Il terrazzo vista lago è certamente la killer application di questo ristorante ma siccome ha pochi posti vi consiglio di prenotare per essere certi godervi la vista incantevole! Cucina del territorio (Lago e Monti) nella media, senza particolare carattere!

05/06/2025: Nice restaurant on Lake Maggiore. Lots of tables inside. The tables on the verandas are charming with a nice view of the lake. The furniture is a bit dated but spacious. Food cooked very well, with lake fish dishes. Not abundant dishes. Small parking lot.

The wine and aperitif list is well thought out and perfectly matches the dishes offered, which are well-prepared and of a good standard. The staff is kind, prepared and always attentive to the needs of the customers. Perfect for a business lunch or a relaxed dinner or a family aperitif. Recommended!

04/05/2025: Excellent dinner with typical Piedmontese cuisine. We ate cold and hot appetizers (excellent the giardiniera and the vitello with tuna sauce). The tajaring with courgettes and tomatoes was very good and the lamb cooked to perfection. The nougat semifreddo concluded the evening. There is no menu to consult and you will also find different dishes depending on the day. The service was great. If you are in the area don't miss the opportunity to eat here.

15/01/2025: Very nice place, excellent food and the waitress who served us was very kind and professional. I give one star, despite myself, for what I imagine is the owner. When it was time to pay, the gentleman asked us if we wanted a single receipt and at "our" house the single receipt means a single bill, after a couple of seconds of back and forth he tells us "I don't care, just pay ” all pissed off We were very sorry as the lunch was spent in a super pleasant way but this farewell could have been saved. In the hope that he will learn education and the value of hospitality. Greetings from Turin, where hospitality is a must.

13/05/2025: I was lucky enough to have lunch at the Tacabanda restaurant in Asti and I was so impressed by the experience that in June I returned with some friends for dinner. The restaurant is an old Piedmontese tavern, with vaulted brick ceilings and floor-to-ceiling wine shelves. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is attentive and professional. But what really makes Tacabanda special is the social commitment that distinguishes it. The restaurant is in fact part of the Albergo Etico project, which offers a job and training opportunity to young people with disabilities. This aspect struck me a lot, because it shows that it is possible to combine ethics and business, and offer everyone the opportunity to fulfill themselves. The food is excellent, prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients and the choice of wines is truly interesting. In conclusion, the Tacabanda restaurant is an experience that I recommend to everyone. It is a place where you can enjoy excellent Piedmontese cuisine, in a welcoming atmosphere and supporting an extraordinary social project.

02/06/2025: We went to dinner at this place during the Champions League finals. We ordered an appetizer and 4 sandwiches and 4 beers to drink. The beers arrived immediately but the food did not arrive for the next hour and a half. When we asked for explanations, we were told that the kitchen was jammed with orders due to the high flow of people inside the place. When we decided to leave, there was no displeasure and even no apologies. It is absurd that a pub kitchen cannot even turn out a portion of chips in 90 minutes.

21/05/2025: I went with my husband for lunch on Saturday 17/05/25 at this restaurant, I can only give it 5 well-deserved stars! We did the tasting: appetizers with cold cuts and pickles, 2 first courses and for the second course polenta with 4 different types of meat, dessert, coffee and bitter, house wine to accompany everything... Everything was really excellent, the quality/price ratio is really cheap and you eat really well. The place is very well looked after and the view is spectacular. The staff is smiling and very helpful. We will definitely be back! Compliments indeed!

Traditional Piedmontese dishes and delicious desserts make this trattoria ideal for a quick lunch or for a more important occasion. The outdoor area is pleasant, the spaces, even if not particularly elegant, make you feel at home. The plus is certainly offered by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff: congratulations!
