29/09/2025: I've been going to this restaurant for years and find the food good, with less of a MSG flavor than other similar restaurants. Good value. The fried bread appetizer, always served while you wait for your food, is excellent, and their spicy sauce is top notch. For those who love spicy soup and salt-and-pepper shrimp, they're truly excellent here. Just be careful: if you don't specify the order in which you'd like your dishes to arrive, everything will arrive more or less at the same time, so half of it will be eaten cold.

26/10/2025: The best pizzeria in the Travedona area and surrounding areas! Loredana and Ilarito, the owners, are truly welcoming people! They take great care to make their customers feel comfortable and ensure they have a wonderful evening, whether as a couple, with family, or with friends! They pay particular attention to cleanliness and the ingredients! The pizza dough is excellent, the mozzarella and the ingredients are high-quality and tasty... the tomato... superb!!! Very good and not acidic! (As is the case with many pizzerias!) The broccoli rabe pizza is delicious... like all the others... and it doesn't "float in the oil"! Highly recommended!!! 02/10/2025: A very charming pastry shop that I've been frequenting for years. In my opinion, I've found the best pastries here. They're beautiful to look at, uniquely decorated, and delicious. The cakes and pastries are equally delicious. The owner, Michele, is always kind and helpful. The pastry shop is well-maintained, clean, and welcoming. If you want to enjoy a quality breakfast or snack, I recommend coming here!

Excellent house cocktail, delicious fried pizza, and special customer service, with a complimentary dessert with coffee, and free croissants for breakfast the next day, since they probably needed to work off the leftovers. Top.

05/10/2025: Let me start by saying that La Locanda Garibaldi isn't a restaurant for everyone, as demonstrated by the limited seating available: a deliberate choice, designed to offer genuine attention and care to each guest. It's not the place for those looking for a quick meal or standardized dishes. Here, dinner is an experience, a journey back in time where food is the star, but not the only memory you'll take home. As soon as you enter, you feel like you've walked through a magical door: an old gramophone, an old-fashioned telephone, two pianos, a large fireplace. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, with music that transports you back in time. We're asked to remove our jackets, like at a friend's house. The table setting is meticulously designed and elegant, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Giuseppe, the owner, is an integral part of the experience. From the first phone call, he asks the names of the guests and, without revealing too much, prepares a little surprise. He has a welcoming attitude that makes you feel important: he talks to you, listens, and sits down for a moment, like a long-lost friend. He explains the menu with passion and suggests always spot-on wine pairings, without being intrusive but with taste and expertise. We started with the house antipasto, which varies according to the season and the creativity of Mirella, Giuseppe's wife, the queen of the kitchen. A surprising dish: a stuffed olive with truffle breading, an extraordinary eggplant caponata, a cod medallion with polenta, and numerous seasonal delicacies, including pumpkin. Then came the first courses: my daughter chose "La Botticella," a perfect combination of amatriciana and carbonara, while my husband opted for the maltagliati with bacon and pistachio—a true masterpiece. I opted for a main course of goulash and fresh porcini mushrooms: a dish that smelled of home, with that imperfect perfection that only cooking with love can achieve. The finale was incredibly sweet: a handmade artisanal baba that rivaled even the Neapolitan ones; a green apple sorbet, the best my daughter had ever tasted; and an apple pie that to call poetry doesn't do it justice. The bill? Absolutely adequate for the experience. Don't expect a menu with prices clearly displayed or the usual "cheapest dish" approach: here you choose with your heart, follow your inspiration, and let yourself be guided. Every euro spent is repaid with emotion and authenticity. Thank you, Giuseppe and Mirella, for a wonderful evening: not just a restaurant, but a moment of humanity, taste, and old-fashioned warmth. The only flaw: the waitresses, though very kind, are still not fully integrated into the environment... perhaps they should know the dishes better.

17/09/2025: We went to this restaurant with high expectations, but the experience was very unpleasant. From the moment we arrived, the owner sat with us for almost the entire dinner, talking about himself, with a rather arrogant attitude that made it difficult to admit he was bothering us. Furthermore, we weren't shown a clear menu: they essentially "suggested" the dishes, and in the end we paid €130 for two people for an appetizer, a first course, dessert, water, and wine. The food was good, but it didn't justify the price. The worst thing was feeling so uncomfortable, with no freedom to choose or enjoy the dinner in peace. We also noticed that the owner wasn't very kind to the waitress, who, on the other hand, worked well and was always attentive.

20/09/2025: The restaurant serves fresh fish, which I haven't tried, though. The lunch was good and reasonably priced (€11, excluding drinks). Good value. Recommended.

04/10/2025: The quality isn't excellent. Too much of everything, and ultimately, everything is mediocre. The sushi is good, the meat and fish are adequate. The first courses are decent. The desserts are awful. This place is best for lunch, as it's more affordable, but in the evening, it's better to go to a traditional restaurant where you'll eat better for the same price.

30/09/2025: Grotta Azzurra in Gallarate is hands down one of the best pizza spots around! 🍕 The pizza is amazing – crispy, tasty, and full of flavor. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Great service, great atmosphere, and definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone. it exceeded all expectations. Grotta Azzurra is undoubtedly a culinary gem in Gallarate and a destination that pizza enthusiasts must visit.
