04/10/2025: Very cozy, and everything is regional. Be sure to follow the owner's wine recommendation. Simply sensational. We were only here for a snack, but we'll be back to stay overnight.
17/09/2025: The short version of what I think of Cantina Alpina is "the best polenta in the Susa Valley."
To go further, I'll add:
- the tiny village of Eclause is experiencing a resurgence, thanks to exhibitions, concerts, and events organized by the winery;
- the staff is friendly and helpful;
- the polenta is amazing (but I may have already mentioned that);
- besides the polenta, everything else on the menu is delicious.
In short, a must-visit for mountain lovers.
Oh, and the price is very reasonable.

20/01/2026: The home made canola was great. Hot chocolate was uber thick, my wife even diluted it with water.(I way this with good meaning). Staff was friendly.
Reasons for four stars: first canola was just 1 at noon.. they should stack more of the star of the show... also too many people gather and it becomes unbearably loud inside...
14/01/2026: Good quality but outrageously expensive. I had not finished my coffee for more than five minutes when they asked me to leave because they needed the table. If you consider how expendive it was it is not correct.

07/11/2025: We visited this restaurant during the truffle fair, with high expectations for the menu and location. Upon arrival, we were welcomed downstairs into a room where the tables were far too close together and overcrowded, right next to the kitchen entrance. We had hoped to enjoy the view from the upstairs. I had also asked about the option of a birthday cake, but the only option was to choose a dessert from the menu and add a chocolate message on the plate and a candle. I think that for this price range, this arrangement and the lack of the option to personalize a dessert are unacceptable.

04/01/2026: This is the restaurant me and my husband got married at and for good reason. The service is absolutely amazing with everyone being extremely kind and helpful. The view and layout of the restaurant is amazing especially in summer with the sunset. The food is delicious every time we go. I recommend the seirass ravioli and the shrimps covered in hazelnuts. The gelato mantecato al momento is also delicious and. I absolutely recommend . If you’re looking for a fine dine you must go to la Ciau del tornavento when visiting treiso and its surroundings.

Homemade cuisine, set menus range from €13 to €16.
Neapolitan à la carte dishes range from €7 to €9 per dish. I went on weekdays. The sanctuary is the starting point for numerous hikes and mountain bike excursions.
27/12/2025: We had lunch both at Easter and Christmas this year and will definitely be back. The value for money is excellent. The table service is efficient and the staff are friendly. Compliments to the chef and all the staff.

The service is mostly selfie-style, but you can also order hot dishes like soup or pizza.
The savory pies and samosas are excellent.
The coffee is very good.
The atmosphere is warm and informal, making you feel right at home...
Excellent value for money.
A lovely place to return to!
