03/05/2026: My husband and I really appreciate this place because it offers a wide variety of fresh fish dishes, cooked to perfection and on-site. The atmosphere is very refined and spotlessly clean. The tables are well-spaced, the tablecloths are white, the plates and glasses are top-quality, and the silverware is beautiful. The owners and staff are attentive and friendly.

10/04/2026: If you want to play it safe, go to Montpelliano. The fish is incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and we've never left the table dissatisfied with our lunch or dinner. A great atmosphere, impeccable service, and reasonable prices.

16/03/2026: The location is beautiful, just steps from the Ticino River, with a large parking lot in the hotel grounds (a much-loved spot among the locals. This was once the dock that gave the current hotel its name, the "da Broglio" restaurant, famous for its small fish caught directly from the Ticino River, and a small sandy beach called Spiaggia d'Oro). It's one of the largest restaurants in the city (with many rooms and lounges of varying shapes). It offers both pizzas and a choice of meat and fish dishes. Very popular, reservations are recommended.

07/04/2026: I found this pastry shop by chance while driving along the road and I'm so glad I stopped. The pastries and cakes are simply excellent, very fresh, and truly delicious! Excellent service, a clean, spectacular place with all the specialties on display in the window, and the girls behind the counter are very kind and cheerful. Kudos to the owner for everything; I'll definitely be back.

04/05/2026: Authentic and truly tasty food. It's a historic restaurant tucked away in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth a visit regardless. We combined a visit to the nearby Chignolo Po Castle with lunch here. Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: 11/2025 Beautiful restaurant, very spacious interior and classically furnished, perfect for a wedding reception. This is especially evident from the exterior, with flowerbeds and Italianate gardens, classical columns and statues, and country-style accents in the form of low walls and arches. Until a few years ago, the restaurant was probably called Barattino, as evidenced by a diploma from a few decades ago, and as can also be deduced from the name of the town where it is located, which is the same. The food was quite local, as the risotto and chicken were certainly local, while other dishes satisfied the palates with quality, professional service, and timely delivery.

22/04/2026: The hotel is very nice and centrally located, with very convenient on-site parking. The rooms and furnishings are a bit dated, but overall they're in keeping with the property. Inside, there's the Torino restaurant, whose cuisine is a real highlight: truly excellent, featuring some traditional yet very refined dishes.

05/05/2026: A good restaurant/pizzeria offering a good €15 set lunch menu on weekdays, with a choice of four first courses and four second courses, plus a 1/2-liter bottle of mineral water, 1/4-liter wine, and coffee. Off-menu pizza is also available, with many options at a reasonable price, and an excellent, easy-to-digest dough. Service is provided by young, friendly, and fast staff, in a large space with plenty of tables, in an informal 1990s/2000s style. Outdoor parking is free, but limited to the streetside. I recommend it.
