28/08/2024: Stopped by chance for breakfast and returned for lunch. Amazing cream brioches! Crumbly and the cream very fresh and light. For lunch they offer a fixed menu with first course, second course, side dish and dessert included + unlimited water at a truly excellent price. I also ate really well at lunch and the portions were generous. The staff is super friendly and helpful!

15/08/2024: The best brioche I've ever eaten and the super service will always make me return to Voltino when I pass through Pavia. Highly recommended!! I was a student and at Voltino I found the welcome and smile that is often missing in the north. Il Voltino is the place of the heart ❤️

23/07/2024: Accogliente piccolo locale a Voghera, tutto perfetto. Personale preparato e gentile, cibo otttimo e abbondante. Ingredienti di prima qualità ben preparati e curati. Abbiamo pranzato con un antipasto di culatello e burrata, due primi: tagliolini ai porcini e ravioli di magro alle noci, 1 bottiglia di bonarda, 1 caffe, 1 bottiglia di acqua minerale. Abbiamo speso 69 euro, buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Torneremo certamente per assaporare anche i secondi piatti e i dolci.

12/06/2024: For me this was my baptism with gourmet sandwiches and, as I write this short review, I think about how much I would like to return to Alvolo tomorrow evening to try a new dish on the menu. I am still struck by my experience in this place, a true 360 ​​degree discovery, from the food, to the drinks, to the location up to the friendliness of the owners! To start, we had a pasta omelette with Chianina ragù, a bomb of flavour! Then we moved on to them, the great protagonists, the sandwiches: I took the one filled with creamed cod, potato rosti and caramelized onions. Excellent! I don't have much to add, just try it. The friend with me instead took a huge sandwich full of Neapolitan meatballs and cheese, which was also approved. We couldn't help but conclude with a beermisú (beer tiramisu) with the best homemade mascarpone cream I've eaten in Lombardy. I also point out a good amount of craft beers in the area. Congratulations to everyone, experiences like these are very rare! Until next time.

21/07/2024: Al Mastè was a wonderful discovery. Sonia's home cooking is sublime and her farmhouse offers only genuine ingredients grown in their garden. Friendliness and hospitality are the rule. The view enjoyed from the large window of the room would be worth a visit alone! Thanks Sonia!!

06/07/2024: We didn't believe there was a place capable of enclosing the essence of the Oltrepò, until we had lunch at Al Mastè. Traditional dishes, hand-rolled pasta and passion for this work are the ingredients that make this place magical. We will definitely be back!

They make you sit down, you look at the menu and a girl immediately arrives to take the order. Pizza, of course, because Nicola and Alì are really good! 29/08/2024: I recently had lunch in this place near the USP of Pavia. The service is courteous, the menu simple but tasty, the cost correct. A few small mix-ups in the service but nothing serious. Between eating inside or outside, it is better to eat inside as - although the area is limited to car circulation - the tables are close to the road and the passing of buses (you'll still get some bad gas anyway). Otherwise a good experience, for a quick and peaceful lunch break.
