24/04/2025: This was simply the best restaurant dinner I have had in a very long time. It has a range of dishes from traditional Piemontese to more eclectic. The portions are not small: after a starter and primo I couldn't finish the secundo (a shame because it was so good). The poached egg starter was good and the rabbit very good. The Risotto primo was top class and the braised veal and amberjack fish secundi were really excellent. But the prices are actually low for the quality, comparable to other restaurants nearby: starters are €15 to €19, same for primi, and €21 to €27 for secundi. Desserts are €9. The desserts are amazing and the dessert/pastry chef has real talent; other reviews talk about the porcini mushroom dessert and it's even better than they say: it has to be tasted to be believed. The service is excellent. One of us is coeliac (Gluten free) and they adjusted dishes e.g., amuse-bouche, dessert, where possible. The Gluten free bread was superior to most. Service was prompt but not intrusive. It's hard to oversell this place. Excellent food and service, and extremely good value.

01/06/2025: I got two take-out pizzas a short while ago, I can't use the word "scam" because the prices are low but just look at the photo to understand that Pizza is one thing while the badly leavened dough discs that produce another. The pizzas are small and too low, the taste of the dough is not what it should be and even the tomato is not as tasty as it should. I didn't perceive the garlic in the marinara, my tongue, eyes and nose didn't detect anything and getting the marinara wrong is really serious. The delivery times were almost immediate, that was the only positive thing. In short, therefore, this business thinks it makes pizza but the result is in line with the current average of kebab shops that, apparently, shame places that seem Neapolitan but are not at all. Stay away from this place and follow tradition, Pizza is research and passion and not a way to get by by making fun of customers. ...if only the man who works as a waiter avoided touching the glasses with his hands in the area where the lips rest, eh?! Incredible, crazy things.

27/05/2025: We happened to be in the area and given the dinner time we stopped at this pizzeria. Fried calzone and excellent pizzas, desserts one better than the other. A nice discovery. We will definitely be back. Kind and friendly managers and waiters. Highly recommended

04/05/2025: Homemade restaurant, family and informal environment! Dated but clean and managed with passion! The owner serves the tables with precision and courtesy, he explains the situation very well origin of the products and culinary choices! We had lunch outside under a beautiful pergola, with a mixed platter as an appetizer, a first course each (the very tasty gricia!!) and a sample of meat (braised meat and donkey mince) with polenta, dessert (supplied in collaboration with a local pastry shop), water, house wine and coffee! €47 per person! Generous portions, good product quality! Advised!! It is also pleasant to think that our lunch can "support" activities like this, managed at a family level with sacrifices and the intention of offering non-trivial products!

03/06/2025: A truly interesting location with a wide selection of wines, also serving as decor. The tartare was very good, seasoned as proposed. The only flaw: being alone, tell me beforehand that the menu has many choices for 2 people and there is no possibility of making a single portion (I don't understand what the difficulty is, since it is not about cooked dishes but about cold cuts and bruschetta)

25/05/2025: "I just spent a simply fantastic day at the Gallina Ristorante di Villa Sparina resort. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, the staff was impeccable and attentive to our every need. The quality of the food is exceptional, each dish is a work of art that explodes in the mouth. I tried the 7-course menu at the discretion of the chef and I can say that they were simply spectacular. The wine pairing suggested by the waiter completed the experience perfectly. And another thing that I really appreciated was the fact that the chef came to make sure at the various tables, including us, that everything was fine!! A true journey of flavors and no small wisdom in the pairings!! Highly recommended!

The welcome, the friendly and timely service, the good dishes with nice portions and perfectly presented, well-spaced tables, pleasant and quiet environment. Literally gigantic menu. The 7-course menu is really too much, I recommend the 5-course menu without exaggerating with the shoe otherwise you will regret it when dessert arrives... Price adequate for what is offered. Recommended and congratulations.

A place that makes people talk about it so well that it becomes a place that finds space in the reviews of the best influencers on the Internet! The food is good, but be careful!!! When choosing the second courses, I recommend using a recorder!!! The list is so long that you need several GB of memory to remember it all!!!. The price... a surprise!

04/06/2025: An unexpected discovery in the greenery of Grignasco During a business trip, I stopped by chance at Trattoria Dal Salmet, immersed in the tranquility of the Piedmont countryside. The location, surrounded by greenery, offers a relaxing and authentic atmosphere, ideal for a regenerating break. The menu of the day offered a variety of inviting dishes. I opted for gnocchi with wild boar sauce, followed by arrosticini accompanied by a grilled tomino and a parsley potato salad. All the dishes were prepared with quality ingredients and served in generous portions. The staff was courteous and attentive, helping to create a familiar and welcoming environment. If you find yourself in the Grignasco area, do not miss the opportunity to stop at Trattoria Dal Salmet. An authentic culinary experience that will leave you fully satisfied.

30/05/2025: A fairytale location, literally. It feels like being on a movie set, with obsessive attention to detail, elegance and refinement in perfect balance, without ever going overboard. In any season you are dazzled by the splendor of the colors and the magic of the lake with its reflections is exciting. The organizational machine is simply perfect, a mechanism that works with impeccable synchrony, from the welcome to the service in the room and the dedication with which the dishes are prepared is astonishing, from the quality of the raw materials to the final presentation. For ceremonies there is no better location, look no further, like Lago dei Salici you will not find anything that even comes close.

30/05/2025: For the staff and the truly fabulous place!! One of the best locations I have seen, a truly ideal place for photos, children and people who want to enjoy tranquility and peace. Ornella then, is a marvel!!!

01/06/2025: We spent 3 days in Alba and came back here everyday. We did the wine tasting each time. Tried new wines every time. All of the waiters and waitresses were lovely, and knew a lot about the wine. We also bought some wine for home. It was a nice place with a great atmosphere. They welcomed us back every time.

03/06/2025: The restaurant has a few tables inside (very close to each other, moreover) but many more outside, in summer it is more pleasant to be outside. You can take individual dishes or the menu: menu with a large salad plate, savory pie and drink €12, menu with a small salad plate with savory pie and drink €9 or menu with pizza. You can make up the salad with everything that is on the counter until you fill the bowl (small or large). It is self-service so they do not serve at the table and you also have to clear the table yourself. If you want, they will heat up the savory pie in the microwave, the rest are dishes that are mainly eaten cold.

23/05/2025: We had dinner outside, on the square: the location is very suggestive and quiet, the dishes are very good (the menu offers both the Piedmontese tradition and leaps into ethnic cuisine, such as the samosas with mango chutney, delicious!), the service is kind and very attentive (even to intolerances). Highly recommended!

22/05/2025: The kitchen hours were very flexible (which suited us very well) and the service was excellent. The food was very carefully prepared, and the overall price was more reasonable than we expected.
