27/10/2025: There's a real organizational problem in this restaurant... We ordered "escalope Milanese" with a green salad and got fries. The staff is just talking nonsense!!!

15/10/2025: Terrible place for breakfast. Only one type of croissant available, and it's poor quality. Uninterested staff.

08/12/2025: First time here and I have to say we had a delicious pizza 🍕, an excellent beer 🍺 and the dessert was also very good. Quiet and nice place. The only downside, if I may say, is the service. I noticed a bit of confusion among them, as if there was some discomfort. Anyway, I highly recommend it.

09/09/2025: I'd better skip the pizza. The first courses, especially the gnocchi, are truly excellent. Some say they're good, others less so. The desserts are good. As a mountain village restaurant, it's more than adequate. Pontechianale is experiencing a strong growth in tourism, so I'd say it's time to improve in many respects.

16/03/2026: Thinking of going for pizza at the usual "pizzeria/osteria" (as the sign says), which for years had been a guarantee of excellent value and a welcoming, rustic atmosphere, we were unpleasantly surprised to discover that what advertises itself as a pizzeria no longer makes pizzas as everyone knows them, but instead very thin flatbreads, more similar to piadinas (with good ingredients, but not as satisfying as a real pizza). The menu offers very few "pizzas," and the prices have risen unjustifiably. The place is very beautiful and well-decorated, but it's far from the typical Osteria one might expect, being a very chic and exclusive establishment (although the strong smell of smoke permeates the room and lingers on your clothes after you leave). I still fondly remember the dishes and the atmosphere under the previous management—perhaps a little more rustic, but certainly more authentic.

13/03/2026: The staff is very friendly and the place is very cute, but the schiacciapizza was very disappointing. The dough was bland, like that of a piadina, and the ingredients, although good, didn't seem to have been cooked together with the rest.

14/10/2025: We were at this place on Monday night, last night, maybe ten friends and I, around midnight, asking if it would be possible to use the space upstairs (a small balcony). The owner's response was a request for a minimum spend of €300, stated in a brusque and embarrassing manner (€300 to stay upstairs, mind you). There was no special event, nor reason for such an exorbitant price, considering that the place was almost empty (three tables outside and two inside), we found the whole thing truly embarrassing. We talked it over among ourselves, and even if we'd thought for just a fraction of a second that it wasn't a problem, considering the owner's manner (I presume), we decided it wasn't worth it given his rudeness. So, shortly afterward, the owner came out again and asked us, in a rude and arrogant tone, "So should I make it for you or not? Have you changed your mind?" A truly unprofessional approach, which made the experience very unpleasant. Not recommended if you're looking for friendly and respectful service. There are definitely better options in the area. (1 star because 0 is impossible) Have a good evening.

24/08/2025: Interesting and very nice place, friendly and kind waiters, also excellent drinks as well as the atmosphere in the evenings and excellent location in the San Doná square, I highly recommend it

03/01/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try this restaurant's cuisine. I called a few days before the end of 2025 to ask if they were open for lunch on January 1st. Given the confirmation, I made a reservation, but when we showed up, we found it closed. I don't understand why; they could have told me they were closed, and I would have booked somewhere else. Luckily, we found another restaurant that was open.

07/11/2025: Everything is good and the management is getting better and better

04/03/2026: We've been to Torre Mare several times. The pizzas are generally decent. Unfortunately, the restaurant service didn't convince us. The food quality is quite poor, and we even had some dishes served raw. Overall, the dishes are poorly prepared, with little seasoning and varying portions from dish to dish, even if the order is the same. One thing that didn't quite impress us was the grated cheese: several times we found it moldy. Luckily, you can smell it immediately when you open the lid, but it's something that shouldn't happen, especially considering we have a small child who obviously can't notice such things. The welcome was also rather cold and lacking in empathy towards customers. Long waits, even when the place was empty. It's a shame because the place is nice and has real potential, but more attention to quality and the customer experience is needed.

30/11/2025: Restaurant review The bottle of wine wasn't opened at the table, and the wine wasn't tasted. We didn't choose the truffles (a business lunch specifically to sample white truffles) (as was usually the case), and they weren't weighed at the table before and after grating (as was usually the case). The truffles smelled good but had no flavor: it would have been nice to have asked us beforehand. So the dishes were average. Overall, really disappointing.

29/10/2025: We did not stay here fortunately but were looking for a quick lunch in the village. This was the worst dining experience during our holiday and possibly one of the worst meals ever. After a long wait we got a table. We didn’t expect culinary delights but we thought how hard it is to ruin a soup or a pasta in Piedmont? Both were bland and worst examples of the same dishes on this trip. But it’s the main course which stood out: both short ribs and cod stew were inedible. When the waiter noticed that we left our plates virtually untouched and was told what was wrong he did absolutely nothing about it. Same with the restaurant manager who calmly accepted our money and sounded surprised that their food was bad. Other diners were complaining in the restaurant both about the wait and quality of food. Not sure how you can act as if you haven’t heard this before? Instead she managed to inflate some prices on the bill and we paid over a 100 euros for this disgusting meal. It should be criminal offence to serve such terrible food!

26/12/2025: Great pizzeria with delicious pizzas and a huge selection! Friendly and helpful staff. The dessert was delicious too. I'd gladly go back anytime!

04/11/2025: Unfortunately, it's no longer the same pizzeria. It's called Italy or something similar. I didn't have a bad meal, but you certainly wouldn't have spent 90 euros for two at Drago 3. Why has everything changed and the name is the old one here? Misleading, please update the photo too. Thanks.

25/09/2025: We ate at the trattoria, but we didn't stay at the hotel. The staff was very kind, serving us even after 1:30 PM when other places were already closed. The food was good and reasonably priced. The house wine was good. Parking available.

16/08/2025: Guys, this is an old-school trattoria. The owners are kind but have been working hard for too long. It's a place from the '80s, but it does its job. The food is plentiful and really good. Lunch feels like you're at Grandma's.

16/07/2025: Everything was perfect... Impeccable service, delicious food, and fantastic organization. Communication with the owner and manager was priceless... With both of them, it was like talking to a friend who provides impeccable service. We even overcame the unexpected weather with results that exceeded all expectations (strong winds that lifted the umbrellas and a storm that thankfully only lasted 15 minutes). I couldn't have asked for more. Heartfelt thanks to Max, Fabio, and the entire dining room and kitchen team.

08/02/2026: Stayed 2 nights. The room was warm, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with a nice, clean bathroom! Great location with parking right in front. The restaurant-pizzeria serves excellent food and truly delicious pizzas (the baguette with grilled vegetables is special!), and the prices are reasonable. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and a shout out to the top pizza chef, Nicolò.

16/01/2026: Since I own a house, I only go there as a restaurant. It's a pleasant place, the food is quality, and I also enjoy their pizza. Although the dough is a bit thin for my taste, the ingredients are excellent. Service is perhaps a little slow.
