The cocktails are excellent and well-prepared. The only negatives: the lack of napkins on the table and the somewhat lengthy order taking process. Overall, however, a pleasant place for an aperitif.

23/11/2025: Impeccable service, the girl is incredibly kind and professional, the owners are friendly, and thanks also to the chefs who made it a point to change a dish (since I'm allergic to pepper), they prepared a simple but very good fresh tomato dish for me. I had a trio of appetizers and polenta with sausage; I'd say everything was good, but very simple. Recommended for its value.

06/12/2025: We met up for lunch after many years at this family-run restaurant. We found the place pleasantly renovated, the dishes carefully prepared and excellent, in keeping with local tradition. Don't miss the ravioli al plin with roast gravy, and finish on a sweet note with a delicious bunet and hazelnut cake!

01/12/2025: A quiet, simple place, very friendly staff, and a very light and well-seasoned pizza. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas and a variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses of meat and fish. The price is more than reasonable, but overall, very good!

22/11/2025: A restaurant we stumbled upon on the road during our trip: Cavallo Bianco is one of those mountain places where time has stood still, where you don't have to worry about the outdated decor or whether the food is served on classic, outdated white plates. The food was simple but good and plentiful: for €15, we ate two excellent traditional mountain appetizers, a plate of tagliatelle with ragù, and a braciola with baked potatoes. The owners are two elderly people who probably weren't expecting to see outsiders in the area on a cold, snowy autumn day... yet we were greeted with kindness and smiles, told family and local anecdotes, and the owner even helped me put on my coat, just as men used to do in times long forgotten. My husband told me this was our anniversary lunch (which is tomorrow), and I told him that a simple and authentic place like this will always be among my fondest memories.

15/02/2026: I went to Trattoria della Valle on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, and the experience was truly special. The place is charming, welcoming, and meticulously crafted: you immediately feel a familiar yet refined atmosphere. The food is incredibly fresh and high-quality, with a perfect menu from appetizer to dessert. You can clearly sense the passion in selecting the ingredients and preparing the dishes. Special praise goes to the owner: in addition to being extremely professional, she is friendly, knowledgeable, and truly makes every guest feel welcome. A perfect evening in every way. 05/02/2026: We booked one night at this property during a family food and wine weekend, a quadruple room with breakfast. The location is very convenient, in the center of Carrù, with free public parking in the nearby square. The property itself isn't bad either: an old building with period furnishings, perhaps a little dusty but pleasant. The rooms are spacious, and the small breakfast rooms (in renovated old cellars) are also charming. The problem with this hotel, however, lies in the service: despite the kindness of the staff—more so on the phone, I must say, since, in person, we only saw one girl who did a bit of everything—we first found the door locked and no one at reception (problem solved by calling), then the freezing room (13.5°C in late January!) and a bad smell coming from the bathroom (perhaps the drains?), and finally a breakfast (always cold!) with a vast selection of sweet and savory items, but all of it industrially sourced, like tarts, pastries, and croissants taken out of their packaging and placed on trays. Even the juices were terrible, made from concentrated powder diluted with water: but why? Wouldn't a more limited selection of at least average quality be better? And is it so difficult to heat a room before guests arrive, or to keep the dining areas warm? I don't understand... Anyway, all this for €150, which, while not excessive, is too much for such a service. I would not go back and I absolutely do not recommend it.

03/01/2026: We stayed one night in a room that was supposed to sleep four, but they simply added a bed between a sofa (which turned into a bed) and the double bed. The result was that there was barely any room to move around. The bathroom was large, but no bidet. The rooms were cold; when we returned from dinner (which we had eaten at another hotel), it was freezing. Breakfast was poor (only served between 9 and 10) and we ate in a room that was once again cold. I'm sorry, but our experience was decidedly negative.

08/12/2025: Very bad experience. I called to reserve a table for dinner. I should point out that we're coming from out of town, so we based our reservations on photos and reviews. We parked our camper in the rest area, so we moved, went into the village, found a place to park, and finally went looking for the restaurant, only to find it closed. If it weren't for a man who lives there, we would have been left standing there like idiots. I quickly called to find out, but no one answered. We returned to the rest area, and luckily there was room. And we found the owners at this hotel. But it was a huge disappointment. The place was incredibly cold, and the food was pleasant, nothing special. The waitress, the younger girl, was very nice, kind, and a great worker. But is it possible to make a reservation for dinner without letting them know that the restaurant is closed? I would never have eaten at a hotel there. Bad experience.

14/02/2026: Family-run hotel, respectful of Piedmontese tradition. Quiet location, excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle to the slopes, just 3 minutes away. They even offered us a free late checkout. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves skiing and the mountains.
