18/05/2025: Simply the best takeaway pizza in Tradate. Pizza a little smaller than usual, a little wider and crispier edge (and delicious) and crumbly dough and not rubbery as often found in other pizzas. Excellent quality ingredients and good variety of pizzas. Punctual in deliveries, which is very important. Discovered not long ago but we will certainly try them and try again many times.

23/05/2025: The pastry shop is decent enough even in terms of sweets, given the lack of freshness of the products. For example, a brioche I got yesterday, with Nutella, which only had a tuft of cream on top and was completely empty inside. Well, I understand the inflation but it seems too much to color only the upper part. At least put a teaspoon! Leaving this aside, the pastries are acceptable but the staff is terrible. Only 1-2 people are saved, the rest really need to be put into perspective. The old lady with short gray hair wearing a hat is incredibly unpleasant, she constantly looks at you badly and it has happened to me several times to bring dirty things to the counter given the amount of people, to give a hand to those working. I asked her kindly "excuse me, can I leave them here?", pointing to some plates placed one on top of the other, in response she looks at me pissed off and badly and then says in the rudest tone "eh if you really have to". I don't think I offended her, on the contrary, of course I did! It's not the first time I bring things to the counter, speaking of any bar/pastry shop, I've always received a smile or a minimum of thanks... here they even answer you badly. This morning, however, another lady literally passed us by to ask for the order and my brother and I, who arrived specifically early for our times, remained at the table waiting for a quarter of an hour, then we got up and took something directly from the counter. The place wasn't even full or crowded, so it's really a question of superficiality and not oversight. In fact, I have to say that I am served better when the place is full!

05/05/2025: Very nice restaurant by the lake. The view is beautiful and the glass walls are very bright. The food is very good! The grilled meat is truly superb! Fair prices and quick, friendly service. Nice to be able to get up and walk by the lake. A pleasant discovery.

14/05/2025: When you enter this restaurant you feel like you are at home. The staff is super friendly and available for every request. The place is very unique and cared for in details, clean and with a welcoming atmosphere. Last but not least, the quality of their meats. Very good flavor and perfect cooking. Pizza by the slice one of the best ever tasted. We left super satisfied with our lunch. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for everything!

11/05/2025: Posto Carino eravamo in 10 per un. Compleanno 28€ a testa per mangiare un trancio di Pizza e due patatine contate e troppo caro per non dire che ci hanno fatto pagare 20€ di taglio di torta 2€ a testa che vergogna troppo caro per essere fuori Milano

06/05/2025: Quante stelle si possono dare? Il bar/pasticceria è molto curato e ha qualche tavolino all’interno per fare colazione. Abbiamo preso un croissant alla crema e uno alla ricotta, entrambi fantastici! Potrebbe diventare il nostro nuovo bar di fiducia. Devo assolutamente provare il pain au chocolat. Consigliatissimo!

04/05/2025: I'm biased. 45 years that I understood occasionally to eat: refined environment, refined menu (I would include a 'historic' section - those buffet starters - but I understand the complexity and onerousness); unique location. When the weather works, the experience is unforgettable.

27/05/2025: Nice and very friendly girls. Nice place. We ate à la carte, everything was excellent! The only flaw was the show of the boss who was screaming for a broken glass and the screams and discomfort could be heard in the room! I advise the gentleman that there are various ways to reprimand the staff. That is, in a separate location!

03/05/2025: During a trek going up from Laveno to the top of Sasso del Ferro, we stopped at the Gigliola restaurant and it was really worth it. We tried a goat's milk ice cream with blueberries: simply delicious, creamy and with an authentic flavour, perfect for cooling off after the climb. The place is lovely, with tables outside on a terrace that offers a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. A quiet corner surrounded by greenery. Advised!

23/04/2025: Nous étions en randonnée vers le Sasso del Ferro et nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant au retour sans avoir réservé. Le serveur a été demander au chef et nous avons été acceptés. Nourriture typique italienne de qualité. Vue sur le lac imprenable et ambiance très chaleureuse. A faire absolument mais il vaut mieux réserver à l'avance.

18/05/2025: Ci eravamo già stati qualche anno fa, purtroppo non siamo rimasti felicemente colpiti. 150€ a coppia il costo, porzioni molto risicate, antipasti vari senza infamia né lode, Fiorentine rimandate in cottura perché gelide nel mezzo.. non si sono scusati dell’accaduto, la proprietaria e la responsabile del servizio hanno accampato solo scusanti durante il servizio, perché loro non sono una griglieria prima e dopo perché non avevamo anticipatamente chiesto le fiorentine, che sono sul menù alla carta..come se la colpa fosse nostra, invece che scusarsi, ci vuol poco ad ammettere l’errore, ci hanno promesso uno sconto al momento del pagamento, che ovviamente non è mai arrivato! Dopo 456€ di conto pagato, almeno un po’ di soddisfazione in ciò che si è mangiato, piacerebbe rimanesse, invece solo un plauso ai 2 camerieri uomini che ci hanno servito, gentili e cordiali.
