22/05/2025: A real discovery, thanks to some friends of ours (yes, friends are useful): an intimate, elegant and unpretentious place, commendable and courteous service from the owner, cuisine of both aesthetic and qualitative level. Portions that are not exaggerated, which therefore make it possible to taste everything and more, I even had a second helping of desserts! A gourmet evening as well as very relaxing, also auspicious to have had a small room at our complete disposal. Compliments.

05/07/2025: Pretty good food, but the service seems a bit bored and grumpy. The ambiance is very nice.

05/07/2025: Stopped by for lunch on a quiet day. Prompt and polite service. Excellent location and little away from the cluster of restaurants by the port. The mixed salad and main course were high quality. Prices are very fair for the quality. Nothing to dislike. Will visit again.

12/06/2025: We had a wonderful evening there with our family. The service was impeccable, even touching, and the dishes/wines were excellent, refined, and original... It was our dad's birthday (70!) and we will keep a great memory of this place. Thank you!!!

18/05/2025: Nous étions une grande table, nous avons commandé. Pour l’entrée erreur sur une des commandes, ensuite ils ont oublié un plat. Quand le plat est enfin arrivé, après que tout le reste de la table ait fini son assiette il s’est avéré que les pâtes n’étaient pas cuites. Elles ont été renvoyées et nous n’avons pas demandé à ravoir un plat car nous ne voulions pas attendre encore 20 minutes pour ce plat. Nous avons commandé le dessert, qui lui n’a pas subi de problème. Au moment de la note (850€ pour la table) ils avaient facturé le plat que nous avons renvoyé. J’ai trouvé ça dommage. Ils oublient le plat, finalement le servent pas cuit avec 20 minutes de retard et le facturent. Toutefois il faut noter que les plats servis étaient excellents. Ce mauvais pas de service n’enlève rien à la qualité du repas. La tarte tatin a l’oignon était incroyable, ainsi que le cabillaud en croûte d’herbes.

10/06/2025: For us it was not a holiday but a relaxing day not in summer, apparently everything was nice and welcoming, but the second course with veal Valdostana was a dish that came out of the freezer, not to mention the side dish requested asparagus... Only stems arrived, excellent wine I don't remember the name, we asked for a second one the lady politely watered it down. Well what can I say not everyone can be fine. We will be happy to give you great publicity

18/06/2025: Ho provato un aperitivo analcolico; molto delicato, servito con patatine e tre piattini raffinati. Forse avrei messo meno ghiaccio nel cocktail. Ambiente elegante in centro ad Alessandria. Lo consiglio e sicuramente ci tornerò per provare i piatti della cucina.

29/06/2025: We had dinner at this pizzeria a week ago, choosing two types of pizza dough. Both good and with fresh and tasty products, good homemade desserts and correct portions. Very kind staff, prices in line with a pizzeria, service perhaps a little slow...

15/06/2025: I already knew La Limonaia through work experience, but yesterday I finally went to enjoy a dinner with the tasting menu and it confirmed what I already thought. Cesare is a very talented chef and he put together an exceptional tasting journey that, honestly, moved me and I will remember forever. The dinner lasted about 3 hours, but I think it's the right amount of time to enjoy the experience and enjoy the culinary journey that has several courses. I've always liked the place, in the garden it almost seems like you're not in the city. Excellent service. I will definitely return to try other dishes!

10/06/2025: Very well-kept and very welcoming environment, very young staff. Decidedly sparse menu, very few dishes offered. Ate well but below expectations, Considering the prices of each individual course, the portions are small Very slow service. Excellent small pastries. The quality/price ratio can be improved.

23/05/2025: I CELEBRATED MY BIRTHDAY ON THURSDAY EVENING IN THIS PLACE WITH THE FAMILY AND WE WERE PAMPERED ALL EVENING BY KINDNESS AND PROFESSIONALISM. THE EXCELLENT CUISINE AND IT WAS A DISCOVERY OF FLAVOURS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

26/06/2025: Friendly and fast service The Fassona tartare with saffron sauce and the salmon on homemade bread with burrata, delicious and tasty Excellent value for money (bottle of house sparkling water for €1👍🏼)

17/06/2025: I had dinner in the outdoor area. The food was good, but not exceptional. The service was quick and efficient. I would have nothing to say if the prices were more affordable. My rating drops drastically for the absolutely senseless quality-price ratio. Since the location is not really the strong point, spending so much I expect a much higher quality of food.

20/06/2025: Our last evening in Torino and it was the best. We didn’t have language issue as the youngest member of this team (it is a family run restaurant) helped us explain all those food options available tonight, in detail, including recommendations based on our dietary needs (one of us is vegetarian). Seating indoor and outdoor (in private backyard and not on the street) are very agreeable. Taste, reflective of quality and freshness was par excellence. Only one surprise (a pleasant one) was that besides all the good things about Piola Da Celso, the expense was way far below our expectations.

15/06/2025: Excellent pizzeria, more Cilentan than Neapolitan...with the innovation of the pizza rolled out with a rolling pin...a novelty...obviously on request you can also have the classic Neapolitan pizza with a high edge...good prices if compared to the quality....service not exactly optimal...but..in many places it's like that nowadays...

17/06/2025: I ate here during the Oropa walk, you can choose the pilgrim's menu for 15 euros including 4 starters, first course, dessert, coffee, water and wine, 20 euros with the addition of the second course, no dish disappointed me and they also stop by to ask if you want seconds, highly recommended!

29/04/2025: This evening, after a long time, I went to eat toast. It was done by a very kind and super helpful girl (Desirée) who made me a super good toast. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

23/06/2025: Stopped by on Friday at noon, I had been hoping for years that it would reopen, I used to go there around 2010 for work reasons, well I was favorably impressed by the location; The girls who run it are very courteous and professional as well as gracious. Ordered fusilli with tomato sauce, excellent; tuna meat really exquisite, it seemed like home-made (and that's a great compliment), side dish of Spinach, perfectly boiled and delicious Mashed Potatoes. Very honest price (I'm a truck driver and I know a few restaurants/Trattorias...); Compliments to the Staff, keep it up!
