20/07/2025: Siamo stati a mangiare ieri sera io, il mio compagno e una coppia di amici( lei in gravidanza) . Sono stati molto disponibili a soddisfare le esigenze della mia amica. Si mangia molto bene anche se i prezzi sono leggermente sopra la media ma adatti al contesto dove ci si trova. Nel cuore di Varese, lontano dalle macchine con una bella parte esterna coperta. Cibo ottimo, a partire dalle loro famose orecchie d’elefante farcite. Il menù è vario e spazia da carne a qualche proposta di pesce. Dolci freschi di loro produzione. Il personale cordiale e non il solito con poco personale dove non ti calcolano. Sempre disponibili alle esigenze del cliente. Ci torno spesso e volentieri

20/07/2025: I recently went for dinner, there were four of us. This place is known for its excellent cutlets, which, as usual, lived up to expectations. I tried the roast beef for a change, and I must say it was excellent, and the price was in line with the quality of the meat. Really excellent and attentive service, with many waiters and a great attention to detail. Off-the-menu offerings, and I'd say the first courses were excellent. The meat, although the cut was delicious, was a little on the expensive side. Overall, definitely a place to return to to finish off the full selection of orecchiette and orecchiette in various variations.

10/05/2025: As already pointed out by previous reviewers the hamburgers look better than they taste. I knew it is not a gourmet burger eatery but on Saturday evening it was my only choice as I didn't have time to go to the supermarket and cook dinner (I try to avoid eating out when in Gallarate because I don't like the food anywhere). The hamburgers are good value for money but the main problem is the meat is too salty which was unpleasant. Over salted food is a common problem in Italy 🇮🇹 because people use little or no spice or chilli 🌶 in the food and so they compensate for the lack of flavour with too much salt. The patties also lack sauce and the caramelized onions that were a couple of cold onion slivers smothered in what tasted like jam did not impress. The "baked potatoes" at 6 Euros sounded like a steal but they were 7 or 8 slices of potatoes that were baked in the oven. They tasted ok but it is not what my mind configured when ordering. The French fries are very good and they come free with the burger plus as a side dish they are cheaper so they are the better choice as a side dish. Finally the so called "home made tiramisu" was characterless and can be described as a flop. Yes, it is probably made on the premises but the ingredients used in making it are not fitting for a tiramisu (instead of the signature sponge texture it has biscuits that became soft in the fridge). There was also no hint of rum or marsala wine in the recipe. The two waitresses are kind but they are overwhelmed by having to arrange food on the robot inside the restaurant and also attend to those sitting on tables outside. Robots are a great idea in large restaurants (typically Chinese and Thai restaurants in Asia that have a capacity of more than 30 family tables) because the cooks at cooking station can offload the dish fast and it is sent before it gets cold. However, in a small restaurant in Gallarate it is a silly gimmick because the tables are small and it slows down the service.

11/07/2025: Company dinner with 28 people. Very nice location, already known in the past and therefore a confirmation. Well-prepared dishes with generous portions, even if not everything on the menu was available (they took the order and then returned to the table to inform them that they only had 3 portions of such and such, not the 4 ordered...) But overall acceptable. So why 3 stars? Because it's really annoying to feel like a "nuisance," an "intruder" in a restaurant. I don't like to generalize, but the wait staff needs a good overhaul and to realize that courtesy, kindness, and a smile must be basic ingredients if you work in a public-facing job; otherwise, you'll ruin the beautiful location and the good food. I recommend you work on it.

05/07/2025: Room was very hot we sleept on top Floor even with airconditioning on m. Airco was located 1 Floor lower. People are friendly and restaurant is really good!

06/06/2025: Excellent for those who don't have great needs, the staff and owners are really good and very helpful, I will definitely go back

19/05/2025: Le recensioni presenti raccontano bene il ristorante. Confermo la bontà di quanto proposto nel menu, servizio veloce e attento, prezzi convenienti: dove trovate un capretto a 9€ o insalata russa a 3,5€? Carta dei vini apprezzabile anche con mezze bottiglie, non perdetevi il limoncello della casa.

03/07/2025: Extremely cheap breakfasts, it feels like going back in time, coffee and brioche €1.80 or cappuccino and brioche €2, great prices, good quality and friendly staff, I will return, in addition to these two menus they have other menus and many other delicacies at affordable prices, congratulations!

06/07/2025: I'm sorry but I was very disappointed by the food they brought me, battered perch fillets, it seemed like I was eating an omelette with fish inside, tasteless like the side vegetables, definitely not one to go back to... when we asked for desserts, the owner listed the various desserts in a flurry in an almost annoyed manner... the only notable note was the polite and kind staff... of what I remembered only the name remained...

28/06/2025: Exceptional pizza, very light and digestible dough, and the only pizza that doesn't make me drink at night, the quality of the raw materials is excellent, pizza like homemade, passion and love always pay off, I recommend it

15/05/2025: My partner and I at least 1/2 times a week get food from the deli (both home delivery and on-site pick-up), everything is delicious! The pizzas are delicious and the dough is light and easily digestible, the arancini are excellent and even the chicken with potatoes is exquisite! The staff is super kind and helpful, always ready to satisfy the various requests from customers. If you want to eat well, go to them! SUPER QUALITY!
