22/10/2024: Modern and welcoming farmhouse style with swimming pool. The managers Marco and Luciana, nice and very kind, he in the kitchen, excellent quality, she in the dining room but also prepares excellent desserts, biscuits and pastries for breakfast as well as a delicious Genoese focaccia! Good quality/price ratio

25/02/2025: The Dolce Manna Pastry Shop is a true excellence! Every time I enter, I am greeted by the irresistible scent of freshly baked desserts and the kindness of the staff. Their creations are a perfect mix of tradition and innovation, I personally love their stuffed croissants and the cube croissant! If you are in Biella and love desserts, this must be a must.

05/03/2025: Passing through Turin we jumped at the chance to have dinner on Sunday evening at this restaurant. We immediately appreciated the owner's willingness to accommodate us on the menu choices (his wife eats less than me). Appreciation that then transferred to the quality of the dishes, absolutely tasty (above all the seitan from La Profumata. What a pleasure!!!). It was an encounter that we will not forget and that we hope to repeat. Compliments to the kitchen and the staff as well as a special thanks to Eduardo Ferrante for the very pleasant chat at the end of the dinner.

Abbiamo degustato vari piatti in serate diverse, tutto al top, una cucina importante, gusti decisi e perfettamente equilibrati, lo chef Graziano sempre presente, da colazione a cena, gentilissimo, un ristorante che per location, servizio, e cucina dovrebbe già da tempo avere una stella. Gliela diamo noi e tutti gli ospiti che, a giudicare dalle recensioni, la pensano in egual modo. Complimenti!!!! Non vediamo l’ora di tornare

13/02/2025: Absolutely sensational. We discovered this restaurant as soon as we moved to Virle and from that moment we fell in love with it. Very good food, really, fantastic staff, the owner himself goes around the tables when present, making sure that everything goes well, it is not taken for granted and is much appreciated, endless courses, incomparable quality for the price. Just writing the review and remembering all the wonderful dishes (from Russian salad to tomini with honey) is making me hungry. We continue to recommend it to everyone and not a single person has been disappointed. Upon request they also make vegetarian changes to the (fixed) menu, it is essential to notify them in advance. See you soon!

25/02/2025: Excellent experience. The food is of excellent quality, excellent presentation; a traditional menu but with research into innovation. You can perceive the care taken in the preparation. The presentation of the dishes is also excellent. The service is impeccable, the dining room staff is present and very attentive to detail. The place is very welcoming. Absolutely to return.

24/02/2025: Perfect service and location, the food for the price offered I would have expected something better. The Crispino is not bad at the norm The puree was not a real puree but something freeze-dried (if they had added nutmeg it would have at least covered a little). The duck leg was good but really skimpy, with two slices of potatoes. The dessert is barely saved

16/02/2025: ⭐ 1 Star – Disappointing Experience If you enjoy waiting endlessly for your food, struggling to get a waiter’s attention, and being served the wrong dishes at every stage of your meal, then Il Clandestino might be for you. Unfortunately, for those of us who expect even basic hospitality, it’s an overpriced disaster. Even with an advance reservation. Our dinner took an excruciating 2.5 hours, with each course arriving at a glacial pace. The staff were impossible to flag down, and when the food finally arrived, it was wrong every single time. When we politely pointed this out, instead of an apology, the chef’s response was arrogant and dismissive, telling us that if we wanted “express dining,” there were 120 other restaurants in Stresa to choose from. A baffling attitude for a place charging these prices. Fine dining doesn’t mean slow, inattentive service and inflated prices for the privilege of being ignored. Stresa has plenty of fantastic restaurants—unfortunately, this is not one of them. Note: you will see the owner (chef) has responded below. One cannot add any words to this. His attitude and contempt for customers is self evident in his response. Some people are just better off not being in any service business.

08/02/2025: What can I say, a dinner that was an experience. Fish cuisine, refined and good dishes, but above all which express the personality of the chef, smart and very friendly. Excellent cellar and excellent suggestions also on the right wines to pair with the dishes. Location in the centre, very welcoming and well maintained. Cost in line, definitely worth it.

05/02/2025: Extremely nice restaurant, we ate very well. Pizza with porcini mushrooms is excellent, focaccia Saporita just as well. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. I recommend 👍👍

03/02/2025: Family-run establishment where nothing is overlooked. Very welcoming room in which there are hygiene products of their production, impeccably managed restaurant, high quality food and truly romantic atmosphere, breakfast as we like it, not a huge serial buffet but selected dishes of their own exquisite production. Visit to the cellar and tasting managed by a truly knowledgeable young sommelier who understood our tastes and recommended excellent wines which we willingly purchased. You can see the family's pride in doing things as best as possible. This season we did not enjoy the beautiful outdoor space with swimming pool, but the beautiful and organized spa made us forget about the bad weather. Really recommended. Strategic point to comfortably visit the Langhe towns.

The place is nice, clean and welcoming. Perfect for a quick break or for a work lunch 🍽️. The food is ok, and the staff is super friendly 😊, it makes you feel at home, and you want a well-made coffee 👍 Highly recommended
