28/09/2025: I'm lucky enough to know Antonino, and I have to say he has no qualms about naming the main ingredients in a recipe (it would have been enough to say 1-2 cheeses from the polenta sauce mix), but if you compare yourself to him, you're still a bit "far away." It's certainly not an insult; you only need to be intelligent to understand it. How can you understand that criticism doesn't put you in a bad light, on the contrary! In some things, I've even been positive and I'd even say good. I've eaten the same things elsewhere with better results. With humility, you have time to improve. The discount? I simply don't find the price appropriate for the food, and that certainly wouldn't make me come back. I would definitely come back, expecting improvements. But if we consider ourselves accomplished, we don't grow. Antonino himself doesn't feel accomplished; it's his humility, his desire to grow and accept criticism that made him what he is. I have great respect for him, who started from the bottom. Good luck

17/08/2025: A group of five of us went there by chance. We all had pizza and had a blast! Their pizzas are excellent, as are their desserts. The staff is friendly and makes an effort to understand us despite the language barrier. The price is very reasonable. A nice surprise!

20/07/2025: Questo spettacolare ristorante ci è stato consigliato da un amico locale, e consiglio non fu più gradito! Un ristorante dove si mangia bene sia la tradizione che cucina innovativa (nonché di pesce). C’è, appunto, la possibilità di scegliere fra il menù degustazione della tradizione (carne, ravioles, ecc) e quello degustazione più rivisitato (con 1 piatti in più), molto a base di pesce.. assolutamente eccezionale!! La materia prima è di altissima qualità. Il posto è molto bello, dispone di un dehor esterno e di due sale interne. Il personale è molto cordiale ed il servizio veloce. Il conto assolutamente onesto, non mi aspettavo dei prezzi così giusti. Unico neo.. I dolci hanno porzioni troppo piccole.. forse ci starebbe un po’ più di abbondanza. Bravissimi e complimenti, sicuramente ci torneremo.

14/06/2025: Abbiamo provato il menù degustazione: i piatti erano buoni, abbastanza curati e ben presentati. Nulla di straordinario, ma l’inizio era promettente. Purtroppo, il secondo ci ha delusi: ci sono stati serviti due piatti di agnello pieni di pezzi di grasso, con carne filamentosa e troppo cruda, quasi al sangue. Nessuno ci aveva avvisati su come sarebbe stato cucinato, e il risultato è stato che abbiamo lasciato quasi tutto nel piatto. Dopo aver seguito con interesse l’intero percorso, siamo arrivati al secondo con aspettative alte… per poi ritrovarci a mangiare solo le verdure di contorno. Peccato. Non credo torneremo: da un menù degustazione ci si aspetta coerenza e attenzione fino all’ultimo piatto.

22/05/2025: Wer gute Weine aus der Region, passend zum ausgewählten Essen, trinken möchte ist hier genau richtig! Service: Freundlich, locker, sympathisch! Lokal: Gemütlich. Essen: Fantastisch!! Weine: Super Man erhält ausführliche Weinberatung!! Man fühlt sich, auch alleine, nicht unwohl durch die Aufmerksamkeit des Services Preis etwas gehoben, aber der Qualität absolut angemessen!! Alles in allem als einfach zu Empfehlen!

04/05/2025: Locale fuori dai circuiti turistici di Alba. Sala accogliente, con pochi coperti. Menù con il giusto numero di pietanze, tutte della tradizione. Insomma, i presupposti per l'eccellenza c'erano tutti, e non siamo rimasti delusi. Le materie prime sono di alta qualità. Lo staff è preparatissimo, gentile e simpatico. Prezzi più che onesti. Bravissimi!

19/08/2025: As a restaurant, it's not one of the best we've tried in Italy. In fact, the pasta was the most overcooked we've ever had (too soft). The rest was okay.

15/08/2025: Good restaurant, tried it one lunchtime. A little bit in the passageway of the street that leads up to the funicular… Very good eggplant gratin.

23/09/2025: Definitely one of the best kebabs in the area. They also have a wide selection of pizzas (including Turkish). Very friendly staff.

22/07/2025: We dined at this pizzeria on the recommendation of friends, but I'm afraid they didn't want to hurt us. The fish wasn't as described: it seemed prepared days ago, not fresh. The mussels seemed reheated and had a terrible, stale taste. We paid a lot, but didn't leave satisfied—far from it. We all had stomach aches. I don't think we'll return. The music was unbearable. The cutlery wasn't clean.

