08/10/2025: I'm now deeply saddened to see the "closed for business" sign. I'd like to express my gratitude for the many years I've enjoyed dining at this restaurant. For the kindness and courtesy of the owners and staff, and for the consistently excellent and authentic food. I will miss it. It's another corner of Milan's working-class culture that's disappearing. I'm deeply saddened.

05/06/2026: A trattoria, a true trattoria! We ate very well, everything cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the portions were decidedly generous. But beyond that, I'm incredibly grateful to the staff who contacted me because I'd forgotten my bag hanging on the chair! It seems obvious, but in this world where trust has become impossible, finding such honest people opens the heart. We'll definitely be back. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏

01/06/2026: I wanted to try it, but I strongly advise against it. I ordered the shrimp and zucchini gnocchi, which arrived burnt and flavorless. The panna cotta was also good (perhaps too much gelatin), but since they used industrial syrups, it just tasted like chemicals. I really like old-fashioned places, but the food, unfortunately, is too bad. The girl who served us was impeccable.

13/09/2025: The menu is great, options are amazing, portions are good! Had a bagel with chicken, avocado, bacon etc. Everything was niiice thought the chicken was a bit dry. The only thing that was a miss was the americano that was honestly real bad.

28/03/2026: The atmosphere is very casual, but not quite the osteria standard, nor is the service. The food isn't exceptional, neither good nor bad... The portions aren't generous, and the prices are average. I wouldn't go back...

28/03/2026: Pleasant atmosphere, exceptional food, it was a discovery and we'll be back. Everything was excellent, from the flavor to the lightness, even the fried fish wasn't greasy! The lady was also kind and nice 🙂 the price was fair and the portions weren't small!

04/02/2026: What can I say? We're talking about one of Milan's most famous nightclubs. The location is very beautiful, unfortunately it's often a little too crowded, but that's fine. If you want to enjoy your evening, book a table in the super private area and rest assured, fun is guaranteed.

26/01/2026: I had a really upsetting experience with the security staff here. My girlfriend was allowed in, but I was stopped and treated completely differently for no clear reason. The way they spoke to me and singled me out felt discriminatory, and honestly, it came across as racist.

09/05/2026: Nice place but one of the staff (tall and a bit old, about 45 years old, who works behind the bar) was very rude and answered in an unprofessional manner.

28/03/2026: I've been a customer for many years. The elegant location in one of Milan's most beautiful areas is ideal for breakfasts and aperitifs.

08/03/2026: I went to the shop to make some purchases and have an aperitif. A pleasant but very ordinary location, very spartan, in the middle of a desolate square, with no table to sit at for the aperitif, which included a glass of a non-alcoholic cocktail and a platter with four slices of prosciutto, a crème brûlée-style (but smaller) gorgonzola, three 3-cm pieces of basil cheese, and a few pieces of toasted flaky bread. The purchase at the shop, however, included two champagne cheese balls, two truffle cheese balls, a piece of basil cheese, and a piece of tomato cheese. I was presented with the bill, which I foolishly paid without hesitation, for €163.00. A place for those with money to waste, not for normal people: as tasty as the products were, the prices were unreasonable.

01/03/2026: La Baita del Formaggio in Milan immediately strikes you with its scenic appearance: the open-view counter is very attractive and easily attracts attention. However, I recommend always asking for prices before purchasing, as the prices are decidedly high compared to both the quality of the products and the service offered. The experience doesn't quite live up to the expectations created by the initial impression.

17/05/2026: It's true that we're in Gae Aulenti and the prices are a bit high, but no bullshit, please. My friend and I went for an aperitivo, and the menu said €8 for a spritz. Nowhere on the menu is there a food surcharge. We ordered two, without specifying that we wanted food, so we expected two appetizers to nibble on. This plate arrived with a few small items inside: two slices of mortadella, a few olives, two pieces of focaccia, and a few chips. We ate, thinking that for €8, and given the location, it was indeed a good deal. And then, no, we went to pay and were charged €12 each instead of the €8 listed on the menu. When we asked about the increase, they told us that the €12 aperitivo deal was clearly stated on a sign in front of the place. I swear I searched the front for a good 5 minutes and there was no sign of this sign. So, at this point, why are you writing that Aperol costs €8 on the menu if you're going to bring me food at a premium (without me asking) and charge me €12? Put up a damn sign.

11/05/2026: Excellent service! The coffee was very good, the atmosphere peaceful, perfect for conversation, and I loved the variety of desserts they had. Perfect for sitting down with a coffee after browsing the shops.

06/05/2026: I was able to grab a quick lunch, enjoying a whole-wheat pizza. The waiter was friendly, and I also found the cashier very friendly and cheerful. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to spend their lunch break in the city center.

30/04/2026: It was amazing - the waiters were super friendly and the food was amazing. We had Bruschetta and the Ravioli with Ricotta and Lemon for a light lunch and it was super delicious.

27/04/2026: Ridiculous price and somewhat smothering service. 7.50 for a glass of beer.

24/03/2026: March 24, 2026. We visited this restaurant today. The lady who served us was very kind. Even though I ordered the wrong dish, she replaced it at no extra charge. The food was excellent. I'll be back whenever I'm craving sushi. Thank you.

07/05/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. The food outstanding, the staff were great. The atmosphere is awesome. You’re right in the middle of the Duomo. It was perfect.

30/03/2026: I stop by Viva in Caiazzo every morning for my lactose-free cappuccino (sometimes to go, sometimes to enjoy on site, bathed in the sunshine through the windows). I love starting my day this way, not only for the product itself (I'm very picky about the quality and foam of my cappuccino) but especially for the environment. Maria, first and foremost, is an excellent leader and always has a smile on her face (which makes all the difference!), and the other girls are always kind too. It's definitely worth spending your entire salary there :P
