29/11/2025: I've been here several times now, but each time is a confirmation. I started coming with my cousin, who is a true regular, and I've never been disappointed: never a flaw, never a drop in quality. The credit goes first and foremost to the service, always attentive and discreet. Diletta is a wonderful presence: kind, polite, smiling, and capable of making every customer feel truly welcomed. But the real strength is, of course, the cuisine: excellent ingredients, prepared with care and precision, innovative dishes without ever being overbearing, some truly original. For seafood lovers, this place is a little paradise: many of the dishes are simply delicious. The location is equally pleasant: I've been both summer and winter, and each season has its own charm. In summer, the outdoor seating is delightful, nestled in a well-kept setting reminiscent of a small garden; there's convenient reserved parking, and the space is accessible to all, perfect for private parties or small events.

09/12/2025: Delicious, but some dishes were way too salty; I struggled to finish them. Still, it was very good, and I liked being able to choose as many options as I wanted. I'll definitely be back. It would also be much better if you used a take-out container that can be opened and closed. I had some leftovers, and since I didn't have another container with me, I had to keep them in the one that couldn't be closed.

10/12/2025: When I come for lunch here, I always order the ossobuco with Milanese risotto. What can I say? The meat melts in your mouth. The risotto is always tasty and generously portioned. And most importantly, I never get heartburn, like I get when I eat the same dish at other Milanese restaurants. A cuisine that's not heavy and that delights the palate. All this is accompanied by the kindness of the hostess, who makes sure nothing is missing.

10/12/2025: A little gem in the heart of Milan. I've stopped here twice, the first time by pure chance. Very intimate and elegant, with a great atmosphere. The menu is varied, as is the excellent wine list. I recommend trying several pasta dishes, especially the veal chop, one of the most tender I've ever eaten. To finish, a homemade panettone that melted in your mouth. Prices are in line with current Milanese standards.

08/12/2025: The atmosphere is refined and very pleasant, the food is excellent, and the staff is excellent - super attentive and passionate. Excellent selection of wines for all tastes. Good value for money.

11/12/2025: We came to Mater Bistrot for my sister's birthday, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience... We opted for the five-course menu, and each one was better than the others... I especially love the creamy peanut butter risotto, the oyster with chicken fat... surprising flavors that definitely have their own unique flavor, paired with an exquisite aligoté Bourgogne! Our dinner was a real success, thanks in part to the warm welcome and the professional, attentive service! We'll be back, thank you so much!

17/12/2025: Zucchini flowers and Salmon were great 👍🏻 Spaghetti with shrimp was a bit disappointing though (was expecting a bit more shrimps). The staff were friendly and overall it’s good.

08/12/2025: The food was salty and too tasty. After pointing it out to the owner, he even responded rudely. The cocktail, more than half a glass, was ice. Never again.

06/12/2025: I've only recently discovered this bar, but I immediately fell in love with it. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is excellent, and the drinks are delicious and original, and the aperitivo is plentiful. I always recommend it to everyone, even though I come from far away. 🥰🥰

28/10/2025: after some homemade bread & prosecco on the house and pulpo salad as an apertizer we had a pizza Napoli and Risotto for the main dish. we enjoyed a great bottle of Ornellaia Le Volte wine. after some espressi the owner offered us even a limoncello. the service was excellent and the food delicious. Grazie!

26/10/2025: This place should get a higher rating. Wonderful service and delicious, classic food. They give you free focaccia and have olive oil and balsamic on the table ready to go. They gave me a glass of prosecco and a shot of limoncello on the house. They also have a great wine list. I ordered a glass of wine, risotto alla Milanese, and traditional tiramisu, and now I'm ready to go to sleep. Wonderful last meal in Milan. This restaurant should get a higher rating. The service was very attentive, and the food was delicious. They gave me a free glass of prosecco and a shot of limoncello. A wonderful dinner for my last night in Milan.

28/11/2025: A Cistercian monastery founded by Bernard of Clairvaux. Upon entering, one breathes in history and beauty. The church, frescoed with cycles related to the Cistercians, features a wooden choir of exquisite workmanship and imposing brick columns originally frescoed. Note the painting of the Madonna and Child, known as the Madonna of Goodnight, by the school of Leonardo, located at the top of the stairs leading from the church to the dormitory (so called because it was the last image the monks looked at before going to sleep). The cloister, accessed through a door in the church, is also very beautiful. Of particular beauty is the octagonal tower known as Ciribiciaccola, an onomatopoeia with the sound of a young stork.
