20/09/2025: We're coming back from a motorcycle ride in the Piacenza hills. VARZI was one of our stops to stop for a bite, and we were very pleasantly surprised to find this fantastic little place. We had a delicious traditional appetizer and two first courses. We were truly happy and satisfied. The service was impeccable, and the staff were truly kind and helpful. We hadn't ordered dessert for the coffee, so we were served some really delicious homemade cookies. This will definitely bring a lot of positive publicity to friends and family who will be passing through VARZI.

Silvano welcomes guests with kindness and warmth in a true corner of the Oltrepò. The location celebrates the memory of his father Angelino. The bill is reasonable.

29/08/2025: Gorgeous place, surrounded by greenery and very relaxing. The restaurant feels like a mountain cabin, the food is excellent, simple and tasty. The staff is helpful and always smiling, making you feel at home. I have two small children and they had a great time, so much greenery and everything is safe and fenced in. 01/09/2025: After several attempts, one evening in late August we finally managed to find a table at Paolo Arpesella's Locanda Antica. It's no wonder it's always so busy: this place truly has something special. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you've stepped back in time, into an atmosphere reminiscent of childhood memories, Sundays spent at grandparents' homes, and authentic, unforgettable traditions. As others have pointed out, this isn't just an inn; it's La Locanda with a capital L. Paolo, the host, perfectly embodies the old-fashioned spirit: he welcomes you with a smile, stops at the table, offers passionate advice, and knows how to create that sense of camaraderie that makes dinner more than just a meal, but an experience. The menu is simple and authentic, without frills: what's there, is there. The portions are just right, never overdone, perfectly balanced. You don't come here for elaborate dishes, but to rediscover the beauty of genuine cuisine, made with raw ingredients and flavors that still taste of home. The value for money is amazing: appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, water, wine, and coffee for €30 per person. In times like these, a real treat. I give it 5 stars only because I can't give more. I recommend everyone to stop here, treat themselves to a few hours of timeless beauty, and let yourself be transported on a journey that takes you back to rhythms and flavors that are now rare. Thank you, Cav.! An evening we will cherish forever.

04/08/2025: The food was decent, but unfortunately the menu wasn't clearly displayed, and we later discovered it was a fixed menu.

20/09/2025: A wonderful experience, with typical Lomellina cuisine featuring various boiled meats, beef, and chicken. Artisanal sauces and local vegetables are served, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Traditional first courses, such as lasagna and risotto, are also available.

19/10/2025: Everything was great!!! The kitchen was open from 7 p.m. The showers and restrooms were very clean and modern. The food was divine. We had incredibly delicious pasta with mushroom sauce, grilled squid, and a grilled meat platter. Everything was freshly prepared and of excellent quality. The house wine was delicious. The service was also very friendly.

14/09/2025: We sat in the lobby and ate a very solid pizza, with a café, a dolce, and so on. It was good and reasonably priced, with attentive service.

18/10/2025: I went there today with a friend. A pleasant, intimate, familiar, homey place. The fact that it's only open on weekends for lunch makes it exclusive, a bit like the Holy Grail, but exclusive not in a snobbish sense, but always in a homely and genuine way. Local cuisine prepared with care and, I'd even say, love. The risottos are excellent (even for dessert—we didn't order a main course—the lemon parfait). I can't wait to return to expand my "margin of pleasure."

30/07/2025: Questa trattoria è un vero e proprio tuffo nel passato, con un'atmosfera che ricorda gli anni '60 e '70. Il cibo è di alta qualità, il servizio è impeccabile e l'ambiente è semplicemente meraviglioso. La cucina è ottima, con sapori locali autentici che esaltano la tradizione culinaria del territorio. E per completare l'esperienza, la vista sul fiume Po è semplicemente piacevole e meravigliosa. È come tornare indietro nel tempo e ritrovare la magia di un'epoca passata. Consiglio vivamente questa trattoria a tutti coloro che cercano un'esperienza unica e autentica. 5 stelle senza dubbio!

27/07/2025: Il posto è molto bello immerso nella natura, il servizio gentile veloce e professionale. Il menù del giorno ottimo con i prezzi buoni, le razioni nella norma. Il menù alla carta ricercato ma a mio avviso un po' caro. Nel complesso da consigliare.

13/07/2025: Una serata da ricordare. Alla Cascina Vittoria si viene accolti da un’atmosfera curata e autentica, dove ogni dettaglio è pensato con gusto e attenzione. Il cibo? Straordinario. Abbiamo gustato il miglior filetto che ci sia mai capitato di assaggiare, accompagnato da un riso pluripremiato che è una vera perla della cucina italiana. I piatti sono frutto di una ricerca raffinata, con ingredienti eccellenti e una presentazione che conquista occhi e palato. Il dolce lievitato è una delizia rara: soffice, profumato, semplicemente perfetto. Il servizio è impeccabile, con uno staff attento e premuroso, mai invadente ma sempre presente. La spesa? Non proprio economico, ma giustificato: chi conosce la qualità e la ricercatezza, qui la trova e la apprezza. Abbiamo scelto di pernottare nella struttura: le camere, immerse nella quiete delle risaie di Pavia, sono finemente arredate, accoglienti e dotate di tutti i comfort. Il letto comodissimo, i cuscini ottimi: una piacevole esperienza che completa la serata. Un grande grazie a tutto il team per averci regalato un momento così speciale. Vale davvero la pena fermarsi qui: per una cena, per una notte, o semplicemente per vivere un angolo di eccellenza.
