24/08/2024: What can I say, a very quiet and welcoming place, as far as the portions are concerned, the portions are normal, nothing limited and the quality is high but... it's a shame because the service leaves much to be desired. Waiting times were too slow and very often distracted by the waiters who brought the wrong dishes and drinks. 3 stars sl for the quality for the rest a little disappointed...

02/08/2024: We went for dinner last night. We ate very well, nothing to say. It's a shame that both we and other people had to escape from the heat..... I had the same problem in July last year. You can't make people eat with 30 degrees in the room. One air conditioner on which didn't release a shred of fresh air, the others were off as the maid said they weren't working. Given that they had the same problem last year, I find it unacceptable that after a year they haven't fixed it.

11/08/2024: Incredible hidden gem in the area. The menu fisso at lunchtime is the best value your money can get. Real wood fire pizza oven and friendly service I recommend. Place is hidden away like a speakeasy bar be careful to go to the right pizzeria! Try the carbonnara.

04/08/2024: Helpful and welcoming service: 18 of us arrived without a reservation, on a Saturday for lunch and they prepared the table for us in a very short time. The food was okay, simple but good. Place to try and excellent if passing through that area

04/08/2024: This was my experience: We arrive at the restaurant at 12.20 with a reservation for 5 people, 4 of us showed up (because one of us felt ill in the morning), for this reason we were rudely welcomed by those who manage the tables, annoyed, because we had to warn ......we follow her evidently altered, towards a very small table which she prepares in a hasty and nervous way.....we apologize for the inconvenience, proposing to pay for the person you are missing anyway...... but the lady with a half smile replies "of course". We sit down, and from that moment on we were almost no longer considered (when we arrived the tables were still almost all empty) At 12:45 they take the order for water and wine At 1pm they bring us the menu At 1.20pm we managed to order, all this while the people at the other tables, who arrived after us, were all already eating. At 1.30pm a waitress, convinced that we had finished eating, asked us if we wanted anything else........???????? At 1.50pm, 3 of the 4 dishes ordered arrive At 2pm the last dish finally arrives. We ordered a risotto and 3 fried fish.....the risotto was good. We eat hastily and get up without asking for anything else, not even coffee.

08/08/2024: Secluded and quiet environment literally 2 steps from the center of Varese, superlative Neapolitan pizza with various combinations both classic and more modern, the cuisine is also good... and last but not least the owner, Gianni, very competent as well as a friend, considering that I am now I've been spending my lunch break with them for several years! Highly recommended
