27/01/2025: Ho mangiato bene, servizio attento e presente, ottima qualità delle portate espressione del territorio (le scelte di terra). Ottimi i dolci, accogliente la sala. Spesa corretta per quel che ho mangiato. Lo consiglio.

19/01/2025: Tornavamo da Parma per andare a Pavia a prendere le figlie e abbiamo avuto la fortuna di fermarci qui a pranzare. Ambiente bello e ben arredato,tavoli distanziati e ben apparecchiati,servizio veloce e gentilissimo,cucina di gran qualità. Che dire di più se non che all'occasione torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo.

06/10/2024: When I want to relax, comfortably sitting around a table, I go to Le Gabbiane. It is a spectacle to see, and hear, the passing waters of the great Po river. In this place you are immersed in a nature not yet contaminated by the problems of continuous urban growth. In short, Le Gabbiane is a place to spend pleasant moments in company. Updated 6 October 2024. The landscape that can be seen from the square of the Le Gabbiane restaurant is always moving. Even on a not so hot day the view of the great Po is spectacular.

06/10/2024: A homely environment surrounded by nature overlooking the Po. Food at km. Zero of excellent quality. Special and plentiful dishes, delicious, excellent for quality and price. Super recommended

20/02/2025: In zona per acquisto vino, consultiamo TA e decidiamo per questa trattoria gestita da marito e moglie. Cucina casalinga, pochi piatti (per noi un plus) elencati a voce (i prezzi delle portate comunque presenti sui tavoli) . Piatti del territorio e non cucinati al momento, ottima materia prima. Abbiamo preso un antipasto (solo un piatto di coppa per due) una tagliatella al ragu' e un tagliolino radicchio e roqueforte, due crostate con marmellata di mirtilli, un caffè e 1/4 di vino sfuso fermo (molto buono) € 46,00. Dolci fatti in casa dalla titolare, tutto ottimo (anche la musica di sottofondo...playlist scelta dal marito ;-). Pane e salumi ottimi. Cosa gradita che non mi è mai capitato in fase di prenotazione (a noi non è servito) è il fatto di chiedere se ci sono allergie o intolleranze. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consiglio

17/02/2025: Located next to the entrance gate of the Villa Della Porta Bozzolo, this restaurant is very well managed: it serves one clientele for quick lunches and another, in the evening for dinner, with vast menus in which you can choose traditional Pavia dishes and surprising refinements. I have been frequenting the place for years, always with great satisfaction in the summer with the outside tables and in the winter with the fireplace lit. The friendliness of the owners gives an extra touch.

22/03/2025: Una scoperta bellissima. L'avamposto sul grande fiume (il Po) a Portalbera è a pochi passi da Pavia ed è comodamente raggiungibile. Locale ricavato su una vecchia barca, ben rifinito, accogliente, pulitissimo. Menu del giorno e a la carte, buona scelta di vini. Anche il vino della casa è gradevole. Antipasto di salumi da non perdere. I pesciolini fritti una specialità, ma anche la carne è ben preparata. Credo che lo chef sia davvero all'altezza. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Per ultimo, ma non per importanza: bagnetto pulitissimo, riscaldato, profumato.

16/02/2025: Ottima cena ! abbiamo preso il menù degustazione : antipasto di qualità e abbondante, ottimi i primi, secondi e dessert. Servizio attento e cordiale. Luogo suggestivo. I ravioli d'anatra con ragù d'anatra e funghi porcini sono veramente eccezionali e da soli valgono la pena di andarci e tornarci. Se a questo c'è da aggiungere che il prezzo è veramente contenuto (Menù degustazione quindi 5 portate a testa e due bottiglie di Pinot Grigio : eravamo in 5, solo 42 € per persona) allora per concludere direi che consiglio vivamente questo Avamposto sul Grande Fiume ! Complimenti al Chef e al suo staff.

18/03/2025: These guys managed to make the perfect calzone! Large and abundant and rich in filling, but it does not break or open the dough. Tasty but remains light and doesn't weigh you down. Truly magic!
