23/03/2025: Situated right on the Varesina state road, this elegant establishment stands behind a sumptuous wrought-iron gate. This restaurant is housed in a sumptuous residence dating back to the second half of the 19th century. The restaurant offers a captivating blend of history and modernity. Guests are greeted formally by a very gracious staff member, who offers an unusual and highly appreciated tasting of the owners' own olive oil produced in the Val d'Orcia. A tasty and unexpected aperitif was also offered, a delightful prelude to a wonderful dinner. The chef, worthy of the most renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, is dedicated to satisfying the most sophisticated palates with delicate dishes that are both visually delightful and truly enchanting. White reigns supreme, dominating both the interior dining room and the outdoor patio, contrasting here with the pleasantly dated flooring featuring dark brown accents. The establishment is surrounded by greenery, so much so that from the outside, the presence of the road is almost forgotten. My need for gluten- and lactose-free cuisine was fully met without the slightest hesitation, without compromising the flavor or beauty of the dishes. There is free parking outside on the opposite side of the street, and parking is available inside the building. There are three steps to the entrance. I recommend a small ramp for wheelchair users and strollers, if you don't have one. For anyone looking for a quiet, elegant, and romantic location, I highly recommend it. 09/11/2025: Correction: On Thursday, November 6th, after checking the Tripadvisor website (which still lists the restaurant as open) and trying to call the listed cell phone number (which rings), I tried to stop by, but I couldn't even find the sign. Given the owner's response, I don't think I missed out on any great experiences.

09/08/2025: I went there with friends and parents to celebrate my birthday. The lunch was excellent.

11/08/2025: Last night I ordered takeout pizzas and was really satisfied! As soon as I arrived, the guy at the counter was super kind and friendly: he even offered me a beer while I waited, a simple but much appreciated gesture. The pizzas were all excellent: well-cooked dough, abundant, and high-quality ingredients. The fish is a must-try. Well done!

18/12/2025: A small pastry shop where you can have breakfast at a table. The place is small and can get very busy at certain times, with many people stopping by to pick up takeout items (like pastries) and standing inside at the entrance/counter. The quality of the products is high, and they're very tasty, but the pastries are very expensive compared to other places where I usually buy them, especially considering they're small, albeit well-crafted. The pastries are very good and well-filled. Given the large number of customers, you sometimes have to wait a bit too long for service. Overall, a place I'd recommend trying, perhaps at a less crowded time.

06/12/2025: At 11:45, it's impossible to sit down for a coffee because all the chairs are already stacked inside, waiting for closing time at 12. Thanks, but let's go somewhere else. I reply to the owner: "Where should I sit?" The chairs outside were gone; by 11:45, they'd already been brought inside and stacked on top of each other. If that means I could pick up my coffee and drink it standing outside... well, that's not exactly my idea of ​​service.

10/01/2026: I was here for the second time this week and again it's a 10 out of 10. The food was fantastic (especially the pasta with ragù), the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended. P.S. Try the excellent grappa 😉

15/07/2025: Virkelig lækkert. Vi prøvede lidt forskellige nationale retter. Alle smagte fantastisk. Og meget sød og venlig betjening. De åbner kl 18 og har åbent om mandagen.

29/12/2025: Excellent climbing gym and simple but fun via ferrata overlooking the lake. Very interesting for a day of sport, especially in the summer when you can combine it with a nice swim.
