01/11/2025: Very nice place to grab brunch! Ordered a bagel and it was very tasty, the portions are quite big though for my liking, and was more like a burger than a bagel, but with that said I still really liked it and will 100% come back to try more! Can’t give 5 stars because I wouldn’t say it’s exceptional or outstanding American breakfasts. But good overall. Atmosphere is nice, and there’s a lot of locations around town, making it a safe go-to food spot in Milan.

There were three of us, and the experience was excellent, from the moment we walked in until the last bite. The Food: Fresh, Tasty, and Satisfying. We ordered three classic brunch dishes, each prepared with care and attention: Eggs & Avocado: A beautifully presented dish, with perfectly poached eggs perched on toast and creamy avocado. The seasoning was balanced and the ingredients were ultra-fresh, for a healthy and satisfying result. Scrambled Eggs & Bacon: Fluffy scrambled eggs accompanied by crispy, flavorful bacon. A simple yet perfectly executed dish, with generous portions and the ideal balance between comfort food and quality. Red Berry Pancakes: The perfect dessert to finish. Light and fluffy pancakes, garnished with a cascade of fresh red berries and a drizzle of not-too-sweet syrup. The contrast between the warm pancakes and the fresh fruit was simply delicious. Each dish arrived at the table perfectly timed and with meticulous presentation, reflecting the kitchen's attention to detail. The menu offers an interesting variety, but these three dishes alone left us completely satisfied. The Staff: An Exemplar of Hospitality What truly made our visit special was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and professionalism. The staff proved to be: Polite and welcoming, making us feel immediately at ease even during a busy time. Patient and attentive, courteously answering our questions about the menu and offering sincere suggestions. Available and thoughtful, always present at the right time, without ever being intrusive, and attentive to every detail of the service. It's rare to find a team that combines efficiency and human warmth so effortlessly. Their calm, smiles, and helpfulness added a touch of magic to the experience. Atmosphere & Location: The ambiance is inviting: soft lighting, wooden accents, and a relaxed atmosphere that encourages you to enjoy your time. Whether you choose a table indoors or outdoors, the setting is perfect for a chat with friends or a quiet, solo brunch. Viale Premuda is an elegant and easily accessible area, which adds to the experience. Conclusion: California Bakery on Viale Premuda isn't just a place to eat: it's a place where you feel welcomed. The food is excellent, the staff is extraordinary, and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. Whether you're Milanese or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit for brunch. 04/10/2025: A very good place to have breakfast, we left the car in a covered parking lot, excellent coffee, lots of different baked goods: sandwiches, paninis, brioches, mini pizzas are very tasty

28/10/2025: A well-kept and clean wine bar, with knowledgeable, friendly, and never intrusive staff. Excellent toast and pints, and not only that; excellent amber beer, a wide selection of wines, a lively atmosphere. I highly recommend.

28/10/2025: The place hasn't aged well enough, almost becoming anonymous. The wine selection isn't bad, and the charcuterie and cheese platter is good. I'd improve the staff, who are quite cold and sometimes rude to customers.

20/12/2025: A historic cinema with a good lineup that fails in its seating management. Despite the price (9 euros and 50 cents), you can't choose your seat; it's assigned by the box office at checkout. The result? You find yourself sitting close to other people in only three or four full rows in the entire theater. It's hot, uncomfortable, and there are so many empty seats. What's the point?!

20/10/2025: Absolutely terrible service!!! We're Russian and have been living in Germany for a long time. My wife and I stopped in here – I wanted coffee, she wanted a glass of wine. We sat at the table the girl showed us. We waited about 15 minutes for the waiter, even though there weren't that many customers. We placed our order, and waited another 15 minutes. The waiter brought me a cappuccino (photo), and I was stunned. Not only is this presentation inappropriate for this establishment, but it was still barely warm. I mentioned this to the girl assigning tables, thinking she'd have the sense to change it. But after waiting another 15 minutes, we decided to pay the bill and leave. You should have seen the cashier's face when she came to check out. With such a disgruntled face, you should be sitting at home, not serving customers. P.S. You need to value every customer if you want to continue to prosper. With service like this, you'll go down the drain.

10/12/2025: After years of enjoying great food, I'm trying the new Smash burger. I haven't been this disappointed even at McDonald's. Absolutely nonexistent, completely different from the photo. No distinctive flavor, but above all, the meat is practically less than a regular burger, and still, at $16.90; I wouldn't have paid half that. Don't order it under any circumstances if you want to leave the place satisfied.

29/11/2025: Unfortunately, I have to note that there has been a dramatic deterioration in the management of this place. We happened to go there on a Tuesday evening, so it was absolutely quiet with few customers, but despite this, we received terrible service and also had a terrible experience with the food. The staff were absolutely inadequate and therefore the service was truly embarrassingly slow, it was a challenge to get noticed in order to have the chance to order, once we ordered we asked for a plate of meat with BBQ sauce and received a truly inedible dish due to how spicy it was... we tried to eat it anyway but it was really impossible, so we started trying to attract attention so we could order something else... when they finally reached us at the table with an exasperated and rude expression, we pointed out with absolute kindness and on tiptoe that we wanted to order something else because the dish was extremely spicy and this was not indicated on the menu, we were told that the soy BBQ is not the normal BBQ sauce and is spicy, with a shrug of the shoulders as if it was not their problem for having omitted the description of the dish on the menu. We ordered something else anyway, and the manager then left without even taking away the dishes we'd indicated we wanted to send back. When the waitress arrived with the second dish, we had to specifically ask her if she could please take away the dishes we hadn't been able to consume so that the new dishes could fit on the table. At that point, she took them away, telling us she'd be back shortly with the empty plates for the second dish we'd ordered, and with some bread. But she took so long to come back that the second dish got cold. We had to ask for the bread twice. And in the end, the best part was that they even charged us for the inedible dishes! Truly tragic, totally incompetent management, and on top of that, lack of commitment and no smile. Never again.

13/12/2025: I went to the piadina shop on Via Bergognone today. I was served by a girl who told me her name was Irene. She was super kind, and the piadina was DELICIOUS! Kudos to the staff!

13/12/2025: A pampering and tasteful experience in a refined setting. I visited San Pietro Cafè for an aperitivo, and the overall experience was truly remarkable. As soon as you enter, you're enveloped in a warm and evocative atmosphere: the venue is splendid, decorated in a meticulously crafted industrial chic style, with soft lighting and lush greenery hanging from the ceiling, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The real highlight, however, was the welcome. The waiters were exquisite, kind, and very attentive: we felt truly "pampered" and cared for with care, a level of customer service that is always a pleasure to experience. As for the aperitivo, the drinks were well-made and accompanied (not included in the aperitivo) by a rich, quality platter (nothing like the usual industrial snacks): we enjoyed bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, excellent cured meats, cubes of cheese, and tasty slices of pizza and focaccia. I also noticed an interesting display of wines from their estate and a very inviting dessert display at the entrance. Note on the prices: they are perhaps a little higher than the average for the area. However, considering the beauty of the location, the abundance of food, and above all the excellent service that makes you feel at home, I'd say the price is justified for those looking to treat themselves to a special evening.

23/08/2025: Food and prices are normal. Despite the fact that it's illegal not to keep separate bills, the owner has continued to demand a single bill for our table for two weeks. This obviously causes organizational problems for large groups.

12/09/2025: This was truly one of my best evenings in Milano. The staff was very friendly and gave me excellent advice on wine when asked. And of course, the wines themselves were amazing.
