The pizza was light and beautifully rolled out with a crispy crust. We called around 10 pm on Sunday, but despite the time, they greeted us and served us with a smile and good manners. We discovered this pizzeria by chance after a flight, but we would definitely return if we were in the area. Spacious and quiet. Prices: Capricciosa €10, vegetarian €9, water €4, cover charge €4 (for two).

Yes, I was looking for a pizza restaurant on my way back from a flight, and it was an excellent choice. The decor is a bit dated, but the friendly service and quality of the food make up for it. The pizza was delicious, and the owner and his wife were incredibly kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

The Poppinjay

20/01/2026: A very nice evening spent with a friend, the food was excellent as was the beer.
08/11/2025: Very nice pub, you can feel the Anglo-Saxon atmosphere, excellent selection of beers and food, personally I really like the pizzas. For those who are interested, they show football matches. Recommended 👌

Trattoria Per Bacco

16/01/2026: Another couple of friends with children were in the area because of the Christmas lights, and the restaurant was recommended as a special deal, so after visiting, we called and they reserved a table for us, even kindly providing us with two high chairs. They were extremely accommodating, we were very happy, and we set off with the highest expectations. The place is very pleasant and not particularly noisy, which is another plus. The menu is fairly modest and reasonably priced: three different set menu options and a selection of various entrees. It was time to order—one of us, incidentally, is vegetarian. We ordered a couple of appetizers, which included cured meats, asking if it was possible to split the cured meats and cheeses between two different plates (we'd pay dearly for that). A long, really long wait ensued, with neither water nor bread (but the two euro cover charge per person is there and will be paid). When they arrived, there was literally nothing on the plates: it almost seemed like we'd ordered just one appetizer and split it between two plates. A misunderstanding may occur, so we move on. We find the Russian salad and the sweet and sour vegetables excellent: truly, very good. The main courses arrive, and here comes the sore point: they were truly meager and completely out of proportion with the cost. Specifically: two children eat a plate of tagliatelle with wild boar ragù (a portion suitable for a six-year-old) and a lasagna (a generous portion for a one-and-a-half-year-old who eats as much as an adult), but the adults each order polenta and something else, and there were actually a couple of ladles of polenta each and four pieces of meat. NCS. Let's move on to desserts: two were included in the menus we selected when ordering, and we add a third. Once again, those little terracotta bowls arrive, containing little substance but delicious. In the end, the bill is steep: 180 for four adults and two children (a third child didn't eat because he still drinks milk). They wanted to charge us for the two desserts included in the menu and no discount for the special offer, but we hadn't specified this, so maybe it's our fault. If the prices had already been reduced for the event, I don't know what to think. I'm giving it three stars because we certainly weren't the best customers (those who book ahead of time), and their courtesy and helpfulness were truly excellent, but the quality/price ratio would be no more than two stars. They deserve a second chance to do better.
13/01/2026: Penne with speck and radicchio, stew, wine, and generous amounts of bread. Tourist menu for €12, which changes daily. Also included are mineral water and pear and chocolate cake (€5). Everything is delicious. On the side, polenta and braised meat (€16) are among the various options. On special occasions, polenta and donkey (€18). A welcoming alpine hideaway in the colder months, a pleasant veranda in the milder ones. Braised meats, tripe, and game (among other things) are excellently prepared. Another positive note: the sparkling restrooms. Recommended for those who don't put on too much airs, as well as those who are passionate about the enchanting places of Gigi Riva and Eugenio Cefis, great Italians.
