31/05/2025: Good morning, the place is beautiful, clean, quiet, table set with simplicity, clean tablecloths, very nice service; the food is well prepared, the cook, Stefania, is good, she used local ingredients, she was very kind even in worrying about replacing the meat in the dishes prepared, I thank you for the consideration shown towards me; if you like to have dinner or lunch in a flower garden this is your place. Pay attention to the sign that indicates it: in this period with so much vegetation it is a bit difficult to see it; good food to everyone!

09/05/2025: I have lived in Occhieppo Inferiore since I was born, but I had never come to the Taverna del Gufo. What have I missed over the years! The place is very, very welcoming and immediately gives off an extremely familiar and comfortable atmosphere. Top and high level service, the waiters are very trained and competent. The quality of the food is very high, certainly prepared by staff who have been doing this job for many years, with care and a lot of passion. Price absolutely in line with the high quality offered. I will gladly go back, since I also live very close to it!

31/05/2025: But how much I love coming to lunch here. Even for us vegans there is a wide choice.. Not that they offer you the usual grilled vegetables and salad.. The burritos are too good!

30/03/2025: Sono 50 anni che frequento periodicamente questo storico ristorante. Da sempre gestito dalla stessa famiglia. Rivedere ogni volta la titolare che ti saluta all'arrivo ti riporta alla mente momenti felici di tanto tempo fa'. Se si pretende la ricercatezza dei ristoranti stellati non entrate nemmeno ma se amate la cucina sincera e genuina questo è il posto giusto. Antipasto misto, primo e secondo a scelta, dolce. Tutto molto buono ed abbondante. Prezzo fisso € 30,00 La gentilezza e velocità del servizio compresi nel prezzo. Bravi. Continuate così per altri 50 anni. Consigliato.

When the time came to be in the field, I can say that everything I read, observed and studied was revealed in the dishes, in the service, in the structure. A beautiful experience, a huge wealth of advice and experiences. A structure from another time, without frills without limits. Only heart and so much passion. 08/06/2025: After an interesting visit to Olivetti in Ivrea we were looking for a nice place to have lunch... And voilà! Magnificent place, romantic veranda, sublime dishes, impeccable service. Mrs. Ornella, refined, friendly and elegant welcomed us in this location overlooking Lake Viverone. Highly recommended!

Exemplary dishes, carefully prepared, cooked to perfection. Tasty raw fish, tagliolini with whitefish, mojito sorbet with candied fruit. Excellent wines from the greenhouse, quick and kind service

19/05/2025: excellent food, friendly service. I needed to have lunch very early because I had a train shortly after, but despite this they made me sit down and the service was fast. the Russian salad was very good.
