12/11/2025: If you're looking for a real bed and breakfast, this isn't for you: it's more of a "bed & beer" (as also listed on Booking.com). Or rather, the more appropriate definition: a pub with guesthouses. Breakfast? No breakfast; you have to go to a local bar. Check-in? Impossible upon our arrival: we were told we needed to reserve a specific time to be welcomed, so we had to wait until the bar opened. The room? A disaster: unclean duvets, dust everywhere, a bathroom with cobwebs in every corner, a shower without an extractor fan, and only questionable curtains. The room isn't soundproofed: the noise from the pub patrons and the music made it impossible to sleep. In short: two nightmare nights. Highly not recommended.

28/11/2025: One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Spacious and very quiet room, very comfortable beds. Excellent service both at reception and in the bar.

25/11/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria Al Desiderio offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of vegetarian-friendly options to choose from. The penne all’arrabbiata was absolutely fantastic — perfectly cooked pasta with just the right amount of spice. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Do note that the restaurant is actually a short distance from where Google Maps has it pinned, so keep an eye out as you approach. Highly recommend for a delicious and comfortable meal!

What really made the visit extra special was the staff: they were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. 17/08/2025: Nice bar with friendly service. Delicious cocktails/aperitifs. Fair value for money. The music is quite loud. This can be a bit annoying if you're sitting right by the bar window or door. But if you're sitting on the street, it's perfect.

10/11/2025: Tried it by chance, one Saturday for lunch. A truly pleasant discovery. It's now become a tasty rendezvous. The atmosphere is simple, yet elegant and comfortable. The cuisine is typical of Milan and beyond. Every dish is carefully prepared and delicious, even the revisited ones, which are always highly appreciated. The service is fast and friendly.

13/12/2025: We just finished dinner at La Ciciara, a wonderful discovery in the heart of Milan, just steps from the Duomo. A cozy little place, with kind and friendly staff. We were looked after with great attention by Roberta, whose kindness and professionalism accompanied us throughout the evening, providing explanations that made the experience even more special. The menu is truly a winner: just the right number of courses, all interesting and capable of illustrating the local area. The dishes we tried were all delicious, but the top spot undoubtedly goes to the fusilli bucati with potatoes and smoked ricotta: a true delight, made with just three (I think) ingredients, the epitome of the best cucina povera. I will definitely recommend the experience at La Ciciara and will definitely return.

25/11/2025: It wasn't my first time dining at this restaurant, and as always, I was truly impressed by the quality of the dishes and the freshness of the fish. Every course was meticulously prepared. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always available. I highly recommend this restaurant.

15/11/2025: Quality food, the appetizer was excellent, the fried food wasn't the lightest but it was good. The quality/price ratio was good, but the portions were a bit small for the price. The service was friendly and fast, and the location was simple but elegant. I recommend trying the fork, especially; we tried it with the 50% discount, which doesn't apply to drinks, coffee, or cover charge.

29/11/2025: Excellent pizza, and mozzarella that's a bit reminiscent of a smoky flavor, very good. A little more expensive than other places that sell pizza by the slice, but the flavor is really good.

27/11/2025: The pizza was very good, I even asked why it was so light and I discovered that it was due to the 24-hour leavening process, a great find, I'll definitely be back.

30/10/2025: The pizzas, although not huge, are very easy to digest and well-cooked. The restaurant's strong point is the ingredients used: plentiful, fresh, and high-quality. Prices are lower than those of the competition. Recommended.
