16/06/2025: Found by chance... A very pleasant surprise!!! I was alone, on a business trip and I hadn't booked, but they immediately sat me down at a table in their deor. The staff was incredibly kind. The girl who served me immediately asked me if I had any intolerances or allergies and, once I told her I was vegetarian, she listed a series of options for me to choose from. Before the appetizer, they brought me two welcome plates to ease the wait (very little) before the appetizer: a tigella and rice with vegetables. Appetizer: two very tasty vegetarian cakes with strong but well-mixed flavors First course: a Carnaroli risotto with mint, goat cheese and other ingredients that, unfortunately, I don't remember. Guys, how delicious!!!!! An incredible explosion of flavor. What can I say... I highly recommend it because it's worth it in every way!!! I hope to return soon!!!

22/06/2025: It was not a popular voice, but a very beautiful and kind young lady who told us about this place to eat lunch, and now that lunch is over, all we can do is say "thank you from the bottom of our hearts, sweet Vale." Located on the edge of the historic center of Saluzzo, this restaurant seems anonymous in its presentation but, once you enter, in this charming place, you are kidnapped by a smile that cheers the heart, a truly genuine welcome and full of healthy passion, moreover, once you are seated, this young lady introduces you with infinite grace and sweetness, an accurate speech while her gaze shines so much that, it makes you dream, of the menu that you will go to taste. Applause like at the premiere of the Scala, here we find ourselves in the cave of a starred future, dishes of an impeccable care, combinations of flavors that leave you amazed. Their tempura, ah! How wonderful and then.. A tear on the dessert with the Zabaione... In short, gentlemen..if there were 7 stars it would be said..well done, so what's left to say, Thanks to this young couple who love their work and helped by their staff..they give pearls of mastery to anyone, leaving the flavors in the heart and mind while you happily leave. 04/06/2025: YOU WON'T FIND AN INNIKE LIKE THIS ANYWHERE!!! We stayed at Gianfranco's in mid-May, unaware of where we were going; it was the best choice! A well-kept location and impeccably clean, rooms with every type of comfort (very comfortable beds) and tastefully furnished. The second icing on the cake is the attention that the owner gives to you and the needs of your stay. The cuisine is comparable to starred restaurants both for taste and quality, and for attention to detail, menus with typical Monviso and Piedmontese dishes with zero-mile vegetables from the property's garden, Gianfranco is also an expert wine enthusiast and boasts a cellar with an astonishing number of labels, he will surely be able to recommend the right one for your palate. Fabulous location at the foot of Monviso, convenient for anyone who wants to visit the area. Prices considering the type of service and honest quality! We will return without a shadow of a doubt!

07/07/2025: I returned after many years to this restaurant in Bussolino di Gassino. Just as I remembered it. This time I had lunch in the outdoor terrace. Food was always plentiful, even too much. Rich choice of cold and hot appetizers. Double choice of first courses. Agnolotti or tagliolini with mushrooms or with wild boar ragù (really good). Meat trolley with three types of cut, two beef and one pork. In addition, we asked for a taste of the Piedmontese mixed fried food (it should have been a taste but it was very plentiful) and finally the dessert trolley and you can taste all of them and finally, on request (I took it), zabaglione prepared on the spot with marsala and moscato with double cornmeal paste. Bulk wine in quantity, water in quantity, coffee and a bottle of bitter prepared by them branded De Filippi left on the table. I would say a pantagruelian meal. Highly recommended. At 50 euros per person, I would say well spent.

29/06/2025: We went here for dinner on a trip to Alba. The environment is very cozy, a nicely decorated courtyard, which even though it is just a stone's throw from the center, is neither noisy nor messy. The inn is run by a family, which is noticeable in the welcoming environment and the relaxed atmosphere. We received fantastic service and the staff always answered our questions and explained, among other things, the difference between different wines we tried. In addition to the regular menu, there was also a pasta with freshly caught seafood and a menu with dishes of the day, which we ordered from. Before the food arrived, we were surprised with a very good starter. I ordered a spiralotti with gorgonzola sauce and walnuts, which was absolutely heavenly. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious and they also offered grated parmesan on top, which we accepted. The size of the portions is perfectly just right in my opinion, enough to fill you up but not nauseating. Afterwards, we each drank an espresso, as we were too full for any dessert. When we went in to pay, we talked to the woman at the cashier for a long time and also got to taste a delicious liqueur from the area. In conclusion, I can highly recommend coming here to eat, and I can't wait for the next time I'm here!

29/06/2025: Great little restaurant here. Very welcoming and helpful service. The only place I’ve seen in the area that offers risotto for 1 person. The food was delicious - especially the risotto!
