28/05/2026: I would like to express a negative opinion regarding the catering service offered by Mauro's restaurant for our wedding reception. The lunch served during the event did not meet our contractual agreement and, more importantly, did not reflect, either in quality or presentation, the "rehearsal lunch" we had previously had at the restaurant, which was the basis for our choice. Another critical point was the owner's attitude, which was unhelpful, surly, and arrogant, particularly when requesting and collecting the agreed-upon fees. This created an unpleasant and unsuitable situation for such a significant event. Regarding the pastry shop, despite being outsourced, we also encountered issues with pricing, resulting in a lack of clarity and transparency in the overall financial management. Overall, the experience was disappointing, both in terms of service and in terms of human and professionalism, which are crucial aspects when it comes to a unique event like a wedding.

05/05/2026: A business lunch break at this restaurant in the center of Cuorgnè. The restaurant is casual, simple, yet welcoming and clean. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Service is quite fast and punctual. The menu is varied and offers typical local dishes with a wide selection of appetizers, starters, and main courses. The dishes are excellent and plentiful, with attention to detail. Although the kitchen isn't the fastest, the food is tasty, prepared with care and attention. Ample parking is available in front of the restaurant. Prices are average and consistent with the menu. Highly recommended.

04/05/2026: I tried this pizzeria on the border with Moncalieri in Turin with friends. We had a farinata (very good), a pizza with a creamed zucchini and mint base (Umami pizza), and a pizza della nonna (grandma's pizza) with meatballs. The latter was good, although the intense tomato flavor overpowered the stracciatella and meatball flavor. The Umami pizza was fresh and unique, but I wasn't thrilled. The farinata was very, very good. The waitress was very kind and professional, and the prices were average. The dough was good: I'll be back to try other pizzas.

01/05/2026: I went to eat here with friends and tried a pizza della nonna and an umami pizza with a zucchini and mint base. I also tried the farinata. The dough was very good, the pizzas were flavorful and had a nice crust. The pizza with the zucchini cream base was particularly delicious and original. Highly recommended.

Excellent dinner, beautiful mountain-style restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very welcoming rooms, excellent and plentiful breakfast. Reasonable and reasonable prices. A weekend to be enjoyed again in the splendid Lanzo Valleys.

07/05/2026: We lunched here on our first day in Gavi, and we were delighted with everything. Hearty local cuisine at a modest price. The waitress was very helpful, and managed to rustle up a side salad, which wasn’t on the menu. Very good bread selection, very good value.

26/04/2026: Fabulous!! I've rarely eaten so well. We ate outside in the garden, which is actually the same as the castle's, only separated by a low fence. They offered us the tasting menu, with excellent appetizers: the veal with tuna sauce was delicious, the flan was exquisite, with or without bagna cauda, ​​and then a toma from a local producer, exceptional, with an equally delicious sauce. The first course was paglia e fieno (strawberry and hay) topped with toma from the same producer as the appetizer, as was the butter, with sage and nettles; a truly exquisite pasta. For the second course, a roast beef with potatoes, a meat that melted in your mouth. For dessert, a zabaglione with hazelnut cake, also delicious!! The price was more than fair, without wine (I don't drink), €32 per person. Simona and the chef are truly sweet and pleasant! We'll be back!!

01/04/2026: I had lunch at the inn on Sunday, March 29, while passing through on my way to Siena. Magnificent place, excellent food; I really enjoyed the pappardella with Cinta ragù and the guanciale. The price was reasonable for the quality of the ingredients served.

27/04/2026: A stopover with a wonderful dinner. We were welcomed like royalty and treated like emperors. Such lovely owners, truly wonderful hosts. The rooms are simple and very clean; if the hotel is full, it might be a bit noisy. However, it's ideal for a short stay. The Ligurian rabbit dish was particularly memorable. The professional wine recommendation was also excellent. We'll be dreaming about the crostata for breakfast for a long time.

The dining room, furnished with works of art and decorated in soft, soothing colors, welcomes guests with a pleasant sense of tranquility. The wine list features an enviable selection of Barbarescos and offers from outside Piedmont to suit every taste. Traditional dishes made with quality ingredients guarantee a satisfying meal and will inspire a desire to return soon to this small, off-the-beaten-path town.

12/05/2026: A total disappointment, we went today for Mother's Day, convinced that given the reviews that I would have a great time, the waiter, after taking the order, served everyone who had arrived after us along with his colleague, after an hour nothing had arrived, not even a single dish, only the bread, and many of those who had arrived after us had even left because they had finished, and they also looked at us surprised that no one had brought us anything to eat, we called him after a while, so after the hour, he arrived with two spaghetti with seafood completely forgetting the appetizer, but it didn't end there, I sent the plate of spaghetti back waiting for the appetizer, and after twenty minutes an appetizer arrived with 4 small pieces of fish placed in a jumble, he forgot my side of grilled vegetables that I had ordered, there were two of us and we couldn't wait to escape, in the meantime I was in the second hour to see at least the grilled fish arrive, two hours had passed, when I asked the waiter why this nightmare was happening, he said that he had gotten strangely confused while serving everyone those who arrived after us looked at us, (Is it better to serve regular customers first? But be careful, new ones could be potential customers who bring groups of friends) He was confused, we were highly disappointed, very very poor dishes, very little fish, but for the spaghetti half a kilo of pasta!! obviously.!!. I really don't recommend this restaurant based on my experience, total disinterest in the cuisine, there was a lot of movement for the pizzas, almost everyone was eating pizza, probably they don't care about the cuisine at all, just say it's a pizzeria! And remove the wording restaurant! Never happened, I don't recommend it for those who want to eat everything based on fish, I'm telling many people about my terrible experience, I was very disappointed in the end when I went out next to the pizzeria there is a pastry shop I consoled myself by eating sweets in the pastry shop next door, and incredible but true!
