A truly enjoyable lunch at Vecchio Cipresso! A friend of mine and I found the location spectacular, surrounded by greenery and overlooking Lake Sirio, which makes the lunch special in itself.
The cuisine reinterprets traditional Piedmontese dishes with a modern twist, focusing on quality ingredients and seasonality. The service is friendly and professional, and the recommended wines pair beautifully with the dishes.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality lunch in a relaxing and charming setting. Prices are average, but overall quality is very good.

Sunday family lunch, always a sure thing. Despite the busy restaurant, we found good service, traditional dishes with a twist, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The location is a real highlight.

The restaurant has a very unique, beautiful, and pleasant atmosphere. Maybe it's all the old tables and the exposed stone walls. The menu offers a wide selection, all of excellent quality. The ingredients are excellent, and the dishes are all beautifully presented.
The wine list 🍷 isn't too extensive, but you'll find something to suit your taste.
The house mixed antipasto is definitely worth trying, as it lets you sample the best they have.

As a place to stay, this is certainly not a bad choice, even if the price-performance ratio is borderline.
I wouldn't recommend it as a place to stay on the lake.
While the rooms appear modern in their idyllic setting, the walls are damp and slightly moldy, and the rooms are thin and partly dark.
The bathrooms also have mildew stains.
The rooms are generally clean, though.
The advertised breakfast for overnight stays is rather simple and can be described as a DIY option. No service, other than preparing breakfast the day before in the fridge.
Eggs, sausage, and cheese – none at all.
Therefore, it's not really recommended for an overnight stay at €50 per person.
There are clearly better alternatives on the lake.
