05/10/2025: The food is decent, there are some original proposals, however they should season the dishes less, especially avoiding pressing sauces that cover the taste of the main ingredient.

01/10/2025: The menu said...Tagliata with porcini mushrooms, the most expensive on the menu at €18. When it arrived, there was a very thin grilled steak, full of arugula, and an attempt at porcini mushrooms, VERY LITTLE AND RAW. The strong flavor of the arugula neutralized any possible flavor of the porcini mushrooms. When I complained and said that this wasn't a tagliata, the waitress responded by saying that the chef thanked me for the information. The bill was counted as tagliata. I WILL DEFINITELY NOT RETURN.

12/10/2025: A gem among the rice fields of Vercelli. At Locanda dell'Orso, you come for the food, but you stay for the atmosphere: familiar, well-kept, authentic. The kind of place that makes you feel like a guest, not a customer. The fried porcini mushrooms are exceptional: crispy on the outside, plump on the inside, served with a simplicity that leaves room for flavor. The breading is tasty but not overpowering, respecting and enhancing the mushrooms. The risotto is perfectly creamed, cooked al dente, and has a fragrance that anticipates the flavor. The staff is kind and attentive, with the courtesy born from a love for their work. The outdoor terrace is a little corner of rustic paradise, with a small herb garden that fills the air with fragrant scents. We found the mint and sage that enhanced our sorbets here. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

12/10/2025: They make you wait without any empathy to offer you a tiny table, and the food is 2 out of 5. High prices for what they offer. The restaurant is in a strategic location next to the main street, but I recommend looking for another one if you can because you won't remember it when you leave, except that you paid ten euros more per diner than eating at any other restaurant there.

13/10/2025: Exceptional service: it's the face of the place, with unwavering helpfulness and a sense of homeliness that they convey so well. The staff knows their stuff, and it's a truly welcoming, informal yet tastefully decorated trattoria. There's little to say about the food (and plenty to try for yourself): delicious, beautifully cooked, filling portions, and truly well-prepared. Finally, the ambiance deserves a special mention, as it's a hallmark of the place's quality. If you're in the area, Trattoria D'Asti is a must-visit for a truly satisfying lunch. Prices are reasonable and not excessive for both the quality and quantity of food. Highly recommended.

06/10/2025: You absolutely must visit! Surrounded by nature, in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The food is plentiful and delicious: the dishes are generous, authentic, and of excellent quality. A perfect place to relax and enjoy true traditional cuisine!

02/11/2025: Do not go here! We ordered the white truffle. It was bland and no taste what so ever. It was a scam because they tried to scam us by putting 24 grams used but we only used 16 grams of truffle. It was 7 euros per gram so it was much money they tried to steal. The service and food was dreadful and they were mot friendly. This was my birthday and it was a shame to celebrate it at Rossobarolo. Do not go here my friends.

02/11/2025: Cheating with the weight of white truffles and it didn't taste like anything! Scammers!! We took a picture of the weight before they started tearing, they took out a film from their camera where it clearly showed that they cheated so they had to change the price but couldn't count!

17/10/2025: We came to Briancon on Wednesday for lunch. Abdul and the waitresses were very nice. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The polenta and sausage were delicious. Thanks, see you next time.

01/06/2025: 77 years of revelry, I have eaten in the best Italian, French and Spanish restaurants (almost always avoided the starred ones). Sure that I can include this restaurant in the best in terms of quality, service, courtesy etc. among all those I have tried in my past, I am writing this review not because of the enthusiasm of the first time, but after several times in which I have been in the countryside of Cuneo. I can only compliment, even on improvised and off-menu dishes, always perfect, with very fresh ingredients and worthy of seconds, impossible to do for the abundant quantities served. Price adequate (low) for the service and quality eaten. Too bad that my age will not allow me to frequent this restaurant for much longer, it deserves it

18/05/2025: Abbiamo avuto l'onore di conoscere questo ottimo ristorante siciliano , accoglienza ottima i titolari cordiali, gentili, atmosfera rilassante,servizio ottimo con il titolare Giovanni che ti accoglie in modo semplice , persona simpatica e molto piacente, che dire del cibo ottimo preparato con cura dalla moglie complimenti,il pesce freschissimo tutti gli ingredienti amalgamati con cura ,gusti delicati ,profumati, che dire scapho,i dolci ottimi dalla cassata, al cannolo siciliano un esplosione di gusto e sapori, arte e poesia per il palato ci torneremo con immenso piacere.. grazie mille

12/09/2025: I had an aperitif, everything was fine, the service was good, friendly and polite. The only downside, and I'm disappointed because it might mean I won't plan anything more challenging, is the restrooms.

07/09/2025: I was here for the mothers' preparations for a wonderful wedding. I arrived very early, in the dark, and it's not very visible. A more visible sign would be needed! The rooms were very beautiful and clean! Congratulations!!!

11/10/2025: Both the restaurant and the pizza are very, very good, no complaints there, the dishes will truly surprise us! I went during the week and the service was a bit slow due to the lack of staff. I'll have to try it on the weekend...
