22/04/2025: La location vale già da sola il viaggio. Atmosfera straordinaria. Accoglienza cordiale. Piatti squisiti. Bellissima sia l'idea dell'architettura del locale che la cordialità dei proprietari. Un posto fuori dal tempo immerso nel verde e nella tranquillità. Siamo stati benissimo, sia per il cibo che per la convivialità che ispira. Possiamo solo consigliare l'esperienza. Grazie

06/04/2025: Last night together with some friends, we visited the "Casa di straw" restaurant for the second time It's always a pleasure to go here: the good food, the warm and friendly welcome make the occasion even more pleasant The house menu is decided by the managers, but it can vary on the wines I always leave satisfied with the right level of quantity and quality Near the service counter, there is a display with many real delicacies of preserves, jams and compotes to choose from for a purchase that is not just a small souvenir We will come back for sure

03/05/2025: After a visit to the castle of Chignolo Po, we stopped for lunch in this restaurant. Place run by husband and wife, both in the kitchen (she in the kitchen, he on the grill). Clean place, without frills, here you can breathe the air of an authentic trattoria. Typical and abundant dishes. Note of merit to the cured meats, the sautéed kidneys and the coffee semifreddo. Good service. Average price. Advised!

21/05/2025: I stopped by for lunch. Clean environment, managed dynamically and with courtesy. The menu is not bad but should be tried outside of work meals.

19/05/2025: We had lunch last Saturday. We hadn't booked but we found the same place. The place is very special. From the outside it looks like a gas station bar but when we sat down at our table we exclaimed wow. We practically had a golf course in front of us with players attached. Beautiful photography. The food then offered was varied and different from the usual. All very good. The service was fast and accurate. We really had a great time. Highly recommended.

21/01/2025: Locale piccolo e intimo a conduzione familiare, vicino al centro. Menu a base di oca: antipasto, primo e secondo. Tutto buonissimo accompagnato da un ottimo vino rosso. Personale competente e gentile.

04/05/2025: We had a beautiful day! Sitting at the table at 1.30pm and between a fork, a glass of wine and some goodies we got up at 5.30pm, we didn't even notice how time had passed so we had such a good time. The wonderful location, with lots of greenery and beautiful flowers! Well-kept tables and delicious dishes! There is an abundant fixed menu. The owner is a very kind and helpful gentleman, who told us everything down to the smallest detail, starting from his story and ending with the little secrets of his recipes. He also surprised us with some truly delicious off-menu dishes 😍 If you want to spend an afternoon in good company and eat well I recommend it!

Immerso in un incantevole giardino, il ristorante offre un'atmosfera rilassante ideale godersi un pranzo all'insegna della buona cucina. Il proprietario, Tino, è un perfetto padrone di casa: accogliente, attento e sempre pronto a condividere la storia e la filosofia del suo ristorante. La sua presenza discreta ma premurosa contribuisce a rendere l'esperienza culinaria ancora più speciale. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un luogo dove sentirsi coccolati e vivere un'esperienza gastronomica autentica.

21/05/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch and I had a great time. Impeccable service, kindness, courtesy, elegance and professionalism of waiters and tables. Food also gluten-free (Schar crackers) and excellent quality of extra virgin olive oil and meat.

16/05/2025: Very nice atmosphere and delicious food. Waiters a bit chaotic….. Advice as a non-smoker to divide the outside area into two areas for smokers and non-smokers…. I had a couple smoking next to me and it wasn’t very pleasant. And let’s hope that one day there will be a ban on smoking in public areas as often happens abroad.

03/06/2025: Nice location located in Oltrepò Pavese easy to reach and with convenient parking. Relaxed and very pleasant atmosphere. Good wine.. The service and the condiments of the first courses (which should be on the plate) need to be reviewed a bit... Possibility of overnight stay absolutely to try..
