27/02/2026: I visited the Cacciatori e Pescatori restaurant and had an overall very positive experience. The restaurant is beautiful, well-kept, and clean, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The menu is typical of the border area between Piedmont and Lombardy and offers well-executed traditional dishes. The dishes are generous, from appetizers to first courses and second courses, with authentic flavors and hearty cuisine. The only negative was the service, which was a bit slow and time-consuming. That said, the wait staff is truly top-notch: super professional, kind, and knowledgeable waiters, always available and attentive to the customer. Overall, it's a recommended restaurant, especially for the quality of the cuisine, the generous portions, and the professionalism of the staff.

21/12/2025: An elegant restaurant with attentive and professional waiter service. The appetizers are excellent, well-presented, colorful, and plentiful. Some areas for improvement: the first courses are good but not exceptional; in my opinion, the portions are also disproportionate, with only two shrimp tails for every 100g of pasta. The bread is a bit dry, but the final taste of the passito wine was appreciated. Overall, I recommend it.

16/03/2026: The location is beautiful, just steps from the Ticino River, with a large parking lot in the hotel grounds (a much-loved spot among the locals. This was once the dock that gave the current hotel its name, the "da Broglio" restaurant, famous for its small fish caught directly from the Ticino River, and a small sandy beach called Spiaggia d'Oro). It's one of the largest restaurants in the city (with many rooms and lounges of varying shapes). It offers both pizzas and a choice of meat and fish dishes. Very popular, reservations are recommended.

Until a few years ago, the restaurant was probably called Barattino, as evidenced by a diploma from a few decades ago, and as can also be deduced from the name of the town where it is located, which is the same. The food was quite local, as the risotto and chicken were certainly local, while other dishes satisfied the palates with quality, professional service, and timely delivery.

26/02/2026: Fantastic! The interior is truly meticulously designed, down to the last detail, while the outdoor area is very relaxing. During the day, it's a great lunch stop with a wide selection at a fixed price, and in the evening, they offer an à la carte menu. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and wine, and the food is simply delicious! I've been there several times and it's never disappointed.

24/11/2025: We purchased baked goods. Wide selection...high quality. Adequate prices...fast and professional service. There's also a pastry department in a cozy but well-organized setting. We'll be happy and satisfied to return, especially because of its great location...near the Duomo.

01/11/2025: A great bakery in Imperia. They have an excellent variety of breads and baked goods. Cookies, bread, cakes, brioches, pizzas, focaccia, and a small deli fill the counter and windows of this bakery. They have several locations in Imperia, two in Oneglia and one in Porto Maurizio. Very good, I recommend it and will return.

02/02/2026: My partner had already made a reservation by phone 10 days in advance for lunch at the restaurant on Sunday, February 1st, to celebrate our six-year anniversary. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived and asked about the reservation, we were told they didn't have any reservations in our name, partly because the room was occupied that day for an event. The owner apologized and said he'd offer us a bottle of wine next time. Honestly, I don't care about a free bottle, since we're both teetotalers. The problem lies with the reception staff, who could have called a few days in advance and apologized because there was an event. And then I wonder, if the event was so important, I think it would have been booked long ago and not at the last minute. The fact is, we drove an hour for nothing, and our day was ruined.