27/07/2025: I think it's one of the best bakeries in the area. A wide selection of products, all very good. It's busy, but worth it. 5 stars.

27/08/2025: Very well received despite the language barrier, we were served quickly and in a warm atmosphere! Note to the boss who is super welcoming, we thank him for accepting dogs!

25/08/2025: Nice restaurant with good food. My family and I go there every year for polenta, and I have to say, it never disappoints. It's a shame about the last time, when we didn't make a reservation and showed up at 6:45 PM and asked for a table for dinner. The owner, not very politely, replied, "We're not a nursing home; we serve dinner from 7:30 to 8:00 PM." Needless to say, we were disappointed. Despite everything, this won't affect the quality of the service, the food, or the location.

09/09/2025: Terrible experience on the evening of September 8, 2025. My parents and I came for dinner at 8:20 p.m. The pizzas arrived at 10:30 p.m., two hours after we ordered them, and during the two-hour wait, no one took the time or attention to check on us or even apologize for the wait. The fault lies with the manager, who allowed two poor waitresses and a single pizza chef to serve a restaurant packed with people (including a huge table of noisy children and rude parents) all evening. I would never return due to the terrible experience. I hope this review helps the manager understand that perhaps they need to invest in more staff, as the situation is currently embarrassing. It's worth noting that the waitresses offered us a discount due to the wait; the two girls deserve thanks.

15/09/2025: One of the less kitschy tourist restaurants in the villagio. Service is friendly, but obstrusively focused on overturn. But the waitress withdraw the wine and spirits menues (several) instantly, when I declared 'no alcole'. Probably she thought I'm muslim. I had cinghiale, which they serve traditionally as ragout with polenta. The cinghiale was fairly tasty, but the polenta as the fried vegetables as side dish had no taste. The waitress then tried to sell aftermeal bits like coffee, dessert. I didn't bought any. In total, I found the bill somewhat overdrawn, a typical tourist trap price.

09/09/2025: TOURIST TRAP! Besides having waited quite a while both to order (we called them) and to eat, we're very disappointed to have wasted 95 euros on a very bad meal! I had sea bass with fries, and after asking if I wanted it whole or cleaned, I said cleaned. They brought me a measly portion, all in little pieces, thrown there as if it had been nibbled. My boyfriend, on the other hand, had mushrooms with grilled lamb. The lamb was tough, full of water, and all you could taste was burnt, while the mushrooms, which were definitely frozen, were watery and tasteless; if you squeezed them, a lot of water came out. Disappointment! Absolutely disappointing! Ruined evening! I highly recommend it!

18/05/2025: Non ho parole per descrivere questo ristorante. Siamo stati oggi. Siamo stati messi sotto una tettoia sporchissima, piena di ragnatele. Ci siamo fatti spostare dentro. Peggio di peggio. I muri sono sporchi, i quadri e i lampadari con tre dita di polvere.Muffa sui muri. Il servizio: imbarazzante e mi fermo qui. Il cibo : un salame ( l unica cosa buona) una frittata, un uovo con una simil bagna cauda, del manzo con maionese. Il primo è stato atteso per circa 50 minuti ... tagliatelle con fiori di prato. Proprio solo il nome era invitante: erano fredde e collose: erano al burro con forse 2 petali secchi di chissà che fiore. Il secondo : pollo alla polvere di caffe. Anche qui invitante solo il nome del piatto atteso un altra ora. Il dolce l abbiamo evitato. Quando è troppo è troppo. Ha vinto come peggior posto! Pensare che avrebbe un forte potenziale. Mi chiedo davvero come si possa pensare di accogliere dei commensali con una sporcizia e un servizio del genere.

02/05/2025: Locale molto caratteristico. Accoglienza spettacolare, cibo buono e rapporto qualità prezzo davvero super ! Il menù comprende primo secondo bevande vino della casa compreso e caffè. Si possono aggiungere antipasto e dolce. Abbiamo speso 48 euro in 2 con un un antipasto due primi due secondi ed un dolce. Come detto acqua vino e caffè compresi. Ottimi gli antipasti. I taglierini burro e fiori ed il tomino al cartoccio. Parcheggio interno, cosa volete di più....

09/01/2025: All positive in the experience....the only sore point, not dependent on the structure, are the nearby church bells that ring day and NIGHT!!!
