23/07/2025: Campidoglio....a neighborhood that's being reborn, with new venues popping up in the past few years, nestled in period homes that have been reimagined and re-evaluated...Ratatui is one of them...cute, with a lovely courtyard area under a grapevine (mosquitoes aside...but that's fine with this heat), Piedmontese food and more, a few ethnic diversions to blend in with the many locals...well done...the waiters are great, and the owner is superb...a step forward...worth a visit.

27/07/2025: The food is sparse and bland, French in a manner of speaking, the disorganization typical of those who aren't in the know, the same menu over and over, the anchovies and eggs INEDIBLE, the service improvised, the decor shabby. How sad, in Chiomonte you expect something completely different, even if the French cuisine is good, here we are at an amateur level. The portions are "haute cuisine" or stingy. The prices are like those of a real restaurant, but here the only real thing is the bill, as salty as the anchovies and eggs. Not recommended is an understatement; if it hasn't closed already, it will certainly close soon.

16/07/2025: A warm welcome (and in French!) and excellent cuisine. A special mention goes to the pistachio tiramisu: it's to die for! Don't hesitate to make a detour to this peaceful village to eat at this restaurant.

11/09/2025: We dined here last night for a birthday (it was requested when booking) at the recommendation of a friend from Giaveno. Risotto and tajarin with porcini mushrooms (excellent and plentiful), tagliata with porcini mushrooms, and fried mushrooms. And a pizza, but Alexander's pizzas are beyond reproach. Everything arrived in a timely manner, compatible with the risotto's preparation. The food was good and very well cooked. The fried food was light and crispy. Riccardo, who served us, was very professional and knew how to offer the right advice. My dessert also came with a birthday candle. I highly recommend it.

Varied traditional Piedmontese menu, with some truly excellent dishes such as the vegetable flan or the risotto with sausage. Ideal for ceremonies or events.

11/08/2025: This evening my partner and I were lucky enough to discover the Devesi cooperative thanks to The Fork (7D9ACBB3, using this code you'll get €50 off your next THEFORK reservation). We had a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses with honey, all delicious. I had a pizza alla Norma, and he had ravioli with roasted tomato sauce. Everything was delicious (as a Catania native, I can only recommend the diced eggplant, topped with mozzarella and salted ricotta, just after it comes out of the oven). The pizza was very well-seasoned, and the dough was excellent. Truly delicious. On our way out, we ordered another pizza to take home for tomorrow. The girl and the gentleman who served us were very kind and helpful with any requests I had. Thank you for everything, and I hope to return soon. Best of luck, and see you soon. PS. I'm finishing my la Norma now; it's delicious even cold.

04/08/2025: I came here for dinner and was already satisfied: - the service was polite and friendly - the restaurant is simple but comfortable - the food is really delicious and the ingredients are quite good I believe the value for money deserves a 5-star rating

27/08/2025: I'm giving one star because zero is impossible. I went to this pizzeria to pick up three takeout pizzas about two weeks ago. They called around 7:15 PM and gave me an appointment to pick up the pizzas around 8:20 PM (a bit excessive in my opinion for three takeout pizzas). I showed up a few minutes early, and while I waited, I asked for two small beers for me and my friend, and they arrived after over 5 minutes. We waited another 10 minutes past the indicated time for the pizzas to be picked up. After that, I tried to ask how much longer we would have to wait and was told it would be just a moment longer. After over 15 minutes, I asked again, and the owner, in a very arrogant tone, told me, "It's August, if you want to wait, fine, otherwise don't get the pizzas and leave." After waiting over 20 minutes, past the indicated time, the pizzas arrived. Rating: Poor pizza. This place is in the hands of people who don't know how to run a restaurant in a tourist town like Cesana Torinese that deserves much more.

26/08/2025: Superb dinner, perfect and very kind service, truly 10++++. The only downside, perhaps due to the season, is that the breadsticks were too industrial. I will be back, very satisfied.

30/08/2025: We had lunch at the Castello di Pavarolo restaurant and the experience was truly enjoyable. The cuisine was excellent: we were delighted by the light and flavorful fritto misto, accompanied by a Freisa Terre dei Santi, crisp and refreshing, perfect for the dish. The desserts also confirmed the excellence of the cuisine, with a trio of zabaglione desserts that won us over. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, without any particular extravagance: a simple yet pleasant place, where the quality of the food and the attention to detail are the absolute protagonists. Recommended for those who want to enjoy authentic Piedmontese cuisine in a peaceful setting.

28/08/2025: We arrived this evening without booking, but there was no problem, they made us sit calmly, even if it is always advisable to book, we tried a first course with duck ragù, tagliolini 30 yolks, delicious, second course, sliced ​​ox heart, it melted in the mouth, and to finish 6 samples of desserts, not the usual tiramisu or panna cotta, I would have liked to have seconds, the chef very professional and above all very passionate, he explained to us every ingredient used for the desserts, a spectacle to listen to him, he described the Piedmontese mixed fry that we will definitely try next time, what can I say, kind staff, a special mention for the chef, young, very kind and really good, fast and accurate service, definitely to return.
