24/07/2025: A simple place with generous and tasty sandwiches. After you order, a friendly little robot brings your sandwiches and drinks to your table. Prices are reasonable, and you can customize your sandwich. 👍🏻

04/07/2025: The sandwiches are excellent both with tartare and fish, quality and fresh ingredients. The bread is a little sweet, I would have preferred maybe the sesame one. The chips were a little scarce in quantity, even a few more would have been fine. The prices are high but once in a while it's okay. The dishes are brought to the table by a "robot" the orders are taken by the staff.

21/08/2025: I've been going there regularly for three years and have never been disappointed. Great price and excellent quality. Excellent, my favorite in the province.

10/09/2025: Top quality! Traditional cuisine, everything homemade. Gnocchi fritti, capesante, and the best tagliata with fresh porcini mushrooms I've ever had in Italy. Desserts are almost homemade! Delicious!

Cristian, Besa and all the staff were helpful, kind and attentive to our requests and the needs of all our guests. Excellent quality of food, our guests complimented us already from the aperitif. Highly recommended!

18/07/2025: We got married on July 15, 2025, and had our reception here at the Cenacolo. A truly romantic and well-maintained venue, with kind and polite staff. Cristian and Besa were incredibly attentive during the preparations and the reception. The highlight of this venue is definitely the food: a variety of appetizers, plentiful and truly delicious, sophisticated first courses, and a leg of veal for the main course that left everyone speechless. We highly recommend this venue, both for its quality and availability.

24/08/2025: A place we've known for years, returning is always an experience beyond the ordinary: exceptional. Surprising and refined cuisine, regional Italian dishes interpreted with creative imagination, but always in keeping with tradition. The result is superb. 09/08/2025: An exceptional culinary experience, excellent service, and a unique and classy venue. Don't expect a menu with prices, but let yourself be transported on a journey of highly unusual, refined, and sophisticated flavors and combinations. Italian cuisine, albeit a bit homemade, is high-quality and offers surprising flavors. Maltagliati with pistachio cream, trofie with porcini mushrooms and grilled bacon, Sicilian-style stuffed meatballs, cinnamon or melon and chili pepper ice cream are just a few examples of the dishes available, but the highlight is the appetizer of half a dozen unique and sensational appetizers, from caponata to goose breast, from truffled olives to sweet and sour pumpkin. A unique and memorable experience for those who want to try new and classy flavors; expect to spend 80 to 90 euros per person, plus wine, for a full four-course meal, but it's worth every penny. This is a restaurant unlike any other, and reservations are required. Exceptional.

18/05/2025: During a recent stroll through the streets of Varese, I came across Messer Vino, a place that turned out to be a pleasant surprise, especially for a tasty aperitif and a good glass. I really appreciated the possibility of sitting at one of their outdoor tables, perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of the area. The only flaw: a little small and wobbly, especially when someone approaches and moves the plank that supports all the tables. The strong point is the 12-piece Giro Cicchetti, a curated assortment that ranges from revisited classics to creative proposals: from the tasty creamed cod to the refined Fassona tartare with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar, up to the bold Blu di Capra with raspberry sauce. Each cicchetto, prepared with fresh and quality ingredients, offers a balance of flavors that satisfies different palates. Accompanied by a fresh and aromatic Hugo Spritz, the meal was completed by a glass of red wine, surprisingly rounded and pleasant, offered at an exceptional quality-price ratio (4€). With attentive service and an offer that combines variety, quality and convenience, Messer Vino is an excellent choice for a convivial and satisfying aperitif.

29/08/2025: I've never experienced anything like this in Italy before: so nice, so cozy, a great selection, and every now and then they even serve something delicious to go with your beer... highly recommended... even for wine lovers...

18/08/2025: For a quick late lunch. One of the few open in the middle of August. We had a bresaola sandwich and a bresaola salad. The accompanying bread used for the buns at the other location was delicious. We ate lunch outside at the tables.

15/05/2025: For some years now, during the summer, if I have to eat ice cream, I eat it at "ConoCoppetta" because in every flavor I have tried you can feel the use of quality raw materials (and not of the prepared one). I am a fan of "Calabrian Liquorice", "salted caramel" and strawberry granita: Super!!!
