05/09/2025: The nice lady behind the bar recommended some great places to eat. The wine on tap was fine. The espresso was delicious. It's worth eating there.

04/09/2025: Simple and super affordable. A snack, a cold drink, or just sitting by the harbor. You can do that here. The service is super friendly and helpful. We'll be back. Plus, it's a nice way to shorten the wait for the ferry.

18/08/2025: As often happens, the closer you live to a restaurant, the less likely you are to go! Last night my husband and I decided to eat at this restaurant, which I've known all my life! Let me start by saying that we had attended the Wagyu evening and had a wonderful time. Seeing this type of meat on the menu made us want to try it again. The idea was to have a mixed grill, but to our disappointment, it wasn't on the paper menu; however, it was on the online menu. We "settled" on other dishes, both with this meat and other types...what can I say, everything was divine!! We ate truly well! The service was young and attentive, not intrusive but firm. We were in the area by the windows, so it was more intimate and quiet! We'll definitely see you again. A small tip: remove the word "mixed grill" from the online menu. We hope to see you again for another Wagyu evening; it was top-notch!!

24/08/2025: Excellent experience. Spectacular location on the lake, practically on the beach, and a stunning sunset. Prompt and attentive service with very friendly waiters. We enjoyed grilled octopus with burrata and spinach, and calamari with chips and cherry tomatoes. I've rarely tasted a seafood mix like the one they served us, which was so abundant it deserved a doggie bag.

20/08/2025: A very nice restaurant located at the southern end of the lake. The food was delicious and unique, and the service was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the restaurant wants to be hip, and bombards its own guests and the idyllic lawn with loud, soulless, and very beat-heavy pop music. There's clearly no sense of the peaceful atmosphere of this place. There was no need for music at all... or if there was, then there would have been some very nice, quieter music...

08/07/2025: I'm a longtime customer of this establishment, where I've happily left my contribution for over 20 years, choosing to bring friends and family for breakfast or gelato. But what happened today deeply disappointed me. I went to the bar with my wife and a guest. When the guest stood up to pay, as usual, I clearly stated that she was my guest, adding, "We're in Italy, so I'll pay," as I've always done with every person I've brought to this establishment. It's a form of respect, a small gesture that's part of our culture and tradition—if you can call it that—and which has always been respected. Despite this, the waitress accepted our guest's money without hesitation, completely ignoring my words. I tried to politely explain that I was the one who had invited her, but I was met only with inflexibility and a cold, unsympathetic attitude. The way I was ignored made me feel invisible, as if my gesture had no value. It's not a matter of money, but of respect. Actions speak louder than words, and a little sensitivity on the part of this waitress (all the others were always kind) would have been enough to avoid this unpleasant situation. I will never return to this establishment, not out of pride, but out of dignity. Those who work with the public should care about the human aspect, not just the commercial one.

24/05/2025: Oops, I fell for it again. I promised myself I would never eat sugar again, but instead I gorged myself on a double brioche, cappuccino and half a kilo of pastries, which I took away for the withdrawal crisis that would soon take over me. I have stopped with a lot of unhealthy things in life, but sweets are my worst addiction. Leaving aside the internal discomforts, the abuse committed obviously corresponds to a very high quality of their production.

26/02/2025: I had lunch in this restaurant last Sunday on the occasion of a confirmation to which I was invited. Menu with attention to detail...large portions...everything very good...friendly staff... Highly recommended....

06/09/2025: You sit there like an idiot for ages and are simply ignored 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's not okay! The "waiter" just kept staring at us and simply ignored us! We shouldn't let ourselves be treated so badly! We left after 10 minutes! Absolutely terrible, honestly! Who do you think you are? It stuck with me for a long time, being treated like dirt!

28/08/2025: Lovely location for lunch. We had risotto and shared the fritto. The food was excellent. Our dog was welcome and enjoyed the food too😄

05/08/2025: I came this evening for my birthday with my girlfriend. I had the best birthday of my life and one of the best moments of my life. I was accompanied by the girl I love and by an aperitif that I will remember for the rest of my life. The drinks were also truly delicious. It's the best place I've ever been to. I will definitely go back as soon as possible. The staff was also very kind. I felt at home. It was an unforgettable experience.

16/07/2025: For those of us who live outside of Varese, finding a place like Break close to work was a wonderful discovery. The atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept, you're always greeted with a smile, and all the products they offer are excellent!
