06/12/2025: This is truly a fortunate time for me: I'm increasingly encountering restaurants that fully deserve 5 stars! This time, for work, I found myself having lunch in the splendid Oltrepò Pavese, specifically in Rivanazzano Terme. The Oltrepò is a wonderful region in Lombardy, located on the border with Piedmont and Emilia: a crossroads that enriches the local cuisine with delightful influences from all three regions. In a simple, family-friendly atmosphere, I enjoyed flavorful, well-cooked, and carefully presented dishes. Thanks to the kindness of my companions, I sampled several courses, which allows me to review this restaurant with full knowledge of the facts. All the dishes I tried deserve 5 stars, but one in particular, in my humble opinion, deserves 6: the cappuccino appetizer with poached egg, truffle, and mushroom cream. A true symphony of flavors, capable of winning you over from the first bite! All the dishes were excellent, beautifully plated, and complemented by friendly, informal service. The hostess expertly and passionately explained the dishes' characteristics, adding a touch of authenticity to the experience. In short: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

14/02/2026: Possibly my favorite place in Pavia! It's fun to share the dishes aperitif-style, and each one is better than the last. The cheese board (very unique, with a focus on blue cheeses and, appropriately, aged cheeses) is a must. As for the wine, the selection is vast, both in terms of type and price, with a rotating selection of exceptional wines. The staff is excellent at recommending pairings and dishes (they always stop me from ordering too much), and is generally friendly and efficient. The price is more than fair for the quantity and, above all, the quality, which is evident.

10/01/2026: Nuova Panarea is a guaranteed find in Pavia. It's a simple yet welcoming place. The pizza is excellent, well-cooked and made with quality ingredients, but the restaurant's dishes are also worth a try: generous portions, authentic flavors, and a truly varied menu that's sure to please everyone. Fast and friendly service, perfect for both a lunch break and a relaxed dinner. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, an increasingly rare find. A reliable place, a place you'll gladly return to whenever you want good, uncomplicated food. Highly recommended!

22/09/2025: A wonderful experience! The restaurant is very welcoming, nestled in a hilly setting surrounded by vineyards. The menu is carefully curated, inspired by local traditions; the wine, produced on site, is also excellent. Sonia and Stefano are very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

16/01/2026: I had lunch with my wife at this little restaurant in the center of Pavia. Infernot is a small, elegant restaurant/wine bar with an open kitchen, tastefully decorated to create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Rossella, the owner, is a delightful person, extremely kind, and able to guide you in choosing dishes and wines. The lunch menu offers a few dishes focused on authenticity and seasonality of the products. We enjoyed a cacio e pepe and a pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) that were truly superb. The price is reasonable and is absolutely in line with the quality of the products. A 100% positive experience; we'll be back!

15/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday evening and were greeted with great kindness and warmth. We ate a delicious plate of green pumpkin sweets garnished with cocoa and amaretti biscuits. The tiramisu was excellent; the house red wine was very good. I'll find the opportunity to return!

15/02/2026: Simply perfect! I arrived at just 7:30 PM, and they seated me immediately (luckily, since I hadn't booked). The Novarese pizza was simply perfect (I always order this combination of ingredients, and finding it on the menu is like a needle in a haystack). As for the beer, there's not much to say; Chouffe is a guarantee. Thank you so much.

16/03/2026: I stopped by for lunch, drawn by the positive reviews. Without a reservation, they found me a seat, treated me with great courtesy, and the food... Truly delicious and high-quality! The goose cured meats were mouth-watering, but the risotto and ravioli were also spectacular. A gem of a restaurant!

16/03/2026: A restaurant not to be missed. Lots of Slow Food-certified dishes. The rabbit is magnificent. The goose salami is delicious, with a sauce and caramelized onions that will blow your mind. Interesting wine selection, I'd love to try again. Super efficient.
