08/09/2025: I was in that fourth-rate dive two years ago, zero service, worse than the worst cuisine, a pasta with octopus but they were giant octopus with a burnt and acidic sauce... when the owner asked me how it was I said that it wasn't going well, justifying the criticism and telling him that justified criticism helps you improve and grow, in response that great... Lord..... Who has no idea what cooking, cleanliness, hygiene and decorum are told me that you couldn't criticize even though I paid the whole bill... not only ignorant, in the sense that he ignores and how he ignores but also arrogant, presumptuous and just by looking at him he shows the price of his ticket which is minus twenty, I wonder how people can eat there where they don't know what hygiene is

23/05/2025: We worked in the area all week and stopped at this restaurant for lunch, we had a great time, a nice Partenope family that cooks really succulent and traditional dishes, fixed menu with an excellent quality-price ratio, we licked our lips!!! We highly recommend it, we will be back often.

01/09/2025: After several attempts, one evening in late August we finally managed to find a table at Paolo Arpesella's Locanda Antica. It's no wonder it's always so busy: this place truly has something special. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you've stepped back in time, into an atmosphere reminiscent of childhood memories, Sundays spent at grandparents' homes, and authentic, unforgettable traditions. As others have pointed out, this isn't just an inn; it's La Locanda with a capital L. Paolo, the host, perfectly embodies the old-fashioned spirit: he welcomes you with a smile, stops at the table, offers passionate advice, and knows how to create that sense of camaraderie that makes dinner more than just a meal, but an experience. The menu is simple and authentic, without frills: what's there, is there. The portions are just right, never overdone, perfectly balanced. You don't come here for elaborate dishes, but to rediscover the beauty of genuine cuisine, made with raw ingredients and flavors that still taste of home. The value for money is amazing: appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, water, wine, and coffee for €30 per person. In times like these, a real treat. I give it 5 stars only because I can't give more. I recommend everyone to stop here, treat themselves to a few hours of timeless beauty, and let yourself be transported on a journey that takes you back to rhythms and flavors that are now rare. Thank you, Cav.! An evening we will cherish forever.

18/04/2025: Un rapido pranzo di lavoro, abbiamo mangiato molto bene, il cibo era veramente squisito e servito in maniera ideale. Prezzo trasparente e onesto. Personale gentilissimo. Complimenti, un punto di riferimento per altre occasioni a Pavia.

17/08/2025: I had the slow-rising pizza, which was very good. We've had takeout calzones twice before, and honestly, I didn't like them the last time. The toppings were unrelated and tasteless. It's a shame.

27/05/2025: This is a modest but well-kept place. Local food, delicious fried fish, cleaned of entrails and light fried. I would have eaten tons of them!!! Moderate prices. It's worth trying!!! The restaurant is located next to the Po River, a place to visit.

13/07/2025: Una serata da ricordare. Alla Cascina Vittoria si viene accolti da un’atmosfera curata e autentica, dove ogni dettaglio è pensato con gusto e attenzione. Il cibo? Straordinario. Abbiamo gustato il miglior filetto che ci sia mai capitato di assaggiare, accompagnato da un riso pluripremiato che è una vera perla della cucina italiana. I piatti sono frutto di una ricerca raffinata, con ingredienti eccellenti e una presentazione che conquista occhi e palato. Il dolce lievitato è una delizia rara: soffice, profumato, semplicemente perfetto. Il servizio è impeccabile, con uno staff attento e premuroso, mai invadente ma sempre presente. La spesa? Non proprio economico, ma giustificato: chi conosce la qualità e la ricercatezza, qui la trova e la apprezza. Abbiamo scelto di pernottare nella struttura: le camere, immerse nella quiete delle risaie di Pavia, sono finemente arredate, accoglienti e dotate di tutti i comfort. Il letto comodissimo, i cuscini ottimi: una piacevole esperienza che completa la serata. Un grande grazie a tutto il team per averci regalato un momento così speciale. Vale davvero la pena fermarsi qui: per una cena, per una notte, o semplicemente per vivere un angolo di eccellenza.
