01/01/2026: The pizza was light and beautifully rolled out with a crispy crust. We called around 10 pm on Sunday, but despite the time, they greeted us and served us with a smile and good manners. We discovered this pizzeria by chance after a flight, but we would definitely return if we were in the area. Spacious and quiet. Prices: Capricciosa €10, vegetarian €9, water €4, cover charge €4 (for two).

26/10/2025: We left Milan today, Sunday, October 26th, to come and eat at this club recommended by friends and seen the photos, but macabre surprise it was closed. What a disappointment because they don't update the information on Google. Time and petrol wasted. Disappointment 👎👎👎

15/11/2025: I tried this place for an aperitivo. I was immediately struck by the price of the platters and wines, particularly their contrast and countertrend. The platters cost €15 per person (the price decreases based on size), which is slightly above average. On the other hand, bottles of wine (bottled and bottled on the spot) were €13 each, relatively cheap. I must say I found this aspect positive, almost like an intellectual honesty based on the real cost of goods, in contrast to the normal approach of further increasing the price of drinks. Furthermore, both the platters and the wine were very respectable: the platters were very rich, varied, and of high quality, and the wines were very good. One noteworthy point was that the service was a little slow, but it didn't in the least impact the evening or the overall impression.

19/09/2025: The place is well-kept, clean, and welcoming. The service could be improved (we had to call the waiter 3-4 times, hopefully just today since we were there for an event). A word of advice, unfortunately, if you want to use a wooden cutting board, as beautiful and eye-catching as it may be, you need to make sure the various cured meats/cheeses don't come directly into contact with it (as they're difficult to sanitize and wash). However, for certain products, you can't buy lower-quality than the original. The glass bottles for Coke, Fanta, etc., however, are appreciated. A little effort on certain details is all it takes to reach the top...

18/01/2026: Lunch with my wife: two risottos, good, €10; a chicken salad, good, €9. Prices are more than reasonable. However, we end up discovering a €4 cover charge per person and €3 coffee. The unpleasant feeling is that they're trying to recoup the "discount" on the food elsewhere. The service is slow and inattentive (we ordered two risottos and they didn't bring us cheese). Our table is located immediately next to the two 90° flights of stairs leading to the upper dining room: it's well known that hot air tends to rise (a physical phenomenon), so the table is in an uncomfortable and cold position. In the future, I'll look elsewhere.

21/12/2025: Extremely high bill for embarrassingly tasteless and quality-less dishes. Rude service and arrogant attitudes, as if the customer were a nuisance. One of the worst restaurant experiences: a complete waste of time and money. Avoid!

01/09/2025: The place is informal, its name now is "Lu purparu " located under the porticoes and pergolas, the dishes are plentiful and the prices are normal, the linguine with sea urchins are special, I will definitely return, what can I say... I recommend it to everyone, try it and believe it. 👍🏼

31/12/2025: Ristorante da Annetta is a famous place in Varese and its province, and is even listed in the Michelin Guide, so when you come here you expect a certain standard of cuisine, service, and ambiance. Well, there's nothing to complain about the food; it wowed us with every bite. There were three of us, and we ordered three first courses, three second courses, and three desserts. The plin pasta was truly tasty, with a flavorful, almost sweet base, but we really enjoyed it. The chestnut tagliatelle with mallard ragù was exquisite. The veal wing, suckling pig, and tartare—three dishes, each better than the last. So, in short, there's nothing to complain about. The chef(s) know their stuff, and it gets top marks. Let's talk about the ambiance. A classy historic building, with beautiful chandeliers, an elegant entrance from the garden/parking lot, and equally elegant tables. Nothing to complain about here either. Now, the service. I read a lot of reviews on various sites before arriving, and I was quite hopeful that I could prove what I'd found online to be true. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. It's the end of the year, and everyone's tired, but you can't greet customers by rolling your eyes without even faking a smile. You could really feel the lack of desire to work. When we arrived at the table and ordered, they brought us the wine list. We ordered, and they brought us a wine we hadn't ordered. One of my guests was very quick to say, "That's not what we ordered." The waitress immediately replied, "Oh, we don't have that anymore." Usually, you inform the customer first and then you can offer another wine (which also costs €20 more, but she didn't tell us). We also noticed that at the tables around us there were only Germans, and unfortunately they struggled to communicate because only Italian and little English were spoken. "Service" also includes dirty wine glasses, a chipped plate (all things that can happen but shouldn't), a bread knife that wasn't a bread knife... small things, but in a restaurant of this caliber, they make a difference. There's a lot of room for improvement. I've also read about people complaining about the prices, but I (we) found the prices to be fair and in line with the type of cuisine. Of course, when you compare them to the type of service, they're a bit out of place. But we hope to return and find improvements. Regardless, I recommend it because we ate well, but be patient.

13/01/2026: A very elegant restaurant with very friendly staff. It offers both a daily menu with dishes on display and a pizzeria with an à la carte menu. The portions are generous and excellent.

16/12/2025: We went to dinner with friends. We waited almost 40 minutes to order pizza. A gentleman, I think he was the owner, wouldn't take our order unless we were all at the table. 🤨...as if we were at school. He grumbled and responded in a tone of voice. We ordered fries, but not even those!! Finally the pizzas. Decent! Someone asked for less spicy and it arrived.??...spicy!!! There's also karaoke. But don't worry!!! He (that gentleman) chooses what to wear and what to sing. 🙄 A piece of advice: More customer attention. You're not at home.
