04/04/2026: Amazing place with a beautiful suite looking towards the mountains. Food was great at the pizzeria. I had the best ribs in Italy here. Staff spoke English and were very friendly.

23/03/2026: We stayed for two nights celebrating a birthday. We felt welcome and the personnel were very friendly. First night we enjoyed pizza and those were very tasty with a lot of toppings. The second night we dined in the restaurant and that was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered appetizers and the first course, and my wife ordered just the second course. Her plate was delivered at the same time as my appetizers, which was too early. My first course was the exotic spaghetti on the menu, but I didn't enjoy how it tasted -- it was a mix of anchovies and seaweed. The dinner was definitely a low point of our experience. Breakfast was great and plentiful, and the room we stayed in was clean. Overall we were happy so thanks again to the lovely personnel!

The service was impeccable, too, with very friendly waiters. If you want to eat well and spend a fair amount, you can't miss Ristorante Del Vecchio Borgo.

20/12/2025: It's not the first time I've dined here, and it won't be the last! Today I also had the appetizer samples, which were amazing, and all four were different from the last time I was here a month ago! This surprised me because it means they update and vary the menu very often so as not to tire the customers. At the same time, however, there are some dishes that have become a regular, like the gnocchi with Robiola di Roccaverano cheese, which are always fantastic! The portions are generous, as you can see from the photos, but there's no risk of having any left over! Francesca and Valentina are two excellent hosts, always smiling and kind. If you want to enjoy lunch or dinner in an excellent restaurant, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Excellent dinner, beautiful mountain-style restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very welcoming rooms, excellent and plentiful breakfast. Reasonable and reasonable prices. A weekend to be enjoyed again in the splendid Lanzo Valleys.

The fish was excellent and of a higher quality than anywhere else in Verbania, the prices were reasonable for the effort and quality of the place, and the atmosphere was quiet and elegant. The best seafood restaurant in Verbania, we'll definitely be back. A true Champions League dinner 😉
