08/05/2025: Unfortunately the ice cream didn't convince us much. The cream flavors had little flavor while the fruit ones were completely frozen in fact the ice cream maker himself had difficulty putting them on the cone. Furthermore, whoever served us seemed almost annoyed by the presence of customers in the shop... maybe it was a bad day but an extra smile never hurts.

19/04/2025: One thing that strikes you at first glance is the atmosphere of this place, in vintage style appreciable in its beauty of times gone by. From the tin boxes used to hold cutlery to the bicycles on the walls, you will be impressed by the creativity of the design. The location is excellent, the pizzeria is located in one of the most beautiful and famous squares in Turin, therefore with the possibility of eating outdoors in large spaces. The service is quite good, without infamy or praise, perhaps with a bit of a wait but which becomes passable if you spend the evening in good company. The food is tasty and with fresh ingredients, made with care and without any blunders whatsoever. The sore point is perhaps the price: slightly higher than the average of places that offer similar services and products to consumers. All in all a nice place with average food and service as above. Nothing particular to report.

18/04/2025: Tooooo slow. 30 minutes waiting for two pizzas and the restaurant wasn't even fully booked inside and as a bonus one of the pizzas didn't even have the mozzarella the bufala melted It was just added fresh on top. We lost our reservation for one of the Museo Egizio atracctions.

27/04/2025: Durante un fine settimana lungo, durante il quale ho avuto modo di provare i piatti e i gusti tipici della cucina piemontese, ho scelto di chiudere la gita torinese presso questo ristorante: seguendo l’istinto oltre che la Guida, mi è sembrato che qui si ritrovino i veri capisaldi della memoria storica di questa città e di questi sapori, così decisi, così confortevoli. Abbiamo scelto il percorso della degustazione “Territorio”, una vera celebrazione su ceramica di ciò che significa avere 40 tuorli d’uovo per kilo di farina nel piatto, di cosa significa avere un ripieno di gallina ed erbette di campo abbracciate da una laccatura di arrosto negli agnolotti, di cosa significa, ancora, una Torinese con grissino croccante come panatura. Lasciandomi consigliare dal gentilissimo e preparato sommelier, abbiamo bagnato tutto con una splendida bottiglia di Barbaresco, fatto con il cuore oltre che con le uve di Giacosa. Non ultima, ma degna del titolo a questa recensione, la storia e la classe di un padrone di casa, Umberto: se la moda non scalfisce questo locale è per la tradizione che solo un personaggio come lui riesce a trasmettere ai suoi ospiti.

26/12/2024: Cena del 20/12/2024 Il locale, ubicato a Collegno, in zona scomoda per il parcheggio ma non molto distante dalla stazione Paradiso della metropolitana, si presenta di piccole dimensioni e con le pareti che accolgono una gigantografia del Grande Toro. I tavoli, per la tipologia di locale, sono discretamente distanziati tra loro ed il comfort acustico, almeno nella serata della nostra cena, tale da consentire di parlare agevolmente con i commensali. Veniamo alla cucina: hamburger cotti come da indicazioni e ben farciti, salsiccia al nebbiolo con fagioli e patate al forno (Sioux) che ha soddisfatto il mio commensale e patate fritte croccanti e asciutte. Un discorso a parte merita la bistecca impanata (oro del Klondike), la quale, oltre che caratterizzata da alcuni tralci fibrosi e un po’ troppo sottile (e quindi un po’ asciutta) mi ha dato l’impressione di essere cotta in olio (non credo burro) già usato, risultando per questo motivo il gusto della carne sovrastato ed alterato da quello dell’impanatura e da quello non molto gradevole dell’olio. Prosecco sfuso non memorabile. Personale cortese e servizio rapido. Conto tutto sommato economico. Voto: 7

02/05/2025: We ate at this place for the first time. The girl who brought us the burgers with a smile while the first girl without a smile. The beers are good, the place is welcoming in a unique English pub style. The only flaw was the dry burgers and the burnt meat, the bread looked like it was from yesterday too dry, I'm really sorry. The burgers seemed soulless. We will definitely be back just for the beers
