Peng Lai .. decent Chinese-run restaurant .. decent food for a work lunch break (I didn't like the sauces that accompanied the chicken and shrimp with bamboo shoots.. a bit difficult to digest) .. not bad location, mixed Chinese-Italian staff .. waiting times a bit long .. à la carte menu needs to be reviewed ..

Truly an excellent experience! A well-kept, clean Japanese restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food is high-quality, fresh, and beautifully presented: excellent sushi, balanced flavors, and carefully prepared dishes. The staff is friendly, helpful, and fast, always smiling. Excellent value and well-organized service. A place we'll gladly return to, whether for a quiet dinner or a leisurely lunch. Highly recommended!

If I had just ordered the sushi, the review would have been four stars. I regret having to give it three stars, because the staff was extremely friendly, the place is welcoming, and the prices are fair. Unfortunately, however, the soy and rice noodles were extremely salty. Regular customers have told me this isn't usually the case, so I'll probably return. Update as of January 25, 2026: I had lunch here again. The noodles were significantly less salty, and I really enjoyed the grilled chicken with potatoes. Unfortunately, however, this time the seaweed in the sushi didn't taste good. I still recommend this place, but I'm aware of the inconsistencies in the quality of some ingredients.
