02/07/2025: I had lunch with my family today. Unfortunately, I can't give a positive review. There is no relationship between quality and price. The gnocchi with castelmagno were definitely too liquid, the second course, a loin with zucchini, was inedible. The meat was very hard and the zucchini were full of water. The breadsticks tasted stale and the desserts passed off as homemade were undoubtedly packaged. Maybe I can leave a positive note for the vitello tonnato but because it was the only thing we managed to finish. I don't think I would recommend it. At least not during the week.

25/05/2025: Quiet restaurant in Roddi, we had lunch on Sunday. Adequate service, fair waiting times. Good food quality, in line with the gastronomic offer of the area, nothing special but definitely good. Price 50 euros per person, two courses each with drinks and two desserts.

23/03/2025: Furnishings a bit old-fashioned, but completely functional. Very professional and clean. Friendly reception. I was allowed to park my bike safely in the former restaurant. Cozy lounge by the warm fireplace. Very good location on the motorway, but still very quiet. Breakfast is typically Italian, but personally a little lacking in nutrition for me. Good value for money. Suggestions for improvement: Expand the breakfast offering to include fresh fruit and (whole grain) bread.

18/07/2025: We went for a quiet dinner, thinking we'd eat well. I had to change my mind. The seafood pasta was terrible, the fish was watery and rubbery, and the pasta was bland. The dessert, as usual, was a portion too large and the food was too cheap. I'm sorry, but this time we were disappointed. The owner was rude and didn't even say hello.

25/07/2025: Durante la cata de vinos nos detuvimos en este ristorante en Barbaresco para almorzar. IT es un hermoso restaurante con una gran vista del campo. Hay una terraza para comer cuando hace buen tiempo. El servicio fue genial. La comida era buena y a precios razonables.

18/05/2025: Non ho parole per descrivere questo ristorante. Siamo stati oggi. Siamo stati messi sotto una tettoia sporchissima, piena di ragnatele. Ci siamo fatti spostare dentro. Peggio di peggio. I muri sono sporchi, i quadri e i lampadari con tre dita di polvere.Muffa sui muri. Il servizio: imbarazzante e mi fermo qui. Il cibo : un salame ( l unica cosa buona) una frittata, un uovo con una simil bagna cauda, del manzo con maionese. Il primo è stato atteso per circa 50 minuti ... tagliatelle con fiori di prato. Proprio solo il nome era invitante: erano fredde e collose: erano al burro con forse 2 petali secchi di chissà che fiore. Il secondo : pollo alla polvere di caffe. Anche qui invitante solo il nome del piatto atteso un altra ora. Il dolce l abbiamo evitato. Quando è troppo è troppo. Ha vinto come peggior posto! Pensare che avrebbe un forte potenziale. Mi chiedo davvero come si possa pensare di accogliere dei commensali con una sporcizia e un servizio del genere.

02/05/2025: Locale molto caratteristico. Accoglienza spettacolare, cibo buono e rapporto qualità prezzo davvero super ! Il menù comprende primo secondo bevande vino della casa compreso e caffè. Si possono aggiungere antipasto e dolce. Abbiamo speso 48 euro in 2 con un un antipasto due primi due secondi ed un dolce. Come detto acqua vino e caffè compresi. Ottimi gli antipasti. I taglierini burro e fiori ed il tomino al cartoccio. Parcheggio interno, cosa volete di più....

28/07/2025: Onverwachts op dit terras beland voor een diner. Wat we kregen was echt lokale gerechten met een bijzonder tintje. We hadden de zalm die op een speciale manier in wij bladeren en zuur ingemaakt was. Kort uitgelegd maar dit moet je proeven! We ook de roastbeef mooie eerlijke smaken. Kortom een verrassende aanrader als even echt lokaal wil gaan!

09/03/2025: A blast from the past. The venue is splendid and the food and service are also of a good standard. If you pass through Bra it is definitely worth a visit!

28/06/2025: Enttäuschendes Erlebnis im Ca’del Re – nie wieder! Unser Besuch im Ca’del Re war leider ein Reinfall auf ganzer Linie. Trotz vorheriger Reservierung wurde uns der gewünschte Tisch einfach nicht zugewiesen – keinerlei Entschuldigung, keine Lösung, einfach Ignoranz. Besonders ärgerlich war die vollkommen unflexible Haltung des Servicepersonals: Wir waren zu viert und wollten gerne zwei Menüs teilen, was in vielen guten Restaurants absolut üblich ist. Nicht so hier. Uns wurde unmissverständlich mitgeteilt, dass jeder ein komplettes Menü bestellen müsse – kein Entgegenkommen, kein Verständnis, nur starre Regeln, die offenbar vor allem dazu dienen, möglichst viel Geld aus den Gästen zu pressen. Das Ganze wirkte wie reine Touristenabzocke. Wer nicht bereit ist, sich auf Gäste einzulassen und stattdessen nur Umsatz maximieren will, hat unser Geld und unsere Zeit nicht verdient. Fazit: Das Ca’del Re lebt vielleicht von seiner Lage, aber sicher nicht von Gastfreundschaft oder Servicekultur. Wir kommen ganz sicher nicht wieder – und raten jedem, der Wert auf ein angenehmes kulinarisches Erlebnis legt, dringend ab.

03/06/2025: Sono stata con la famiglia in questo posto splendido per festeggiare il mio compleanno: scelto totalmente a scatola chiusa, è stata una vera rivelazione! Abbiamo pranzato in giardino, sotto un grande ciliegio, il personale è stato da subito cordiale e pronto per ogni esigenza ( abbiamo una bimba piccola). Menù sia tradizionale che più sperimentale: provati entrambi, impeccabili su tutta la linea! Prezzo nella media della zona ed equo per la qualità del cibo e del servizio.
