi uitzicht op Isola Bella. Met snelle goede bediening.
Snap niet waar de slechte beoordelingen vandaan komen, het restaurant is meer waard!
